In liver cirrhosis patients,acute kidney injury(AKI)is a common and severe complication associated with significant morbidity and mortality,often leading to chronic kidney disease(CKD).This progression reflects a complex interplay of renal and hepatic pathophysiology,with AKI acting as an initiator through maladaptive repair *** mechanisms—such as tubular cell cycle arrest,inflammatory cascades,and fibrotic processes—are exacerbated by the hemodynamic and neurohormonal disturbances characteristic of *** AKI episodes,persistent kidney dysfunction or acute kidney disease(AKD)often serves as a bridge to *** represents a critical phase in renal deterioration,characterized by prolonged kidney injury that does not fully meet CKD criteria but exceeds the temporal scope of *** progression from AKD to CKD is further influenced by recurrent AKI episodes,impaired renal autoregu-lation,and systemic comorbidities such as diabetes and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease,which compound kidney *** clinical management of AKI and CKD in cirrhotic patients requires a multidimensional approach that includes early identification of kidney injury,the application of novel biomarkers,and precision *** evidence underscores the inadequacy of traditional biomarkers in predicting the AKI-to-CKD progression,necessitating novel biomarkers for early detection and intervention.

Diets containing high proportions of fruits and vegetables reduce the risk of onset of chronic diseases. The role of herbal medicines in improving human health is gaining popularity over the years, which also increases the need for safety and efficiency of these products. Green leafy vegetables （GLVs） are the richest source of phenolic compounds with excellent antioxidant properties. Increased consumption of diets containing phenolic compounds may give positive and better results to human health and significantly improves the immune system. Highly selective, susceptible and versatile analytical techniques are necessary for extraction, identifica- tion, and quantification of phenolic compounds from plant extracts, which helps to utilize their important biological properties. Recent advances in the pre-treatment procedures, separation techniques and spectro- metry methods are used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of phenolic compounds. The online coupling of liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry （LC-MS） has become a useful tool in the metabolic profiling of plant samples. In this review, the separation and identification of phenolic acids and flavonoids from GLVs by LC-MS have been discussed along with the general extraction procedures and other sources of mass spectrometer used. The review is devoted to the understanding of the structural configuration, nature and accumulation pattern of phenolic acids and flavonoids in plants and to highlighting the recent developments in the chemical investigation of these compounds by chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques. It concludes with the advantages of the combination of these two methods and prospects.

We deal with the solutions to the radial Schr(o)dinger equation for the Coulomb perturbed potential in Ndimensional Hilbert space by using two methods,*** power series technique via a suitable ansatz to the wavefunction and the Virial *** expressions for eigenvalues and normalized eigenfunctions are derived.A recursion relation among series expansion coefficients,a condition for convergence of series and interdimensional degeneracies are also *** special cases,the problem is solved in 3 and 4 dimensions with some specific parameter *** obtained analytical and numerical results are in good agreement with the results of other studies.

A response surface method was used to optimize the purification and concentration of gluconic acid from fermentation broth using an integrated membrane system. Gluconobacter oxydans was used for the bioconversion of the glucose in sugarcane juice to gluconic acid (concentration 45 g·L^-1) with a yield of 0.9 g·g^-1. The optimum operating conditions, such as trans-membrane pressure (TMP), pH, cross-flow rate (CFR) and initial gluconic acid concentration, were determined using response surface methodology. Five different types of polyamide nanofiltration membranes were screened and the best performing one was then used for downstream purification of gluconic acid in a flat sheet cross-flow membrane module. Under the optimum conditions (TMP=12 bar and CFR=400 L·h^-1), this membrane retained more than 85% of the unconverted glucose from the fermentation broth and had a gluconic acid permeation rate of 88% with a flux of 161 L·m^-2·h^-1. Using response surface methods to optimize this green nanofiltration process is an effective way of controlling the production of gluconic acid so that an efficient separation with high flux is obtained.

Here an asymptotic study to the N-dimensional radial Schrdinger equation for the quark-antiquark interaction potential employing asymptotic iteration method via an ansatz to the wavefunction is carried out. The complete energy spectra of the consigned system is obtained by computing and adding energy eigenvalues for ground state, for large " r" and for small " r". From this analysis, the mass spectra of heavy quarkonia is derived in three dimensions. Our analytical and numerical results are in good correspondence with other experimental and theoretical studies.

Background The impact of changing land-use patterns and associated anthropogenic threats on scale-dependent habitat use of semi-aquatic mustelids in scent-marking and social behaviour can provide important insights into the habitat ecology of smooth-coated otters(Lutrogale perspicillata).Methods We sampled 180 stream segments(100–400 m) as spatial replicates of 60 1-km2 sites to record indirect evidence(i.e. spraints and mass latrine sites) and group sizes of smooth-coated otters along the Tungabhadra Otter Conservation Reserve(TOCR) during the dry season. To quantify habitat, we recorded stream characteristics, riparian vegetation, and anthropogenic disturbances at the local scale, and hydro-environmental characteristics and land uses at the landscape scale. Using Markovian-chain detection and occupancy models, we assessed the multi-scale habitat use of otters in their selection of suitable areas for scent-marking based on repeated presence-absence data on spraint/latrine locations along the TOCR. We further used linear regression techniques to explore relationships between the number of individuals in smooth-coated otter group and hydro-environmental characteristics, spraint/latrine encounter rate, anthropogenic pressure, land cover, topography, and *** At the local scale, the probability of spraint deposition and group size decreased with anthropogenic disturbance while the probability of spraint detections decreased with grass cover. At the landscape scale, the probability of otter site use for spraint deposition and group sizes increased in southeast flowing streams.
