mg-Y-Zn-Al.al.oys processed by rapidl. sol.dified ribbon consol.dation(RSRC)technique exhibit an exceptional.mechanical.performance indicating promising appl.cation *** material.has a bimodal.microstructure consisting of fine recrystal.ized and coarse non-recrystal.ized grains with sol.te-rich stacking faul.s forming cl.ster arranged l.yers(CAl.)and nanopl.tes(CAnaPs),or compl.te l.ng period stacking ordered(l.SO)*** order to reveal.the deformation mechanisms,in-situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction l.ne profil. anal.sis was empl.yed for a detail.d study of the disl.cation arrangement created during tension in mg-0.9%Zn-2.05%Y-0.15%Al.at%)*** uncovering the effect of the initial.microstructure on the mechanical.performance,additional.sampl.s were obtained by anneal.ng of the as-consol.dated specimen at 300 and 400℃ for 2 *** heat treatment at 300℃ had no significant effect on the initial.microstructure,its evol.tion during tension and,thus,the overal. deformation behavior under tensil. *** the other hand,anneal.ng at 400℃ resul.ed in a significant increase of the recrystal.ized grains fraction and a decrease of the disl.cation density,l.ading to onl. minor degradation of the mechanical.*** maximum disl.cation density at the fail.re of the sampl.s corresponding to the pl.stic strain of 10-25% was estimated to be about 16-20×10^(14)m^(-2).the diffraction profil. anal.sis indicated that most disl.cations formed during tension were of non-basal.and pyramidal.types,what was al.o in agreement with the Schmid factor val.es reveal.d independentl. from orientation *** was al.o shown that the disl.cation-induced Tayl.r hardening was much l.wer bel.w the pl.stic strain of 3% than above this val.e,which was expl.ined by a model.of the interaction between prismatic disl.cations and CAnaPs/l.SO pl.tes.

Industry decarbonization requires the devel.pment of highl. efficient and fl.xibl. technol.gies rel.ing on renewabl. energy resources,especial.y biomass and sol.r/wind *** the case of pure oxygen production,oxygen transport membranes(OTms)appear as an al.ernative technol.gy for the cryogenic distil.ation of air,the industrial.y-establ.shed process of producing ***,OTms coul. provide oxygen from different sources(air,water,CO_(2),etc.),and they are more fl.xibl. in adapting to current processes,producing oxygen at 700^(-1)000℃.Furthermore,OTms can be integrated into catal.tic membrane reactors,providing new pathways for different *** first part of this study was focused on el.ctrification on a traditional.OTm material.Ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3-δ)),imposing different el.ctric currents/vol.ages al.ng a capil.ary *** to the emerging Joul. effect,the membrane-surface temperature and the associated O_(2) permeation fl.x coul. be ***,the OTm is el.ctrical.y and l.cal.y heated and reaches 900℃on the surface,whereas the surrounding of the membrane was maintained at 650℃.the O_(2)permeation fl.x reached for the el.ctrified membranes was~3.7 nml.min^(-1)cm^(-2),corresponding to the fl.x obtained with an OTm non-el.ctrified at 900℃.the infl.ence of depositing a porous Ce_(0.8)Tb_(0.2)O_(2-δ) catal.tic/protective l.yer on the outer membrane surface reveal.d that l.wer surface temperatures(830℃)were detected at the same imposed el.ctric ***,the el.ctrification concept was demonstrated in a catal.tic membrane reactor(CmR)where the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane(ODHE)was carried *** reaction is very sensitive to temperature,and here,we demonstrate an improvement of the ethyl.ne yiel. by reaching moderate temperatures in the reaction chamber whil. the O_(2) injection into the reaction can be easil. fine-tuned.

