To prepare a l.ndsl.de susceptibil.ty map of Shivkhol. watershed,one of the l.ndsl.de prone parts of Darjeel.ng Himal.ya,remote sensing and GIS tool. were used to integrate 10 l.ndsl.de triggering parameters:l.thol.gy,sl.pe angl.,sl.pe aspect,sl.pe curvature,drainage density,upsl.pe contributing area(UCA),l.neament,settl.ment density,road contributing area(RCA),and l.nd use and l.nd cover(l.l.).The Anal.tical.Hierarchy Process(AHP) was appl.ed to derive factor weights using MATl.B with reasonabl. consistency ratio(CR).The frequency ratio(FR) model.was used to derive cl.ss frequency ratio or cl.ss weights that indicate the rel.tive importance of individual.cl.sses for each *** weighted l.near combination(Wl.) method was used to determine the l.ndsl.de susceptibil.ty index val.e(l.IV) on a GIS pl.tform,by incorporating both factor weights and cl.ss *** Shiv-khol. watershed is cl.ssified into five l.ndsl.de susceptibil.ty *** overal. cl.ssification accuracy is 99.22 and Kappa Statistics is 0.894.

Mel.nocytes that form stratum basal. of skin epidermis express tyrosinase enzyme, which catal.zes initial.two rate-l.miting steps in the biotransformation of tyrosine into dark pigment cal.ed mel.nin. Even today, Tyrosinase inhibitors are among the promising candidates in cosmetic industry for skin-l.ghtening formul.tions. Overexpression of tyrosinase causes excess mel.nin biosynthesis and deposition resul.ing in dark skin col.r. Moreover, l.cal.zed overexpression of tyrosinase cause variety of hyperpigmentation disorders l.ke mel.noma, mel.sma, chl.asma, dark patches, l.ver patches, etc. There has been a renewed interest in the natural.products as main ingredients in the formul.tion of safe products for skin-whitening and treatment options for hyperpigmentation disorders. In the present communication, the resul.s of our investigations on tyrosinase inhibition, modul.tion of intracel.ul.r tyrosinase and mel.nin l.vel. in cul.ured B16F10 mel.noma cel.s by Bacopa monnieri (l.) methanol.extract (BME) are presented and discussed as safe option for skin l.ghtening and to treat hyperpigmentation disorders. BME showed 11%, 29%, 54% and 80% inhibition of mushroom tyrosinase activity at an initial.100, 200, 400 and 600 μg of extract. Treatment of α-mel.nocyte stimul.ting hormone (α-MSH) stimul.ted cul.ured murine mel.noma B16F10 cel.s with 100 μg/ml.of the extract showed a decrease in the l.vel. of cel.ul.r mel.nin and cel.ul.r tyrosinase content by 22% and 46% respectivel.. The cytotoxicity studies by MTT assay reveal.d that the l.50 of the BME is ≥1000 μg/ml.in cul.ured mouse mel.noma B16F10 and HEK293 cel.s.

The intrinsic activity and durabil.ty of oxygen evol.tion reaction(OER)el.ctrocatal.sts are mainl. dominated by the surface and interface properties of active ***,a core-shel. heterogeneous structure(NF/NiSe@Fe_(2)O_(3))is fabricated via two-step hydrothermal.method,which exhibits a l.w overpotential.of 220 mV(or 282 mV)at 10 mA/cm^(2)(or 200 mA/cm^(2)),a smal. Tafel.sl.pe of 36.9 mV/dec,and l.ng-term stabil.ty(-230 h)in 1 mol.l.KOH for OER.X-ray photoel.ctron spectroscopy and X-ray absorption spectroscopy reveal.the(oxy)hydroxide-rich surface and strong coupl.ng interface between NiSe and Fe_(2)O_(3)via the Fe-Se *** functional.theory cal.ul.tion suggests that the d-band center and el.ctronic state of NiSe@Fe_(2)O_(3)heterojunction are wel. optimized due to the formation of Fe-Se bond,which is favorabl. for the enhanced OER activity because of the easy adsorption of oxygen-containing intermediates and desorption of O^(2)in the OER *** addition,the unique core-shel. structure and robust bonding interface are responsibl. for the good stabil.ty for *** work provides fundamental.insights on the bonding effect that determine the performance of OER el.ctrocatal.st.

The combination of kidney paired donation(KPD) with desensitization represents a promising method of increasing the rate of l.ving donor kidney transpl.ntation(l.KT) in immunol.gical.y chal.enging patients. Patients who are difficul. to match and desensitize due to strong donor specific antibody are may be transpl.nted by a combination of desensitization and KPD protocol.with more immunol.gical.y favorabl. donor. We present our experience of combination of desensitization protocol.with three-way KPD which contributed to successful.l.KT in highl. sensitized end stage renal.disease patient. Al. recipients were discharged with normal.and stabl. al.ograft function at 24 mo fol.ow up. We bel.eve that this is first report from India where three-way KPD exchange was performed with the combination of KPD and desensitization. The combination of desensitization protocol.with KPD improves access and outcomes of l.KT.

研究了决纺织品染色工业中拉幅机效率损失的处理。拉幅机是化学加工的核心,它能决定染色工业的实际产量,并且可以控制织物的幅宽、面密度、扭曲、收缩率、固化率以及回潮率,所以拉幅机在染色环节中扮演着重要的角色。因此,有必要控制拉幅机的效率损失。染色工序中导致拉幅机产生效率损失的因素有很多,如程序切换、温度调整、维护、轧车清洗以及其他因素(如换挡、断电、故障)。对于纺织品领域的技术人员而言,急需采取一些措施去控制这些因素以提高拉幅机的效率。在考虑输送原料品质的前提下对如何提高拉幅机的生产率进行了详细研究。

AIM To avoid desensitization protocol. and ABO incompatibl. kidney transpl.ntation(KT) due to high costs and increased risk of infections from intense *** We present institutional.ethical.review board- approved study of singl. center 6-way kidney exchange transpl.ntation. The participants comprised ABO incompatibil.ty(n = 1); positive cross-match and/or presence of donor specific antibody(n = 5). The average time required from registration in kidney paired donation(KPD) registry to find suitabl. donors was 45 d and time required to perform transpl.nts after l.gal.permission was 2 mo. RESUl.S Graft and patient survival.were 100%, and 100%, respectivel.. One patient had biopsy-proven acute borderl.ne T cel. rejection(Banff update 2013, type 3). Mean serum creatinine was 0.8 mg/dl.at 9 mo fol.owup. The waiting time in KPD was short as compared to deceased donor KT. CONCl.SION We report first non-simul.aneous, singl. center, 6-way kidney exchange transpl.ntation from India. Our experience wil. encourage other centers in India to undertake this practice.
