Analysis of Cognitive Radio for LTE and 5G Waveforms

Spectrum sensing is one of the major concerns in reaching an efficientQuality of service (QOS) in the advanced mobile communication system. Theadvanced engineering sciences such as 5G, device 2 device communications(D2D), Internet of things (IoT), MIMO require a large spectrum for better *** frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is not a choice in advancedradio due to the Cyclic Prefix (CP), wastage of the spectrum, and so on. Hence, itis important to explore the spectral efficient advanced waveform techniques andcombine a cognitive radio (CR) with the 5G waveform to sense the idle spectrum,which overcomes the spectrum issue. The demand for spectrum is ever increasing;however, spectrum is limited and is an acutely scarce resource. To alleviate theissue, techniques like Cognitive Radios (CR) have been devised. However, suchtechniques are non-standardized, and many variations of CR algorithms have beentried and tested. This paper details the several spectrum sensing methods tailoredfor CR. We explain the benefits, uniqueness, and drawbacks of the various techniques to provide a comprehensive review of the scene, including all recent andnovel techniques of CR. Finally, we provided experimental results for the performance of the CR for key 5G and beyond modulation techniques to elaborate thedependency of the CR techniques for CR applications and provide a competitivereview of their performance. Experiments show that the CR integrated withNOMA shows better performance as compared with existing techniques.

Double perovskite oxides,with generalized formula A_(2)BB'O_(6),attract wide interest due to their multiferroic and charge transfer *** offer a wide range of potential applications such as spintronics and electrically tunable ***,great practical limitations are encountered,since a spontaneous order of the B-site cations is notoriously hard to *** this joint experimental-theoretical work,we focused on the characterization of double perovskites La2TiFeO6 and La_(2)VCuO_(6) films grown by pulsed laser deposition and interpretation of the observed B-site disorder and partial charge transfer between the B-site ions.A random structure sampling method was used to show that several phases compete due to their corresponding configurational *** order to capture a representative picture of the most relevant competing microstates in realistic experimental conditions,this search included the potential formation of non-stoichiometric phases as well,which could also be directly related to the observed partial charge *** optimized the information encapsulated in the potential energy landscape,captured via structure sampling,by evaluating both enthalpic and entropic *** terms were employed as a metric for the competition of different *** approach,applied herein specifically to La_(2)TiFeO_(6),highlights the presence of highly entropic phases above the ground state which can explain the disorder observed frequently in the broader class of double perovskite oxides.

The ability to control magnetic vortex is critical for their potential applications in spintronic *** methods including magnetic field,spin-polarized current *** been used to flip the core and/or reverse circulation of ***,it is challenging for deterministic electric-field control of the single magnetic vortex textures with time-reversal broken symmetry and no planar magnetic *** it is reported that a deterministic reversal of single magnetic vortex circulation can be driven back and forth by a space-varying strain in multiferroic heterostructures,which is controlled by using a bi-axial pulsed electric ***-field simulation reveals the mechanism of the emerging magnetoelastic energy with the space variation and visualizes the reversal pathway of the *** deterministic electric-field control of the single magnetic vortex textures demonstrates a new approach to integrate the low-dimensional spin texture into the magnetoelectric thin film devices with low energy consumption.

Assessment of Recent Tectonic Activity along the Yamuna Basin, Garhwal Region, NW-Himalaya, India: Based on Morphotectonic Analysis

Decoupling between climate and tectonics, transform the elevation of earth surface regionally by denudation and displacement of land. To extract the tectonic footprints on morphology of landform, geormophometry is widely accepted tool due to visible responses in Drainage architecture to an intense tectonic environment. The present morphology of Yamuna basin in the Garhwal Himalaya, India is a result of continuing crustal deformation;erosion and deposition in the area. The drainage system and geomorphic expression of topography have been significantly influenced by active tectonics in this basin. In present study, for numerical modelling to detect the influence of tectonic signals on landform, we used morphotectonic parameters, to gradient index (SL), valley floor height to width ratio (Vf), asymmetry factor (Af), basin shape index (BS) and hypsometric integral (HI), extracted from SRTM DEM with resolution of 30 m. All these morphotectonic parameters are integrated to produce an index of relative active tectonics (IRAT). The Yamuna basin is classified into three groups based on IRAT, very high (2.25) based on the degree of tectonic activity. Result shows approx. 56% of Yamuna basin experience high tectonic activity. This along strike deformation pattern pronouncedly emulates subsurface geometry based tectonic model.
