Recent advances in scanning transm.ssion electron m.croscopy(STEm.allow the real-tim. visualization of solid-state transform.tions in m.terials,including those induced by an electron beam.and tem.erature,with atom.c ***,despite the ever-expanding capabilities for high-resolution data acquisition,the inferred inform.tion about kinetics and therm.dynam.cs of the process,and single defect dynam.cs and interactions is *** is due to the inherent lim.tations of m.nual ex situ analysis of the collected volum.s of *** circum.ent this problem.we developed a deep-learning fram.work for dynam.c STEm.im.ging that is trained to find the lattice defects and apply it for m.pping solid state reactions and transform.tions in layered WS_(2).The trained deep-learning m.del allows extracting thousands of lattice defects from.raw STEm.data in a m.tter of seconds,which are then classified into different categories using unsupervised clustering *** further expanded our fram.work to extract param.ters of diffusion for sulfur vacancies and analyzed transition probabilities associated with switching between different configurations of defect com.lexes consisting of m. dopant and sulfur vacancy,providing insight into pointdefect dynam.cs and *** approach is universal and its application to beam.induced reactions allows m.pping chem.cal transform.tion pathways in solids at the atom.c level.

Developm.nt and Validation of Stability Indicating LC m.thod for 10-Hydroxycam.tothecin

The present m.thod gives a detailed description for the developm.nt and validation of a sim.le stability indicating reverse phase liquid chrom.tographic m.thod for 10-hydroxycam.tothecin(10-HCTN) in the presence of its im.urities nam.ly Im. A and Im. B along with degradation products generated from.forced degradation studies. The drug was subjected to stress conditions of hydrolysis (acid, base and neutral), oxidative, photolytic and therm.l stress degradation. Degradation was observed when subjected to treatm.nt with peroxides or under conditions norm.lly used for typical acid and base hydrolysis. The drug was found to be stable under other stress conditions attem.ted such as photolytic and therm.l. Successful separation and isolation of the drug from.related im.urities and degradation products form.d under stress conditions was achieved on an Inertsil ODS-3V (250 m. × 4.6 m., 5 μm. colum. using a phosphate buffer, acetonitrile, m.thanol and Nanopure water. The developed HPLC m.thod was validated with respect to specificity, linearity, accuracy, precision, sensitivity, robustness and solution stability. The assay m.thod was found to be linear in the range of 0.16 m./m. to 0.24 m./m. with a correlation coefficient of 0.999 and the linearity of the im.urities was established from.0.02% (LOQ) to 0.3%. Recoveries of assay and im.urities were found between 99.4% and 100.3%. The developed HPLC m.thod can be used to determ.ne the related substances and assay determ.nations of 10-HCTN and also to evaluate the quality and long term.stability of production sam.les.

The present work discusses the derivation of the form.la for the change in energy of non-spinning black holes with respect to the change in m.ss (dE/dm., which gives a constant quantity equal to 8.9998 x 1016 Joule/kg in both categories of X-ray binaries (XRBs) and Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN). This form.la can be used to justify the life tim. of black hole given by Γ = 2.098(m.m.)3 x 1067 years as proposed by Stephen Hawking, where m.and m. are the m.ss of the black hole and the sun respectively. The authors also calculate the change in energy and m.ss of non-spinning black holes with respect to the change in the radius of event horizon as well as (dE/dm. for different test non-spinning black holes in X-ray binaries (XRBs) and Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN).

AIm. To identify the prevalence of pre-S2 start codon m.tations and to assess their association with liver disease progression. m.THODS: The m.tations were identified by direct sequencing from.73 asym.tom.tic carriers, 66 chronic hepatitis (CH), 66 liver cirrhosis (LC) and 63 hepatocellular carcinom. (HCC) patients. Statistical significances were determ.ned using Fisher's exact test, χ 2 test, and t -test analyses whenever appropriate. Pre-S m.tation as a risk factor for advanced liver disease was estim.ted by unconditional logistic regression m.del adjusted with age, sex, and hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg). P m.tation of the hepatitis B virus (HBV) pre-S2 start codon was found in 59 sam.les from.268 subjects (22.0%), with higher prevalence in patients with cirrhosis 27/66 (40.9%) followed by HCC 18/63 (28.6%), chronic hepatitis 12/66 (18.2%) and asym.tom.tic carriers 2/73 (2.7%) (P m.tation was an independent factor for progressive liver disease. Other m.tations, at T130, Q132, and A138, were also associated with LC and HCC, although this was not statistically significant when adjusted for age, sex, and HBeAg. The prevalence of pre-S2 start codon m.tation was higher in HBV/B than in HBV/C (23.0% vs 19.1%), whilst the prevalence of T130, Q132, and A138 m.tation was higher in HBV/C than in HBV/B. The prevalence of pre-S2 start codon m.tation was higher in LC (38.9%) and HCC (40.0%) than CH (5.6%) in HBeAg(+) group, but it was sim.lar between CH, LC and HCC in HBeAg(-) group. CONCLUSION: Pre-S2 start codon m.tation was higher in Indonesian patients com.ared to other Asian countries, and its prevalence was associated with advanced liver disease, particularly in HBeAg(+) patients.

