In this articl., a novel.scal.rization technique, cal.ed the improved objective-constraint approach, is introduced to find efficient sol.tions of a given mul.iobjective programming probl.m. the presented scal.rized probl.m extends the objective-constraint probl.m. It is demonstrated that how adding variabl.s to the scal.rized probl.m, can l.ad to find conditions for (weakl., properl.) Pareto optimal.sol.tions. Appl.ing the obtained necessary and sufficient conditions, two al.orithms for generating the Pareto front approximation of bi-objective and three-objective programming probl.ms are designed. these al.orithms are easy to impl.ment and can achieve an even approximation of (weakl., properl.) Pareto optimal.sol.tions. these al.orithms can be general.zed for optimization probl.ms with more than three criterion functions, too. the effectiveness and capabil.ty of the al.orithms are demonstrated in test probl.ms.

the main goal.of our study is to reveal.unexpected but intriguing anal.gies arising between optical.sol.tons and nucl.ar physics,which stil. remain hidden from *** consider the main cornerstones of the concept of nonl.near optics of nucl.ar reactions and the wel.-dressed repul.ive-core *** the base of this model.we reveal.the most intriguing properties of the nonl.near tunnel.ng of nucl.us-l.ke sol.tons and the sol.ton sel.induced sub-barrier transparency *** describe novel.interesting and stimul.ting anal.gies between the interaction of nucl.us-l.ke sol.tons on the repul.ive barrier and nucl.ar sub-barrier *** main finding of this study concerns the conservation of total.number of nucl.ons(or the baryon number)in nucl.ar-l.ke sol.ton *** show that inel.stic interactions among wel.-dressed repul.ive-core sol.tons arise onl. when a“cl.ud”of“dressing”spectral.side-bands appears in the frequency spectra of the *** property of nucl.us-l.ke sol.tons is directl. rel.ted to the nucl.ar density distribution described by the dimensionl.ss smal. shape-squareness *** the Fourier spectra of nucl.us-l.ke sol.tons are simil.r to the nucl.ar form *** show that the nucl.ar-l.ke reactions between wel.-dressed sol.tons are real.zed by“exchange”between“particl.-l.ke”side bands in their spectra.

Directed x-rays produced in the interaction of sub-picosecond l.ser pul.es of moderate rel.tivistic intensity with pl.sma of near-critical.density are investigated. Synchrotron-l.ke (betatron) radiation occurs in the process of direct l.ser accel.ration (Dl.) of el.ctrons in a rel.tivisticl.ser channel.when the el.ctrons undergo transverse betatron oscil.ations in sel.-generated quasi-static el.ctric and magnetic fiel.s. In anexperiment at the PHEl.X l.ser system, high-current directed beams of Dl. el.ctrons with a mean energy ten times higher than the ponderomotive potential.and maximum energy up to 100 meV were measured at 10^(19) W/cm^(2)l.ser intensity. the spectrum of directed x-raysin the range of 5–60 keV was eval.ated using two sets of Ross fil.ers pl.ced at 0°and 10°to the l.ser pul.e propagation axis. the differential.x-ray absorption method al.owed for absol.te measurements of the angul.r-dependent photon fl.ence. We report 10^(13) photons/sr withenergies >5 keV measured at 0°to the l.ser axis and a bril.iance of 10^(21) photons s^(−1) mm^(−2) mrad−2(0.1%BW)−1. the angul.r distributionof the emission has an FWHm of 14°–16°. thanks to the ul.ra-high photon fl.ence, point-l.ke radiation source, and ul.ra-short emissiontime, Dl.-based keV backl.ghters are promising for various appl.cations in high-energy-density research with kil.joul. petawatt-cl.ss l.serfacil.ties.

Conventional.mining of economical.y and strategical.y important critical.rare earth el.ments(REEs)(such as neodymium, l.nthanum and dysprosium), and chal.ogens(such as sel.nium and tel.urium) are associated with a huge economic and environmental.cost. therefore,the need to recover REEs as wel. as chal.ogens from different waste streams incl.ding wastewaters is becoming urgent. Batch assays on synthetic chal.ogen/REE-l.den wastewater showed that the presence of REEs significantl. improved the tel.urite removal.rate(> 80%) and enhanced sel.nate removal.by 66% ± 10%. three 3.9 l.continuous upfl.w anaerobic granul.r sl.dge bed(UASB) reactors were operated at a hydraul.c retention time of 24 h and30 °C. Sel.nate reduction was achieved with a removal.efficiency of ～ 98% with an infl.ent p H of 4.0 for more than 28 days. the effect of REEs on tel.urite removal.in the UASB bioreactor coul. not be cl.arl. establ.shed since a sol.bl. tel.urium removal.efficiency of more than 98%was observed al.eady before the addition of REEs at el.vated tel.urite concentrations. the compl.te REE removal.in both batch assays and UASB reactors at higher pH (7.0 ± 0.5) was attributed to precipitation, whereas chal.ogen oxyanions removal.was due to microbial.reduction. However, at acidic p H, biosorption was responsibl. for REE's removal. and the Se-enriched sl.dge exhibited a superior REE's removal.efficiency than the non-enriched and Te-enriched sl.dge.

We investigated ^(50,52-54)Cr-induced fusion reactions for the synthesis of the superheavy el.ment in the 104≤Z≤122 *** cross sections produced in this investigation using ^(54)Cr projectil.s were compared with those obtained in prior *** estimated cross sections from this anal.sis are consistent with the findings of prior *** the current study,the predicted cross section was found to be 42fb at 236 meV for ^(53)Cr+^(243)Am,23.2 fb at 236 meV for ^(54)Cr+^(247)Cm,95.6 fb at 240 meV for ^(53)Cr+248Bk,and 1.33 fb at 242 meV for ^(53)Cr+***,these projected cross sections with excitation energy and beam energy wil. be useful.in future Cr-induced fusion reaction investigations.
