Objective:To investigate the naturally occurring antioxidant for the first time from the different solvent fractions of Hybanthus enneaspermus（***） Linn ***（Violaceae）. Methods:Different fractions of *** were tested for total phenolic content,and in vitro antioxidant activity was measured by total antioxidant assay,DPPH assay,reducing power, nitric oxide（NO）,hydrogen peroxide（H2O2） scavenging ***:The ethyl acetate（EA） fraction was found to have high levels of phenolic content[（212.15±0.79） mg GAE/g].The EA fraction exhibited higher total antioxidant capacity,higher percentage of DPPH radical scavenging activity[（127.07±2.29） Fg/mL],nitric oxide[（245.16±1.44）μg/mLJ,hydrogen peroxide[（227.38±7.18）μg/mL],deoxyribose[（270.61±8.72）μg/mL]and higher reducing *** was a significant correlation between total phenolic content and total antioxidant activity（r =0.972）. Conclusions:These results reveal that EA fraction of *** has strong antioxidant potential compared with other *** further study has been extended to the isolation of the possible compound that is responsible for having antioxidant property.

Objective:To explore the effects of extract of Hibiscus rosasinensis(***) on the volume,free and total acidity of gastric secretion induced by ***:Animals were kept on fasting for 48 *** the pylorus of each animal was *** were randomly divided into 5 groups and treated by carbachol at 600μg/*** animals in groupⅡ-Ⅴwere treated by *** extract at 250 and 500 mg/kg body weight,cimetidine at 2.5 mg/ kg and verapamil at 10 mg/kg body weight intraperitoneally,*** volume,free and total acidity of gastric secretion were observed and ***:It was found that the extract significantly reduced the volume,free and total acidity of gastric secretion(P<0.01). These reductions were comparable to cimetidine and *** the reduction in the volume and free acidity were more significant in cimetidine and verapamil treated group indicating that cimetidine and verapamil were more ***:The extract of *** can reduced the volume,free and total acidity of gastric secretion,and can be used effectively in the treatment of peptic ulcer.

Severe blood loss due to traumatic injuries remains one of the leading causes of death in emergency *** continues to be the candidate material for hemostatic applications due to its inherent hemostatic ***,available chitosan-based dressings have been reported to have an acidic odor at the wound site due to the incorporation of acid based solvents for their fabrication and deformation under compression owing to low mechanical strength limiting its *** the present study semi-IPN cryogel was fabricated via Schiff's base cross-linking between the polyaldehyde groups of oxidized dextran and thiolated chitosan in presence of locust bean gum(LBG)known for its *** at12C yielded macroporous semi-IPN cryogels with an average pore size of 124.57±20.31 mm and 85.46%*** hydrophobicity index of LBG reinforced semi-IPN cryogel was reduced 2.42 times whereas the swelling ratio was increased by 156.08%compare to control *** increased hydrophilicity and swelling ratio inflated the compressive modulus from 28.1 kPa to 33.85 for LBG reinforced semi-IPN *** structural stability and constant degradation medium pH were also recorded over a period of 12 *** cryogels demonstrated lower adsorption affinity towards *** cytotoxicity assays(direct,indirect)with 3T3-L1 fibroblast cells confirmed the cytocompatibility of the *** hemolysis assay showed<5%hemolysis confirming blood compatibility of the fabricated cryogel,while whole blood clotting and platelet adhesion assays confirmed the hemostatic potential of semi-IPN cryogel.

The purpose of this review is to identify prevalent trends and risk factors in depression,anxiety,and eating disorders in the adolescent population in the post coronavirus disease 2019(COvID-19)*** examined the literature published on adolescent mental health since the COVID-19 *** chose to summarize studies published from 2019 to 2022,using bibliographic search *** developed criteria for selecting articles for our review using diagnostic indicators and *** health conditions such as depression,anxiety and eating disorders are commonly prevalent in this population and have shown increasing rates in the past three *** risk factors associated with these diagnoses include reduction in social interaction,increased workloads,routine shifts,sleep quality,social media usage and parental ***,sleep cycles,physical activity,and social media should all be considered as a part of prevention in this *** that seem to be successful include maintaining social ties and avoiding negative social media usage with harmful *** global public awareness,as well as parental awareness,through media campaigns,is critical to slowing the spread of mental health challenges in adolescents and teenagers in the post-COvID-19 era.