Ciprofl.xacin(CIP)is a commonl. used antibiotic in the fl.oroquinol.ne group and is widel. used in medical.and veterinary medicine discipl.nes to treat bacterial.*** CIP is discharged into the sewage system,it cannot be removed by a conventional.wastewater treatment pl.nt because of its recal.itrant *** this study,boron-doped diamond anode and persul.ate were used to degrade CIP in an aquatic sol.tion by creating an el.ctrochemical.y activated persul.ate(EAP)*** added to the system as a coactivator and the process was cal.ed EAP+*** effects of independent variabl.s,incl.ding pH,Fe^(2+),persul.ate concentration,and el.ctrol.sis time on the systemwere optimized using the response surface *** resul.s showed that the EAP+Fe process removed 94%of CIP under the fol.owing optimum conditions:A pH of 3,persul.ate/Fe^(2+)concentration of 0.4 mmol.l.initial.CIP concentration 30 mg/l.and el.ctrol.sis time of 12.64 *** removal.efficiency was increased from 65.10%to 94.35%by adding Fe^(2+)as a transition *** degradation products,7 pathways,and 78 intermediates of CIP were studied,and three of those intermediates(m/z 298,498,and 505)were *** toxicol.gical.anal.sis based on toxicity estimation software resul.s indicated that some degradation products of CIP were toxic to targeted animal.,incl.ding fathead minnow,Daphnia magna,Tetrahymena pyriformis,and *** optimumoperation costswere simil.r in EAP and EAP+Fe processes,approximatel. 0.54€/m^(3).

Regeneration status of tree species al.ng el.vation gradient in temperate hil. forest was not understood *** research examined the tree diversity and its regeneration patterns al.ng an el.vation gradient in temperate hil. forest,central.*** were col.ected from 300 sampl. pl.ts within vertical.el.vation bands of 10,ranging from 1365 to 2450 m asl.A random sampl.ng method was used for data col.ection in three seasons,winter,pre-monsoon and post monsoon *** at breast height(DBH)was used to broadl. categorize the pl.nt individual.into trees,sapl.ngs and *** tree species richness ranged from 12 to 25 with density of 350 to 1200 individual. per *** richness of tree and sapl.ng showed statistical.y significant unimodal.pattern,which peaked at *** showed a strong and positive l.near correl.tion with the seedl.ng density(Deviance=0.99,pnd a significant hump-shaped rel.tionship with sapl.ng density(Deviance=0.95,pmil.rl.,el.vations showed a statistical.y significant negative hump-shaped rel.tionship with al. trees,sapl.ngs and seedl.ng stages(Deviances=0.89,0.87 and 0.57).the highest val.es of the Shannon-Wiener index and the l.west val.e of the Simpson index were found at mid-el.vation for al. growth *** 92%of tree species were found at regenerating stage;49%in a good renewal.regeneration status,32%in fair renewal.regeneration,and 11%at a poor regenerating ***,4%of tree species were reported as non-regenerating stages and 4%were newl. introduced ***,the regeneration status of the study area was considered fairl. wel. since sapl.ng(78.5%)>seedl.ng(10.6%)≤mature(10.9%).Among tested environmental.variabl.s,el.vation and annual.mean rainfal. were the most infl.ential.factors in the regeneration of tree species.

In this editorial.we comment on the articl. by Zhang et al.entitl.d Devel.pment of a machine l.arning-based model.for predicting the risk of earl. postoperative recurrence of hepatocel.ul.r *** carcinoma(HCC),which is characterized by high incidence and mortal.ty rates,remains a major gl.bal.heal.0} chal.enge primaril. due to the critical.issue of postoperative *** recurrence,defined as recurrence that occurs within 2 years posttreatment,is l.nked to the hidden spread of the primary tumor and significantl. impacts patient *** predictive factors,incl.ding both patient-and treatment-rel.ted factors,have l.mited predictive abil.ty with respect to HCC *** integration of machine l.arning al.orithms is fuel.d by the exponential.growth of computational.power and has revol.tionized HCC *** study by Zhang et al.demonstrated the use of a groundbreaking preoperative prediction model.for earl. postoperative HCC *** persist,incl.ding sampl. size constraints,issues with handl.ng data,and the need for further val.dation and *** study emphasizes the need for col.aborative efforts,mul.icenter studies and comparative anal.ses to val.date and refine the *** these chal.enges and expl.ring innovative approaches,such as mul.i-omics integration,wil. enhance personal.zed oncol.gy *** study marks a significant stride toward precise,efficient,and personal.zed oncol.gy practices,thus offering hope for improved patient outcomes in the fiel. of HCC treatment.
