Objective:To evaluate the hepatoprotective activity of Terminalia paniculata against paracetamol induced hepatic damage in ***:The plant material was shade dried, powdered and extracted with *** 52 and silymarin were used as standard drugs and 2%gum acacia as a control(vehicle).Alteration in the levels of biochemical markers of hepatic damage like AST,ALT,ALP and lipid peroxides were tested,and phytochemical tests were also ***:Paracetamol(2 g/kg) increased the serum levels of alanine aminotransfer (ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alkaline phosphatase(ALP) and the lipid peroxides. Treatment of Liv 52,silymarin and ethanolic extract of Terminalia paniculata(200 mg/kg) altered levels of biochemical marker and showed significant hepatoprotective *** extract revealed the presence of phenolic compound and *** findings suggested that ethanolic bark extract of Terminalia paniculata possessed hepatoprotective activity in a dose dependent ***:Terminalia paniculata possesses hepatoprotective *** could be an effective and promising preventive agent against PCT induced hepatotoxicity.

本试验旨在探讨纳豆芽孢杆菌B4对体外小鼠巨噬细胞活力与功能的影响。rAW264.7小鼠单核巨噬细胞(1×10个/ml)按每孔1ml接种6孔培养板,37℃、5%CO培养48h后,处理组每孔加入1ml芽孢杆菌B4芽孢悬液(1×10个/ml),对照组加入等体积培养基,37℃、5%CO继续培养12h。试验结束后,收集样品并测定指标:(1)台盼蓝拒染法测定巨噬细胞活力;(2)收集培养上清,测定其中LDH活力与NO、细胞因子(TNF-α,IFN-γ,IL-1β,IL-6,IL-8,IL-12,IL-10)水平;(3)加入0.1%Triton X-100裂解细胞并收集细胞裂解液,测定其中ACP、LDH和iNOS活力。结果显示:(1)处理组与对照组的巨噬细胞活力与胞外LDH活力均不存在显著差异(P>0.05),且两组的细胞活力均高于97%,表明纳豆芽孢杆菌B4对小鼠巨噬细胞没有明显的细胞毒性。(2)与对照组相比,处理组巨噬细胞ACP与LDH活力分别极显著升高330.68%(P<0.01)与31.91%(P<0.01),表明纳豆芽孢杆菌B4能够显著激活小鼠巨噬细胞。(3)处理组巨噬细胞iNOS活力与NO水平分别比对照组提高了31.69%(P<0.01)与32.97%(P<0.01),表明纳豆芽孢杆菌B4能够通过显著增强iNOS活力,诱导小鼠巨噬细胞产生NO。(4)与对照组相比,处理组TNF-α、IFN-γ、IL-1β、IL-6、IL-8、IL-12与IL-10水平均极显著增加761.64%(P<0.01)、108.95%(P<0.01)、无限(P<0.01)、79.52%(P<0.01)、286.69%(P<0.01)、无限(P<0.01)和572.08%(P<0.01),表明纳豆芽孢杆菌B4能够显著诱导小鼠巨噬细胞产生促炎和抑炎因子,从而提高其炎症反应。结果提示,纳豆芽孢杆菌B4并未对巨噬细胞造成损伤,因而具有很好的安全性,同时,其一方面能够通过激活巨噬细胞提高其吞噬活性,另一方面可以通过诱导NO与细胞因子产生提高小鼠巨噬细胞的免疫功能,因此,纳豆芽孢杆菌B4可作为一种具有免疫调节活性的益生菌。

In this work,we have developed a fifth-order alternative mapped weighted essentially nonoscillatory(AWENO-M)finite volume scheme using non-linear weights of mapped WENO reconstruction scheme of Henrick et al.(***.,207(2005),pp.542-567)for solving hyperbolic conservation *** reconstruction of numerical flux is done using primitive variables instead of conservative *** present scheme results in less spurious oscillations near discontinuities and shows higher-order accuracy at critical points compared to the alternative WENO scheme(AWENO)based on traditional non-linear weights of Jiang and Shu(***.,228(1996),pp.202-228).The third-order runge-Kutta method has been used for solution advancement in *** Harten-Lax-van Leer-Contact(HLLC)shock-capturing method is used to provide necessary upwinding into the *** performance of the present scheme is evaluated in terms of accuracy,computational cost,and resolution of discontinuities by using various one and two-dimensional test cases.

