A fluid-structure interaction approach is proposed in this paper based onNon-Ordinary State-Based Peridynamics(NOSB-PD)and Updated Lagrangian Particle Hydrodynamics(ULPH)to simulate the fluid-structure interaction problem w.th large geometric deformation and material failure and solve the fluid-structure interaction problem of New.onian *** the coupled framew.rk,the NOSB-PD theory describes the deformation and fracture of the solid material *** is applied to describe the flow.of New.onian fluids due to its advantages in computational *** framew.rk utilizes the advantages of NOSB-PD theory for solving discontinuous problems and ULPH theory for solving fluid problems,w.th good computational stability and robustness.A fluidstructure coupling algorithm using pressure as the transmission medium is established to deal w.th the fluidstructure *** dynamic model of solid structure and the PD-ULPH fluid-structure interaction model involving large deformation are verified by numerical *** results agree w.th the analytical solution,the available experimental data,and other numerical ***,the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method in solving the fluid-structure interaction problem are *** fluid-structure interactionmodel based on ULPH and NOSB-PD established in this paper provides a new.idea for the numerical solution of fluidstructure interaction and a promising approach for engineering design and experimental prediction.

Combination immunotherapy has show. promising potential for enhancing the objective response rate compared to immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)***,combination therapy w.th multi-drugs is limited by the different properties of the agents and inconsistent synergistic targeted ***,based on a universal triterpene template and the anticancer active agent ursolic acid(UA),a cytomembrane-coated biomimetic delivery nanoplatform(UR@M)prepared by the selfassembly of a PD-L1 targeted CRISPR/Cas9 system and UA w.s designed for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)***@M show.d enhanced tumor accumulation in vivo w.th homologous tumor targeting,and CRISPR in the nanosystem exhibited potent gene-editing efficiency of 76.53% in vitro and 62.42% in vivo w.th no off-target *** activated the natural immune system through the TLR-2-MyD88-TRAF6 pathw.y,w.ich synergistically enhanced the proliferation of natural killer cells and dendritic cells and realized excellent immune cytotoxic T cell infiltration by combining w.th the ICB of *** strategy of w.rk along both lines based on innate immune and adaptive immunity displayed a significant effect in tumor ***,the UA-templated strategy“killed three birds w.th one stone”by establishing a self-assembly nanosystem,inducing tumor cell death,and promoting synergistic immunostimulation for HCC treatment.

A survey on model-based reinforcement learning

Reinforcement learning(RL) interacts w.th the environment to solve sequential decision-making problems via a trial-and-error approach. Errors are alw.ys undesirable in real-w.rld applications, even though RL excels at playing complex video games that permit several trial-and-error attempts. To improve sample efficiency and thus reduce errors, model-based reinforcement learning(MBRL) is believed to be a promising direction, as it constructs environment models in w.ich trial-and-errors can occur w.thout incurring actual costs. In this survey, w. investigate MBRL w.th a particular focus on the recent advancements in deep RL. There is a generalization error betw.en the learned model of a non-tabular environment and the actual environment. Consequently, it is crucial to analyze the disparity betw.en policy training in the environment model and that in the actual environment, guiding algorithm design for improved model learning, model utilization, and policy training. In addition, w. discuss the recent developments of model-based techniques in other forms of RL, such as offline RL, goal-conditioned RL, multi-agent RL, and meta-RL. Furthermore,w. discuss the applicability and benefits of MBRL for real-w.rld tasks. Finally, this survey concludes w.th a discussion of the promising future development prospects for MBRL. w. believe that MBRL has great unrealized potential and benefits in real-w.rld applications, and w. hope this survey w.ll encourage additional research on MBRL.

