This review aims to offer a vision of the clinical reality of cell therapy today in intensive *** this,it has been carried out a description of the properties,functions,and Mesenchymal Stem Cells(MSCS)sources to subsequently address the evidence in preclinical models and studies clinical trials with whole cells and models attributed to small extracellular vesicles(sEVs),nanoparticles made up of microvesicles secreted by cells with an effect on the extracellular matrix,and their impact as an alternative towards cell-free regenerative *** are cells that enhance the regenerative capacity which can be differentiated typically in different lineages committed as bone,cartilage,and adipose *** the other hand,small extracellular vesicles are structures that participate notoriously and crucially in intercellular communication,which has led to a change in the concept of the functions and the role that these vesicles play in living organisms,in the restoration of damaged tissues and the inflammatory response and *** present the mechanisms that are involved in the applications of MSCS as whole cells and their sEVs in cell therapy and cell-free therapy as an alternative in regenerative *** the structural loss that occurs after surgical procedures for cystic and tumoral pathology in periodontitis,as well as the maxillary atrophy that determines the rehabilitation with dental implants,it is imperative to find satisfactory *** opportunity provided by the findings in stem cells is a recent introduction in the field of oral surgery,based on the regenerative potential that these cells possess to restore defects at different levels of the oral *** review aims to discover the real applications that stem cells may have in our treatments shortly.

Upscaling perovskite solar cell fabrication is one of the key challenges in the pathway for *** slow evaporation of frequently used solvents(DMF or DMSO) limits the fast perovskite layer crystallization,hindering their implementation in large scale deposition ***,methylamine-based precursors have demonstrated rapid crystallization,leading to uniform and specular ***,their application has been limited to MAPbI3 perovskites with limited efficiency and *** this work,we report the requirements for stabilizing α-phase of mixed cation perovskites with high amount of formamidinium by using a methylamine-based *** found that even though,there are many methods for incorporating the methylamine(MA) in precursors or films;the MA content determines stabilization of the α-phase and therefore the viscous-solution route is the only method to incorporate high amounts of *** low amounts of MA,perovskite tend to crystallize in 1D dimensional FA_(3)(MA)PbI5 phases due to the incomplete solvation of the *** contrast,high MA ratio induces a full solvation of the clusters,leading to a rapid crystallization and a full stabilization of the active 3D α-*** results open a window in the development and understanding of new precursors for the fabrication of high efficient,stable and scalable perovskite devices.

Surfaces of AISI 304 austenitic stainless steel plates nitrided by plasma immersion ion implantation （PⅢ） technology were studied by means of Auger electron spectroscopy （AES） and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） to determine the effect of the nitriding process on the surface and subjacent layers. Elemental compositions obtained by AES and XPS at varying depths indicate that the saturation of N is relatively constant as a function of depth, indicating the reliability of PⅢ technology for substirface saturation. It is concluded that the concentrations of both Cr and O increase with depth, the subjacent oxide is driven by the Ar^＋ sputtering process used to access the lower layers, and then N is bound to Cr.

Plant Proteins Are Smaller Because They Are Encoded by Fewer Exons than Animal Proteins

Protein size is an important biochemical feature since longer proteins can harbor more domains and therefore can display more biological functionalities than shorter proteins. We found remarkable differences in protein length, exon structure, and domain count among different phylo- genetic lineages. While eukaryotic proteins have an average size of 472 amino acid residues （aa）, average protein sizes in plant genomes are smaller than those of animals and fungi. Proteins unique to plants are -81 aa shorter than plant proteins conserved among other eukaryotic lineages. The smaller average size of plant proteins could neither be explained by endosymbiosis nor subcellular compartmentation nor exon size, but rather due to exon number. Metazoan proteins are encoded on average by -10 exons of small size [-176 nucleotides （nt）]. Streptophyta have on average only -5.7 exons of medium size （-230 nt）. Multicellular species code for large proteins by increasing the exon number, while most unicellular organisms employ rather larger exons （〉 400 nt）. Among subcellular compartments, membrane proteins are the largest （-520 aa）, whereas the smallest proteins correspond to the gene ontology group of ribosome （-240 aa）. Plant genes are encoded by half the number of exons and also contain fewer domains than animal proteins on average. Interestingly, endosymbiotic proteins that migrated to the plant nucleus became larger than their cyanobacterial orthologs. We thus conclude that plants have proteins larger than bacteria but smaller than animals or fungi. Compared to the average of eukaryotic species, plants have -34% more but -20% smaller proteins. This suggests that photosynthetic organisms are unique and deserve therefore special attention with regard to the evolutionary forces acting on their genomes and proteomes.

