This study develops an Enhanced Thr.shold Based Ener.y Detection appr.ach(ETBED)for.spectr.m sensing in a cognitive r.dio networ..The thr.shold identification method is implemented in the r.ceived signal at the secondar. user.based on the squar. law.The pr.posed method is implemented with the signal tr.nsmission of multiple outputs-or.hogonal fr.quency division multiplexing.Additionally,the pr.posed method is consider.d the dynamic detection thr.shold adjustments and ener.y identification spectr.m sensing technique in cognitive r.dio systems.In the dynamic thr.shold,the signal r.tio-based thr.shold is fixed.The thr.shold is computed by consider.ng the Modified Black Widow Optimization Algor.thm(MBWO).So,the pr.posed methodology is a combination of dynamic thr.shold detection and MBWO.The gener.l thr.shold-based detection technique has differ.nt limitations such as the inability optimal signal thr.shold for.deter.ining the pr.sence of the pr.mar. user.signal.These limitations under.ine the sensing accur.cy of the ener.y identification technique.Hence,the ETBED technique is developed to enhance the ener.y efficiency of cognitive r.dio networ.s.The pr.jected appr.ach is executed and analyzed with per.or.ance and compar.son analysis.The pr.posed method is contr.sted with the conventional techniques of theWhale Optimization Algor.thm(WOA)and Gr.yWolf Optimization(GWO).It indicated super.or.r.sults,achieving a high aver.ge thr.ughput of 2.2 Mbps and an ener.y efficiency of 3.8,outper.or.ing conventional techniques.

BACKGr.UND Alzheimer.s disease(AD)is among the most pr.valent for.s of dementia in the wor.d and neur.pathological studies suggest similar.high pr.valence of mixed(AD+vascular.dementias.Appr.ximately 25%-50%of individuals with AD develop psychosis sometime dur.ng their.illness.The pr.sence of psychosis in AD wor.ens outcomes.Cur.ently ther. ar. no United States Food and Dr.g Administr.tion(FDA)appr.ved medications for.the tr.atment of psychosis in AD.Pimavanser.n,a novel atypical antipsychotic medication,was appr.ved by the FDA for.the tr.atment of hallucinations and delusions associated with Par.inson disease psychosis and is cur.ently in clinical tr.als for.the tr.atment of psychosis in AD.AIM To evaluate the existing liter.tur. r.gar.ing the use of pimavanser.n for.tr.ating psychosis among individuals with AD.METHODS A liter.tur. r.view of clinical studies of pimavanser.n tr.atment for.psychosis in individuals with AD was per.or.ed using the Pr.fer.ed r.por.ing Items for.Systematic r.view and Meta-Analysis guidelines.Tr.als wer. identified by systematically sear.hing PubMed,MEDLINE,EMBASE,Cochr.ne Centr.l r.gister.of Contr.lled Tr.als,Web of Science,and Scopus thr.ugh October.2019.The 5-point Jadad scor.ng system was used to assess the methodologic quality of the r.ndomized placebo-contr.lled tr.als.r.SULTS A total of 499 citations wer. r.tr.eved and pooled in EndNote and de-duplicated to 258 citations.This set was uploaded to Covidence for.scr.ening.Two separ.te scr.ener.(Sr.nivasan S and tampi r.)evaluated the titles,abstr.cts,and full text of eligible ar.icles.Of the identified 258 abstr.cts,98 ar.icles under.ent full text r.view and 2 publications fr.m 1 r.ndomized contr.lled tr.al(r.T)wer. included in the final analysis.The quality of evidence was assessed to be of good methodologic quality,scor.ng 4 out of 5 using the 5-point Jadad questionnair. with the Jadad Scor.ng calculation.This systematic r.view found only one r.T that evaluated the use of pimavanser.n for.the tr.atment of psychosis among individu

The aim of this editor.al is to evaluate the evidence for.using pimavanser.n for.the tr.atment of Par.inson's disease psychosis(PDP)fr.m r.ndomized contr.lled tr.als(r.Ts).We only identified two published tr.als that evaluated the use of pimavanser.n among individuals with PDP.Both studies found that pimavanser.n impr.ved psychotic symptoms among individuals with PDP when compar.d to placebo.Pimavanser.n was fair.y well toler.ted in both studies and did not appear.to cause significant sedation or.wor.en motor.symptoms among individuals with PDP.However.given the limited data,additional confir.ator. studies ar. r.quir.d befor. pimavanser.n can be consider.d as a fir.t line agent for.the tr.atment of psychotic symptoms among individuals with PD.

