Diversification of primary gene pool through introgression of resistance to foliar diseases from synthetic amphidiploids to cultivated groundnut(Arachis hypogaea L.)

Groundnut(Arachis hypogaea L.)is widely grown and consumed around the world and is considered to have originated from a single hybridization event between two wild *** utilization of wild germplasm in breeding programs has been restricted by reproductive barriers between wild and cultivated species and technical difficulties in making large numbers of *** to overcome these hurdles have resulted in the development of synthetic amphidiploids,namely IsATGR 278-18(Arachis duranesis×Arachis batizocoi)and IsATGR 5B(Arachis magna×***),which possess several desirable traits,including resistance to foliar diseases that generally cause huge yield losses annually in groundnut growing areas of Asia,America,and *** an objective to improve foliar disease resistance,the primary gene pool was diversified by introgressing foliar disease resistance in five cultivated genotypes(ICGV 91114,ICGs 76,ICGV 91278,JL 24,and DH 86)from synthetic amphidiploids using a backcross breeding *** introgression lines with resistance to two foliar diseases(rust and late leaf spot)were identified with levels of resistance equal to the *** backcross derived lines have shown a wide range of variation for several morphological and agronomic *** lines,after further evaluation and selection,can serve as donors in future breeding programs aimed atdeveloping improved cultivars with desirable agronomic traits,high resilience to biotic/abiotic stresses and a broadened genetic base.

The rapid growth of machine learning(ML)across fields has intensified the challenge of selecting the right algorithm for specific tasks,known as the Algorithm selection Problem(AsP).Traditional trial-and-error methods have become impractical due to their resource *** Machine Learning(AutoML)systems automate this process,but often neglect the group structures and sparsity in meta-features,leading to inefficiencies in algorithm recommendations for classification *** paper proposes a meta-learning approach using Multivariate sparse Group Lasso(MsGL)to address these *** method models both within-group and across-group sparsity among meta-features to manage high-dimensional data and reduce multicollinearity across eight meta-feature *** Fast Iterative shrinkage-Thresholding Algorithm(FIsTA)with adaptive restart efficiently solves the non-smooth optimization *** validation on 145 classification datasets with 17 classification algorithms shows that our meta-learning method outperforms four state-of-the-art approaches,achieving 77.18%classification accuracy,86.07%recommendation accuracy and 88.83%normalized discounted cumulative gain.

The thermal nanofluids have garnered widespread attention for their use in multiple thermal systems, including heating processes, sustainable energy, and nuclear reactions. Research on nanofluids has revealed that the thermal efficiencies of such materials are adversely affected by various thermal features. The purpose of the current work is to demonstrate the thermal analysis of Jeffrey nanofluids with the suspension of microorganisms in the presence of variable thermal sources. The variable effects of thermal conductivity, Brownian diffusivity, and motile density are utilized. The investigated model also reveals the contributions of radiation phenomena and chemical reactions. A porous, saturated, moving surface with a suction phenomenon promotes flow. The modeling of the problem is based on the implementation of the Cattaneo-Christov *** convective thermal constraints are used to promote the heat transfer features. A simplified form of the governing model is treated with the assistance of a shooting technique. The physical effects of different parameters for the problem are presented. The current problem justifies its applications in heat transfer, coating processes, heat exchangers, cooling systems in microelectronics, solar systems, chemical processes, etc.

sixth hour transcutaneous bilirubin predicting significant hyperbilirubinemia in ABO incompatible neonates

Correlation of cardiac troponin T levels with inotrope requirement,hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy,and survival in asphyxiated neonates

BACKGROUND Cardiac involvement in neonates with perinatal asphyxia not only complicates perinatal management but also contributes to increased *** To assess cardiac troponin T(cTnT)levels in asphyxiated neonates and their correlation with echocardiography findings,inotrope requirement,hypoxicischemic encephalopathy(HIE)stages,and *** cTnT levels,echocardiographic findings,the requirement of inotropes,HIE stages,and outcome were studied in neonates of gestational age≥34 wk with perinatal *** Among 57 neonates with perinatal asphyxia,male gender,cesarean section,forceps/vacuum-assisted vaginal delivery and late preterm included 33(57.9%),23(40.4%),3(5.3%),and 12(21.1%)*** mean gestational age was 38.4 wk(1.6 wk).HIE stages I,II,and III were observed in 7(12.3%),37(64.9%),and 9(15.8%)neonates respectively.26(45.6%)neonates had echocardiographic changes and 19(33.3%)required *** levels were elevated in 41(71.9%)neonates[median(IQR);0.285(0.211-0.422)ng/mL].The Median cTnT level showed an increasing trend with increasing changes in echocardiography(P=0.002).Two neonates with mitral regurgitation and global hypokinesia had the highest cTnT levels(1.99 and 0.651 ng/mL).Of 31 neonates with normal echocardiography,18(58.06%)showed elevated *** levels were significantly higher in those who required inotropic support than those who did not(P=0.007).Neonates with HIE stage III had significantly higher cTnT levels compared to those with HIE stage I/II(P=0.013).survivors had lower median cTnT levels[0.210(0.122-0.316)ng/mL]than who succumbed[0.597(0.356-1.146)ng/mL].CONCLUsION cTnT levels suggestive of cardiac involvement were observed in 71.9%of asphyxiated *** levels correlated with echocardiography findings,inotrope requirement,HIE stages,and mortality.