Effects of corn gluten feed inclusion at graded levels in a corn-soybean diet on the ileal and fecal digestibility of growing pigs

Background： This study aimed to determine the effect of the inclusion of corn gluten feed （CGF） on the apparent and standardized ileal digestibility of protein and amino acids and the apparent ileal and total tract digestibility of energy in growing pigs. The study was performed using 16 barrows （weight, 45.3 ±4.5 kg） that were fitted with a T cannula at the terminal ileum. There were four treatments： a corn-soybean diet without CGF and three corn-soybean diets containing increasing levels of CGF （65, 130, and 195 g/kg）. Data were analyzed according to a randomized complete block design, four blocks with four pigs each （one pig per treatment）. The trend of the response （linear or quadratic） was determined using orthogonal contrasts, and when a linear effect was determined, a linear equation was obtained. Results： The results showed that the inclusion up to 195 g/kg of CGF in the corn-soybean diet did not diminish the ileal digestibility （apparent and standardized） of protein and amino acids （P 〉 0.05）, except that of phenylalanine, cystine, and proline. A linear decrease （P 〈 0.05） per gram of CGF added to the diet in the apparent and standardized ileal digestibility of phenylalanine （0.011 and 0.015 percentage units, respectively）, cystine （0.048 and 0.043 percentage units, respectively）, and proline （0.045 and 0.047 percentage units, respectively） was noted. Similarly, ileal digestibility of dry matter and energy were adversely affected （reduced by 0.028 and 0.025 percentage units, respectively, per gram of CGF increment in the diet）. A significant （P 〈 0.05） linear reduction in total tract digestibility with increase in CGF amount in the diet was observed for energy （0.027 percentage units）, dry matter （0.027 percentage units）, crude protein （0.020 percentage units）, and neutral detergent fiber （0.041 percentage units） per gram of CGF added to the diet. During vertebrate development,the immune function is inefficient and is mainly controlled by innate *** there have been detailed studies of various aspects of innate immune function,the effects of this function in the growth of vertebrates is still not well ***,there is little information regarding how early endotoxin exposure would affect juvenile phenotypes,specifically in a non-model mammal like a precocial *** evaluated the response to an antigen and its cost in offspring of the rodent Octodon *** inoculated pups at 4 different ages(8,15,22 and 30 days after birth)with an antigen to determine the ontogeny and costs of the response to an *** assessed changes in body mass,body temperature,sickness behavior and the levels of a key mediator of the inflammatory response,the cytokine interleukin-1β.We also determined the effects of early endotoxin exposure on the resting metabolic rate of juvenile animals(i.e.90 days after birth).The cytokine levels,body mass and body temperature were unaffected by time of inoculation and ***,pups subjected to inoculation at 22 days after birth with the antigen showed reduced loco*** resting metabolic rate was not affected by early endotoxin *** results suggest that the magnitude of *** responses would not change with *** discuss whether the lack of effect of the response on body mass or body condition is caused by environmental variables or by the precocial characteristics of ***.

The shape memory effect and nanoindentation response of various phases of sputtered NiTi shape memory thin films were investigated as a function of *** phase transformation temperatures of NiTi films were observed to be sensitive to a compositional *** mechanical properties of NiTi thin films also presented a significant response to phase *** the same load,the maximum indentation depth for austenite is smaller than for martensite,indicating that martensite is softer than austenite.A martensite thin film was converted to austenite via in situ heating nanoindentation and displayed the mechanical properties similar to the austenite film at room *** results underscore the validity of elevated temperature nanoindentation methods as a means of interrogating the mechanical properties of materials that undergo thermally-induced phase *** details of the load–displacement curves are also described.