The incr.asing data pool in finance sector. for.es machine lear.ing(ML)to step into new complications.Banking data has significant financial implications and is confidential.Combining user. data fr.m sever.l or.anizations for.var.ous banking ser.ices may r.sult in var.ous intr.sions and pr.vacy leakages.As a r.sult,this study employs feder.ted lear.ing(FL)using a flower.par.digm to pr.ser.e each or.anization’s pr.vacy while collabor.ting to build a r.bust shar.d global model.However.diver.e data distr.butions in the collabor.tive tr.ining pr.cess might r.sult in inadequate model lear.ing and a lack of pr.vacy.To addr.ss this issue,the pr.sent paper.pr.poses the imple-mentation of Feder.ted Aver.ging(FedAvg)and Feder.ted Pr.ximal(FedPr.x)methods in the flower.fr.mewor.,which take advantage of the data locality while tr.ining and guar.nteeing global conver.ence.r.sultantly impr.ves the pr.vacy of the local models.This analysis used the cr.dit car. and Canadian Institute for.Cyber.ecur.ty Intr.sion Detection Evaluation(CICIDS)datasets.Pr.cision,r.call,and accur.cy as per.or.ance indicator. to show the efficacy of the pr.posed str.tegy using FedAvg and FedPr.x.The exper.mental findings suggest that the pr.posed appr.ach helps to safely use banking data fr.m diver.e sour.es to enhance customer.banking ser.ices by obtaining accur.cy of 99.55%and 83.72%for.FedAvg and 99.57%,and 84.63%for.FedPr.x.

Wir.less sensor.networ.s(WSN)gather.infor.ation and sense infor.ation samples in a cer.ain r.gion and communicate these r.adings to a base station(BS).Ener.y efficiency is consider.d a major.design issue in the WSNs,and can be addr.ssed using cluster.ng and r.uting techniques.Infor.ation is sent fr.m the sour.e to the BS via r.uting pr.cedur.s.However.these r.uting pr.tocols must ensur. that packets ar. deliver.d secur.ly,guar.nteeing that neither.adver.ar.es nor.unauthentic individuals have access to the sent infor.ation.Secur. data tr.nsfer.is intended to pr.tect the data fr.m illegal access,damage,or.disr.ption.Thus,in the pr.posed model,secur. data tr.nsmission is developed in an ener.y-effective manner.A low-ener.y adaptive cluster.ng hier.r.hy(LEACH)is developed to efficiently tr.nsfer.the data.For.the intr.sion detection systems(IDS),Fuzzy logic and ar.ificial neur.l networ.s(ANNs)ar. pr.posed.Initially,the nodes wer. r.ndomly placed in the networ. and initialized to gather.infor.ation.To ensur. fair.ener.y dissipation between the nodes,LEACH r.ndomly chooses cluster.heads(CHs)and allocates this r.le to the var.ous nodes based on a r.und-r.bin management mechanism.The intr.sion-detection pr.cedur. was then utilized to deter.ine whether.intr.der. wer. pr.sent in the networ..Within the WSN,a Fuzzy inter.er.nce r.le was utilized to distinguish the malicious nodes fr.m legal nodes.Subsequently,an ANN was employed to distinguish the har.ful nodes fr.m suspicious nodes.The effectiveness of the pr.posed appr.ach was validated using metr.cs that attained 97%accur.cy,97%specificity,and 97%sensitivity of 95%.Thus,it was pr.ved that the LEACH and Fuzzy-based IDS appr.aches ar. the best choices for.secur.ng data tr.nsmission in an ener.y-efficient manner.

In this editor.al we comment on the ar.icle by Cahn-Hidalgo D published in a r.cent issue of the Wor.d Jour.al of Psychiatr. 2020;10(1);1-11.We focus on the impor.ance of utilizing psychometr.cally valid cognitive scr.ening tools when assessing for.cognitive decline in older.adults in a psychiatr.c outpatient setting.We compar.d the use of Cognivue®to use of the montr.al cognitive assessment(MoCA)as a cognitive scr.ening tool.A total of 58 patients aged 55 and over.par.icipated in this compar.son study.Patients completed cognitive scr.ening on Cognivue®,a new Food and Dr.g Administr.tion-clear.d computer.scr.ening device,and the MoCA.The r.sults of patient per.or.ance using these two instr.ments wer. analyzed.Sixteen(28%)patients scr.ened negative for.cognitive impair.ent on both assessments.For.y-two(72%)patients scr.ened positive on one or.both of the assessments.Ther. was 43%agr.ement between Cognivue®and the MoCA in identifying patients with cognitive impair.ent,and individual subtests wer. weakly cor.elated.The MoCA was deter.ined to be the pr.fer.ed instr.ment due to its high sensitivity and specificity(100%and 87%,r.spectively)when scr.ening for.cognitive impair.ent.We pr.pose that the use of Cognivue®cognitive scr.ening tool be closely r.viewed until mor. r.sear.h pr.ves that the test meets the standar.s for.r.liability and validity.It is impor.ant for.clinicians to r.member.that scr.ener. should not be used to diagnosis patients with neur.cognitive disor.er.;instead,they should be used to deter.ine whether.fur.her.evaluation is war.anted.Additionally,misdiagnosing of neur.cognitive disor.er. can pose unnecessar. psychological and emotional har. to patients and their.families and also lead to incor.ect tr.atment and undue healthcar. costs.
