印度芥菜（Brassica juncea（L.）Czern＆Coss.）容易受到多种病害的为害,如黑斑病、白锈病、霜霉病和白粉病。抗性的生化基础研究清楚地表明酚类物质的含量对于提高植物的抗性水平很重要。因此,本研究采用了来自不同遗传背景的印度芥菜亲本的3个杂交组合为材料,研究了酚类物质含量的基因型效应。研究采用了RH8113×RC781（R×R）、UdN69×RH9624（R×S）和Varuna×Sarita（S×S）3个杂交组合的6个世代材料（P1、P2、F1、F2、B1和B2）。分别在正常（E1:10月21日）和迟播（E2:11月23日）两种环境条件下,对不同世代杂交后代进行了评价,紧密家系区组设计（compact family block design）,3次重复,试验在希萨尔的CCS哈里亚纳农业大学植物育种系的研究地内进行。不管亲本是否抗白锈病,播种后35天和播种后65天的植株中酚类物质的含量,均以E1环境下高于E2环境下。抗病品种酚类物质的含量高于感病品种。感病后,感病品种与抗病品种相比,酚类物质含量表现出了大幅度的下降,说明感病后能否保持高水平的酚类物质含量对于产生抗白锈病性更为重要。在本研究中的大部分杂交组合中,酚类物质的含量受到加性效应及非加性效应以及上位性效应的控制。根据本研究的结果,我们主张在分离群体中进行群内杂交,将有助于负责控制酚类物质含量的等位基因的累积。上位性效应的存在说明,为了提高酚类物质的含量,应当在高分离世代中进行目标性状的选择。

Activator protein-1(AP-1)transcription factor is a key component of many signal transduction pathways involved in the regulation of cellular processes and controls rapid responses of mammalian cells when exposed to the variety of *** phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate and Forskolin(Fo)are well-known kinase activators/stimulators of Protein Kinase C(PKC)and Protein Kinase A(PKA)***,these kinases are found to be present in transitional points of many cell signaling pathways,especially those involved in *** stimulating effect of PKC and PKA on the expression of AP-1 factors in MCF-7 breast cell proliferation is not well ***,the role of PKC by PMA treatment and the role of PKA by using Fo in MCF-7 cells is ***,cells treated with PMA showed increased cell proliferation,while Fo had no effect,but inhibited the PMA induced *** RT-PCR results showed the PMA induced c-Jun,c-Fos and Fra-1 expressions compared to control and ***,Fo in combination with PMA,inhibit the PMA induced above mRNA expressions where Fo alone has no *** blot studies validated the c-Jun expressions in PMA treated MCF-7 ***,PMA increases the mRNA expression of Cyclin-E1,Cyclin-d1,and CdK-4,whereas Fo decreases their ***,mitogenic effect of PMA and inhibitory action of Fo on MCF-7 cells is probably enhanced via activation of AP-1 factors and concomitant action of cell cycle regulators in the downstream singling cascade.

成年动物中枢神经系统中的NG2细胞具有异质性。脊髓损伤(SCI)后,具有少突胶质前体细胞(OPCs)功能的NG2细胞亚型如何产生反应性变化及对其正常的发育过程有何影响目前还不清楚。本文采用少突胶质细胞系细胞表达EGFP的CNP-EGFP小鼠,研究正常和SCI后的NG2细胞的特征。在正常小鼠的白质中,对EGFP+NG2+双极细胞和EGFPnegNG2+多极细胞进行鉴别。SCI后,白质损伤边缘区中的EGFP+NG2+细胞3 d增殖达高峰,损伤中心区的EGFPnegNG2+细胞增殖在损伤后7 d达高峰。损伤后EGFP+NG2+细胞的Olig2、Sox10、Sox17等转录因子、基本的膜电生理参数以及钾电流表型均与发育过程增殖的OPCs一致。EGFPnegNG2+细胞不表达少突胶质发生中的转录因子。EGFP+CC1+少突胶质细胞6周时包含在EGFP+NG2+细胞增殖峰时表达BrdU的细胞。EGFPnegCC1+少突胶质细胞未被观察到。神经胶质生长因子2和成纤维细胞生长因子2处理促进少突胶质发生,提高EGFPnegNG2+细胞数量。因此,通过EGFP和转录因子表达,时空增殖类型及对生长因子的反应,两种类型的NG2+细胞对SCI刺激发生反应。SCI后EGFP+NG2+细胞经受细胞和生理变化特征,与在早期出生后的少突胶质发生过程中NG2+细胞中的变化类似。

Fibrogenesis imperfecta ossium is a rare disorder of bone usually characterized by marked osteopenia and associated with variable osteoporosis and osteosclerosis, changing over time. Histological examination shows that newly formed collagen is abnormal, lacking birefringence when examined by polarized light. The case presented demonstrates these features and, in addition, a previously undocumented finding of a persistent marked reduction of the serum C3 and C4. Osteoblasts established in culture from a bone biopsy showed abnormal morphology on electron microscopy and increased proliferation when cultured with benzoylbenzoyl-ATP and 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin d, contrasting with findings in normal osteoblasts in culture. A gene microarray study showed marked upregulation of the messenger RNA(mRNA) for G-protein-coupled receptor 128(GPR 128), an orphan receptor of unknown function and also of osteoprotegerin in the patient's osteoblasts in culture. When normal osteoblasts were cultured with the patient's serum, there was marked upregulation of the mRNA for aquaporin 1. A single pathogenetic factor to account for the features of this disorder has not been defined, but the unique findings described here may facilitate more definitive investigation of the abnormal bone cell function.

