This paper presents a flexible and wearable textile array antenna designed to generate Orbital Angular Momentum(OAM)waves with Mode+2 at 3.5 GHz(3.4 to 3.6 GHz)of the sub-6 GHz fifth-generation(5G)New Radio(NR)*** proposed antenna is based on a uniform circular array of eight microstrip patch antennas on a felt textile *** contrast to previous works involving the use of rigid substrates to generate OAM waves,this work explored the use of flexible substrates to generate OAM waves for the first *** than that,the proposed antenna was simulated,analyzed,fabricated,and tested to confirm the generation of OAMMode+*** the same design,OAM Mode−2 can be generated readily simply by mirror imaging the feed *** that the proposed antenna operated at the desired frequency of 3.5 GHz with an overall bandwidth of 400 MHz in free ***,mode purity analysis is carried out to verify the generation of OAM Mode+2,and the purity obtained was 41.78%at free space flat ***,the effect of antenna bending on the purity of the generated OAM mode is also ***,the influence of textile properties on OAM modes is examined to assist future researchers in choosing suitable fabrics to design flexible OAM-based *** a comprehensive analysis considering different factors related to wearable applications,this paper demonstrates the feasibility of generating OAMwaves using textile ***,as per the obtained Specific Absorption Rate(SAR),it is found that the proposed antenna is safe to be *** findings of this work have a significant implication for body-centric communications.

Role of Nd_2O_3 nanoparticles addition on microstructural and superconducting properties of YBa_2Cu_3O_(7–δ) ceramics

The effects of Nd2O3 nanoparticles addition on microstructure, transport and AC susceptibility properties of YBa2Cu3O7–δ（Y123） superconductors were systematically investigated using X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron micrograph （SEM）, four point probe measurement and AC spectrometer. It was found that the added samples were predominant by Y-123 phase beside small amount of Y-211 and unreacted Nd2O3secondary phases. All added samples preserved the orthorhombic structure similar to the pure sample and no orthorhombic-to-tetragonal transition occurred. The samples became more porous and their grain size significantly de-creased with addition of Nd2O3. The addition of nano-Nd2O3 disturbed the grain growth of Y123, thus resulting in the degradation of superconducting properties of the samples. The superconducting transition temperature （Tc onset） of samples decreased from 92 K for x=0.0 to 78 K forx=1.0 wt.%, which could be attributable to oxygen vacancy disorder. From AC susceptibility result, the inter- and intra-granular loss peaks became wider and broader with increase of Nd2O3 addition due to the weakening of grains coupling. On the other hand, the inter-granular critical current density,Jcm, was found to increase with Nd2O3 addition and had the highest value at x=0.6, confirming that Nd2O3 nanoparticles acted as pinning centers in Y123 matrix.

Understanding the nature of hydrophobicity has fundamental importance in environmental *** spherical silica nanoparticles(diameter=369±7 nm)as the model material,the current study investigates the relationship between the alkyl chain network and *** alkyl silanes with different chain length(triethoxymethylsilane(C1)***(octyl)silane(C8))were utilised separately for the functionalisation of the *** contact angle and inverse gas chromatography results show that the alkyl chain length is essential for controlling hydrophobicity,as the octyl-functionalised nanoparticles were highly hydrophobic(water contact angle=150.6°±6.6°),whereas the methyl-functionalised nanoparticles were hydrophilic(i.e.,water contact angle=0°,similar to the pristine nanoparticles).The homogeneity of the octyl-chain network also has a significant effect on hydrophobicity,as the water contact angle was reduced significantly from 148.4°±3.5°to 30.5°±1.0°with a methyl-/octyl-silane mixture(ratio=160:40µL·g^(–1) nanoparticles).