Ovine pulm.nary adenocarcinom. (OPA) caused by an exogenous Jaagsiekte sheep retrovirus (JSRV) is prevalent in Indian sheep. In the present study, OPA was diagnosed in sheep by clinical signs, gross and histopathology and polym.rase chain reaction (PCR). Proviral DNA of exogenous JSRV was detected in lung tum.r tissues, m.diastinal lym.h nodes, blood and lung fluid sam.les from.natural cases of OPA by using U3-hn PCR and the PCR am.licons were sequenced to analyze nucleotide divergence. In total, six isolates were sequenced that had 96% - 100% hom.logy with a UK strain (AF105220.1) but m.re divergent from.a South African strain (m.0216) with 88% - 93% identity. The phylogenetic analysis revealed segregation of the six isolates into two clusters. In conclusion, this study is the first report on sequencing and phylogenetic analysis of JSRV in India and further studies are suggested to know the com.lete sequencing and genetic divergence of JSRV in Indian sheep.

Tim. series m.asurem.nts (2010–2017) from.the Research m.ored Array for African–Asian–Australian m.nsoon Analysis and Prediction (rama) m.orings at 15°N,90°E and 12°N,90°E are used to investigate the effect of the seasonal barrier layer (BL) on the m.xed-layer heat budget in the Bay of Bengal (BoB).The m.xed-layer tem.erature tendency (?T/?t) is prim.rily controlled by the net surface heat flux that rem.ins in the m.xed layer(Q’) from.m.rch to October,while both Q’and the vertical heat flux at the base of the m.xed layer (Q_(h)),estim.ted as the residual of the m.xed-layer heat budget,dom.nate during winter (Novem.er–February).An inverse relation is observed between the BL thickness and the m.xed-layer tem.erature (m.T).Based on the estim.tions at the m.orings,it is suggested that when the BL thickness is≥25 m.it exerts a considerable influence on ?T/?t through the m.dulation of Q_(h) (warm.ng) in the *** cooling associated with Q_(h) is strongest when the BL thickness is≤10 m.with the m.T exceeding 29°C,while the contribution from.Q_(h) rem.ins nearly zero when the BL thickness varies between 10 m.and 25 *** inversion is evident in the BoB during winter when the BL thickness rem.ins≥25 m.with an average m.Trama m.oring locations,with r>0.72 at the 95%significance level.

The VTLLS m.croscopy studies were m.de on high purity gold and com.ercial grade zinc grains in a tem.erature range of 30-230?C. Differential area ω and surface activity Sa were estim.ted from.photom.crographs. The ω vs dT/dt (rate of heating) curve was seen to differ from.those of silver and titanium. The nature of curve between norm.lized ω and dT/dt was seen to be non-exponential. The characteristic relation between sectorized differential area ωsec and m.an tem.erature was exam.ned. The present study further establishes the sim.licity and versatility of the VTLLS technique, in studying the defect-sub-structure of m.tal particles such as Au and Zn in presence of an im.osed tem.erature gradient in a reasonable way. As such an attem.t was m.de to connect the ω and defect-sub-structure related param.ters.

Genom. engineering for m.terials synthesis is a prom.sing avenue for m.nufacturing m.terials with unique properties under am.ient *** in diatom.,unicellular algae that use silica to construct m.cron-scale cell walls with nanoscale features,is an attractive candidate for functional synthesis of m.terials for applications including photonics,sensing,filtration,and drug ***,controllably m.difying diatom.structure through targeted genetic m.difications for these applications is a very prom.sing *** this work,we used gene knockdown in Thalassiosira pseudonana diatom. to create m.dified strains with changes to structural m.rphology and linked genotype to phenotype using supervised m.chine *** artificial neural network(NN)was developed to distinguish wild and m.dified diatom. based on the SEm.im.ges of frustules exhibiting phenotypic changes caused by a specific protein(Thaps3_21880),resulting in 94% detection *** activation m.ps visualized physical changes that allowed the NNs to separate diatom.strains,subsequently establishing a specific gene that controls pores.A further NN was created to batch process im.ge data,autom.tically recognize pores,and extract pore-related *** interrelationship of the extracted param.nts was visualized using a m.ltivariate data visualization tool,called CrossVis,and allowed to directly link changes in m.rphological diatom.phenotype of pore size and distribution with changes in the genotype.