In this paper,we have proposed a nonlinear mathematical model of different classes of individuals for coronavirus(COVID-19).The model incorporates the effect of transmission and treatment on the occurrence of new *** the model,the basic reproduction number(r_(0))has been *** to the threshold quantity(r_(0)),the stability of endemic and disease-free equilibrium(DFE)points are *** r_(0)>1,if the endemic equilibrium point exists,then it is locally asymptotically stable,whereas the DFE point is globally asymptotically stable for r_(0)radication of the *** effects of various parameters on the spread of COVID-19 are discussed in the segment of sensitivity *** model is numerically simulated to understand the effect of reproduction number on the transmission dynamics of the disease *** the numerical simulations,it is concluded that if the reproduction number for the coronavirus disease is reduced below unity by decreasing the transmission rate and detecting more number of infectives,then the epidemic can be eradicated from the population.

Information entropy has been proved to be an effective tool to quantify the structural importance of complex *** a previous work [Xu et al. Physica A, 456 294（2016）], we measure the contribution of a path in link prediction with information entropy. In this paper, we further quantify the contribution of a path with both path entropy and path weight,and propose a weighted prediction index based on the contributions of paths, namely weighted path entropy（WPE）, to improve the prediction accuracy in weighted networks. Empirical experiments on six weighted real-world networks show that WPE achieves higher prediction accuracy than three other typical weighted indices.

The predator/prey （capture） problem is a prototype of many network-related applications. We study the capture process on complex networks by considering multiple predators from multiple sources. In our model, some lions start from multiple sources simultaneously to capture the lamb by biased random walks, which are controlled with a free parameter a. We derive the distribution of the lamb＇s lifetime and the expected lifetime （T）. Through simulation, we find that the expected lifetime drops substantially with the increasing number of lions. Moreover, we study how the underlying topological structure affects the capture process, and obtain that locating on small-degree nodes is better than on large- degree nodes to prolong the lifetime of the lamb. The dense or homogeneous network structures are against the survival of the lamb. We also discuss bow to improve the capture efficiency in our model.

AIM: The fruits of Lagenaria siceraria(Molina) Standl.(Cucurbitaceae), a commonly used vegetable, are reported to possess various medicinal properties. In previous studies, the fibrinolytic potential of an ethanolic extract of fruits of Lagenaria siceraria was investigated in comparison with kaempferol isolated from it. The aim of the present study was to explore its mechanistic antithrombotic potential and antiplatelet activity using a wide dose range in different in vitro and in vivo models, and to quantify the total phenolic, flavonoid, and kaempferol contents using a colorimetric method. METHOD: The antithrombotic potential was investigated using tail bleeding time in mice, a plasma recalcification assay, and pulmonary thromboembolism in mice. The antiplatelet activity was studied using an in vitro model to investigate IC50 value. rESULTS: A significant amount of total phenols, flavonoids, and kaempferol was quantified in L. siceraria ethanolic extract. An ethanolic extract of the fruits of L. siceraria showed a significant increase in tail bleeding time and plasma recalcification time, significant protection against ADP induced pulmonary thromboembolism in mice, and also inhibited the platelet aggregation induced by ADP in vitro. The study suggested that the fruits of L. siceraria exhibit significant antithrombotic potential due to inhibition of ADP-mediated platelet aggregation and the involvement of various non-cellular chemical mediators of blood. CONCLUSION: This finding may be helpful in treating the serious consequences of the thrombus formed in blood vessels which include atherothrombotic diseases, such as myocardial or cerebral infarction. So, further investigation should be done for revealing exact mechanism of action behind these types of activities.

In this paper,a radially polarised cosh-Gaussian laser beam(CGLB)is used to study the electron acceleration produced in vacuum.A highly energetic electron beam can be achieved by a CGLB,even with comparatively low-powered *** properties of a CGLB cause it to focus earlier,over a shorter duration than a Gaussian laser beam,which makes it suitable for obtaining high energies over small *** is found that the energy gained by the electrons strongly depends upon the decentering parameter of the laser *** is also observed that for a fixed value of energy gain,if the decentering parameter is increased,then the intensity of the laser field *** dependence of the energy gained by electrons on the laser intensity and the laserspot size is also studied.