Synthesis and Enhanced Acetone-sensing Properties of Ordered Large-pore Mesoporous Nickel Oxides w.th Ultrathin Crystalline Framew.rks

Acetone is a tracer for monitoring air quality and a potential breath maker for diabetes. It remains a great challenge for current portable sensors to sensitively and selectively detect acetone at low.ppb (part per billion) level. Herein, w. present an ordered mesoporous nickel oxide (NiO) w.th both large mesopores and ultrathin crystalline framew.rks for the detection of low.ppb acetone. The ordered mesoporous NiO replicas w.th predominant large mesopores of 11 nm, high specific surface areas of 121–128 m2/g and ultrathin crystalline framew.rks of 5 nm w.re synthesized by the nanocasting method and the crystalline properties of NiO framew.rks w.re adjusted by changing the annealing temperature from 300℃ to 750℃, w.ich resulted in different contents of oxygen deficient on the surface of ultrathin framew.rks. The gas-sensing properties for all the NiO samples w.re investigated and the ordered large-pore mesoporous NiO (NiO-600) w.th maximum oxygen deficient obtained at 600℃ exhibited the highest response (R_(gas)/R_(air)−1=2.9) tow.rd acetone (1 ppm, ppm: part per million), w.ich is 3.4 and 30 times larger than those for common mesoporous NiO obtained at 300℃ and bulk NiO. Notably, a low.detection limit (2 ppb), good selectivity and cycling stability w.re also observed in NiO-600.

AIM:To examine the regulatory role of microRNA-204(miR-204)on silent information regulator 1(SIRT1)and vascular endothelial grow.h factor(VEGF)under highglucose-induced metabolic memory in human retinal pigment epithelial(hRPE)***:Cells w.re cultured w.th either normal(5 mmol/L)or high D-glucose(25 mmol/L)concentrations for 8d to establish control and high-glucose groups,*** induce metabolic memory,cells w.re cultured w.th 25 mmol/L D-glucose for 4d follow.d by culture w.th 5 mmol/L D-glucose for *** addition,exposed in 25 mmol/L D-glucose for 4d and then transfected w.th 100 nmol/L miR-204 control,miR-204 inhibitor or miR-204 mimic in 5 mmol/L D-glucose for *** reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)w.s used to detect miR-204 mRNA ***1 and VEGF protein levels w.re assessed by immunohistochemical and w.stern *** cytometry w.s used to investigate apoptosis ***:It w.s found that high glucose promoted miR-204 and VEGF expression,and inhibited SIRT1 activity,even after the return to normal glucose culture *** of miR-204 promoted apoptosis inhibiting SIRT1 and increasing VEGF ***,dow.regulation of miR-204 produced the opposite ***:The study identifies that miR-204 is the upstream target of SIRT1and VEGF,and that miR-204 can protect hRPE cells from the damage caused by metabolic memory through increasing SIRT1 and inhibiting VEGF expression.

Comparison of different preoperative objective nutritional indices for evaluating 30-d mortality and complications after liver transplantation

BACKGROUND The nutritional status is closely related to the prognosis of liver transplant re-cipients,but few.studies have reported the role of preoperative objective nutri-tional indices in predicting liver transplant *** To compare the predictive value of various preoperative objective nutritional indicators for determining 30-d mortality and complications follow.ng liver transplantation(LT).METHODS A retrospective analysis w.s conducted on 162 recipients w.o underw.nt LT at our institution from December 2019 to June *** This study identified several independent risk factors associated w.th 30-d mor-tality,including blood loss,the prognostic nutritional index(PNI),the nutritional risk index(NRI),and the control nutritional *** 30-d mortality rate w.s 8.6%.Blood loss,the NRI,and the PNI w.re found to be independent risk factors for the occurrence of severe postoperative *** NRI achieved the highest prediction values for 30-d mortality[area under the curve(AUC)=0.861,Pw.patients in the NRI group had low.r preoperative body mass index and prealbumin and albumin levels,as w.ll as higher alanine aminotransferase and total bilirubin levels,Model for End-stage Liver Disease scores and prothrombin time(Pw.th a low.NRI exhibited significantly greater incidences of intraabdominal bleeding,primary graft nonfunction,and *** The NRI has good predictive value for 30-d mortality and severe complications follow.ng *** NRI could be an effective tool for transplant surgeons to evaluate perioperative nutritional risk and develop relevant nutritional therapy.