A series of substituted 2,7-dimethylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxamides derivatives 5a-5m were synthesized through multi-step reactions. To achieve the synthesis of the desired compounds monobromo and dibromo substituted 2-amino-γ-picoline was reacted with ethyl 2-chloroacetoacetate. The crude ethyl ester subjected to hydrolysis in presence of lithium hydroxide to get 2a and 2b, with imidazo[1,2-a]pyri- dine-3-carboxylic acid to get 3a-3b, on treatment with substituted amines 4a-4g to get desired product 5a-5m in presence of EdCI and HOBt. The substituted imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxamides are characterized by FTIR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and mass spectra. These newly synthesized compounds were tested in vitro for their antimycobacterial activity. The preliminary results of antituberculosis study showed that most of the synthesized compounds 5a-5m demonstrated moderate to good antituberculosis activity. Among the tested compounds 5b, 5d and 5e were found to be the most active with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 12.5 μg/mL against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (H37 RV strain) ATCC No-27294.

Interlaminar shear properties of the fibre reinforced polymer composites are very important in many structured applications. It has been reported that interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) of fibre reinforced polymer composites may be improved by the modification of the matrix. In this paper, diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (dGEBA)/triethylene tetramine (TETA) system is used as the starting epoxy matrix. Alumina nanoparticles are employed to modify the epoxy matrix at various concentrations. Unmodified and modified epoxy resins are used along with unidirectional glass fibres for fabricating composite laminates by vaccum bagging method. The interlaminar shear strength of the glass fibre reinforced composites is investigated and the results indicate that introduction of the alumina nanoparticles enhances the ILSS. In particular, the addition of 0.8 wt% alumina nanoparticles leads to maximum enhancement in the ILSS;however, there is a decrease in the value with further addition. The dispersion of alumina nanoparticles and the fracture surfaces of the fibre reinforced composites are examined by the scanning electron microscope. The graphs are employed to explain the results.

Crigler Najjar syndrome is associated with indirect hyperbilirubinemia due to a deficiency of enzyme Uridine di Phospho Glucoronosyl Transferase(UdPGT).Presented here is a case of a female in the first trimester of pregnancy,who was diagnosed to have type 2 Crigler Najjar *** also discuss the management of this rare disease especially in *** bilirubin can cross the placental barrier causing neuro-logical damage in the *** was carefully monitored during pregnancy and treatment with pheno-barbitone in low doses was adjusted such that the serum bilirubin levels were below 10 mg/d *** Najjar syndrome being rare needs to be diagnosed early in pregnancy to avoid adverse fetal *** being an inducer of enzyme UdPGT is used as the first line of treatment and is not teratogenic in the low doses *** protocol followed was on the basis of previous reported cases and successful perinatal outcome was achieved.

为了减少因驾驶员的生理和心理健康状况变化引发的交通事故,实现对驾驶员健康状态的自动监测和实时优化,提出以控制论的基本理论为基础的驾驶员健康状态闭环反馈系统框架.首先基于驾驶员日志建立个性化健康模型;然后结合各种传感器实时采集的驾驶员、车辆和道路环境等多模态数据,对驾驶员当前健康状态进行估计;最后针对预设健康目标,为驾驶员提供可执行的行为建议,实现对驾驶员健康状态的导航优化.在最关键的实时监测环节,提出基于注意力的卷积神经网络(convolutional neural network,CNN)-长短期记忆网络(long short term memory,LSTM)的多模态融合模型,实现对驾驶员压力、情绪和疲劳3个方面的健康状态估计.在私有数据集和公开数据集上分别开展的实验验证均获得高于90%的检测准确率.实验结果表明,提出的模型和方法可以实时准确监测驾驶员的压力、情绪和疲劳状态,为实现驾驶员的个性化健康导航系统提供有力支撑.

Sensing the Moisture Content of dry Cherries—A Rapid and Nondestructive Method

Impedance (Z), and phase angle (θ) of a parallel-plate capacitor with a single cherry fruit between the plates were measured using a CI meter (Chari’s Impedance meter), at 1 and 9 MHz. Capacitance C was derived from Z and θ, and by using the C, θ, and Z values of a set of cherries whose moisture content (MC) values were later determined by the hot air-oven method, a calibration equation was developed. Using this equation, and their measured C, θ, and Z values, the MC of a group of cherries, not used in the calibration, was predicted. The predicted values were compared with their vacuum-oven values. The method worked well with an R2 value of 0.98 and a standard error of prediction (SEP) of 1.24, in the measured moisture range between 5% and 20%.