We carry out a comparison of the thermoluminescence (TL) response of photon and electron irradiated Ge- and Al-doped SiO_(2) optical fibres,as well as cross-comparison with that of *** is made with 6 MeV electrons and 6 MV photons,for doses ranging from 0.2 Gy to *** commercially available Al- and Gedoped optical fibres produce a linear dose-TL *** TL yield for both of the doped fibres and also for TLD-100 is greater for electron irradiation than for photon *** TL yield of the Al-doped fibres is a small fraction of that of Ge-doped fibres (by a factor of 25),the Ge-doped fibres offering a response of 59%o of that of TLD-100.

Loss given default(LGD)is a key parameter in credit risk management to calculate the required regulatory minimum *** internal ratings-based(IRB)approach under the Basel II allows institutions to determine the loss given default(LGD)on their *** this study,we have estimated LGD for a credit portfolio data by using beta regression with precision parameter(∅)and mean parameter(μ).The credit portfolio data was obtained from a banking institution in Jordan;for the period of January 2010 untilDecember *** the first stage,we have used the“outstandingamount”and“amount of borrowing”to find LGD of each default borrower(494 out of 4393 borrower).In the second stage,we fit univariate parametric distributions to the LGD data to obtain the beta *** that,we have estimated the values of∅based on microeconomic variables(SPP,OE and LR).Moreover,we have estimated the values ofμbased on macroeconomic variables(GDP and Inflation rate).Finally,we have compared between six different link functions(Logit,loglog,probit,cloglog,cauchit,and log),which have used with∅andμ.The results show that Beta regression with probit link function has the highest R-squared with accepted measurements for logL,AIC and BIC.

Objective:To explore the effects of kelulut honey on bone structure and histomorphometry against glucocorticoid-induced ***:Thirty-five male rats were used(n=7).Twenty-eight adrenalectomized rats were divided into four groups;each group was given normal saline 0.9%(negative control),calcium water(positive control),kelulut honey(200 mg/kg/day and 400 mg/kg/day,respectively)treatment,*** of them were administered with intramuscular injection of dexamethasone(120μg/kg/day)to induce *** sham operated rats were given vehicle palm olein 0.05 mL/100 g/day by intramuscular injection and 0.1 mL/kg/day *** the treatments were given daily for 2 *** peroxidation and oxidative stress enzymes were *** addition,bone structural and histomorphometry analyses were also ***:Two-month glucocorticoid treatment increased the level of malondialdehyde and decreased superoxide dismutase *** significant changes were found in the activities of catalase and glutathion *** volume/tissue volume and trabecular number were significantly reduced while trabecular separation of the femoral bones was increased which corresponded to the decreased number of osteoblast surface after two months of receiving glucocorticoid *** honey treatment restored the level of superoxide dismutase and reduced malondialdehyde significantly(P<0.05).Moreover,kelulut honey increased bone volume/tissue volume,trabecular number and decreased trabecular separation significantly(P<0.05),which were further confirmed by increased osteoblast surface and decreased osteoclast surface number(P<0.05).Conclusions:Kelulut honey may have potential bone protective effect,and may be a prophylaxis against glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis.

Classification is one of the data mining processes used to predict predetermined target classes with data learning *** study discusses data classification using a fuzzy soft set method to predict target classes *** study aims to form a data classification algorithm using the fuzzy soft set *** this study,the fuzzy soft set was calculated based on the normalized Hamming *** parameter in this method is mapped to a power set from a subset of the fuzzy set using a fuzzy approximation *** the classification step,a generalized normalized Euclidean distance is used to determine the similarity between two sets of fuzzy soft *** experiments used the University of California(UCI)Machine Learning dataset to assess the accuracy of the proposed data classification *** dataset samples were divided into training(75%of samples)and test(25%of samples)*** were performed in MATLAB R2010a *** experiments showed that:(1)The fastest sequence is matching function,distance measure,similarity,normalized Euclidean distance,(2)the proposed approach can improve accuracy and recall by up to 10.3436%and 6.9723%,respectively,compared with baseline ***,the fuzzy soft set method is appropriate for classifying data.
