Individuals with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)have been reported to be at an increased risk of infertility and sexual *** the relationship between them remains unclear,IBD severity is suspected to affect hormone levels and *** analyze the impact of IBD severity on semen parameters and sex hormone levels in ulcerative colitis-type IBD(UC-IBD),we conducted a cross-sectional study involving 120 patients with UC-IBD in Adam Malik General Hospital,Medan,*** patients were classified into three groups based on the Mayo score for Uc,followed by a comparison of various semen and hormone parameters among these *** addition to the cross-sectional analysis,a simple correlation test was conducted irrespective of the patient *** concentration,motility,and morphology were found to decline significantly with an increase in IBD *** classifying patients with IBD into subgroups,the Mayo score showed negative correlations with sperm concentration(r=-0.375,P<0.0001),rapid progressive motility(r=-0.660,P<0.0001),free testosterone(r=-0.732,P<0.0001),and total testosterone(r=-0.721,P<0.0001),and positivecorrelations with immotile sperm(r=0.660,P<0.0001),abnormal morphology(r=0.657,P<0.0001),and sex hormone-binding globulin(SHBG;r=0.278,P=0.002).Sperm concentration,motility,and morphology declined significantly with the severity of *** study suggests a significant negative impact of IBD severityonsemenqualityand sexhormones.

Phenotypic heterogeneity of mutations in androgen receptor gene

Androgen receptor （AR） gene has been extensively studied in diverse clinical conditions. In addition to the point mutations, trinucleotide repeat （CAG and GGN） length polymorphisms have been an additional subject of interest and controversy among geneticists. The polymorphic variations in triplet repeats have been associated with a number of disorders, but at the same time contradictory findings have also been reported. Further, studies on the same disorder in different populations have generated different results. Therefore, combined analysis or review of the published studies has been of much value to extract information on the significance of variations in the gene in various clinical conditions. AR genetics has been reviewed extensively but until now review articles have focused on individual clinical categories such as androgen insensitivity, male infertility, prostate cancer, and so on. We have made the first effort to review most the aspects of AR genetics. The impact of androgens in various disorders and polymorphic variations in the AR gene is the main focus of this review. Additionally, the correlations observed in various studies have been discussed in the light of in vitro evidences available for the effect of AR gene variations on the action of androgens.

Evaluation of EO-1 Hyperion Data for Crop Studies in Part of Indo-Gangatic Plains: A Case Study of Meerut District

Due to the high number of bands in the hyperspectral image, the selection of optimum bands for crop classification is a prerequisite. The Hyperion sensor has 242 spectral bands out of which 143 useable bands were selected. The bands reflected wavelength from 400 to 1000 nm to the VNIR spectrometer and transmitted the band from 900 to 2500 nm to the SWIR spectrometer. Spectral Angle Mapping Classification (SAMC) approach and a multi-scale object oriented method are applied for crop studies. The result obtained from the accuracy assessment by comparing Ground Control Points (GCP) with the help of image spectra shows 78% of overall accuracy. This shows that these data are highly useful in studying the crop diversification.

Androgen insensitivity syndrome： do trinucleotide repeats in androgen receptor gene have any role？

Aim： To investigate the role of CAG and GGN repeats as genetic background affecting androgen insensitivity syndrome （AIS） phenotype. Methods： We analyzed lengths of androgen receptor （AR）-CAG and GGN repeats in 69 AIS cases, along with 136 unrelated normal male individuals. The lengths of repeats were analyzed using polymerase chain reaction （PCR） amplification followed by allelic genotyping to determine allele length. Results： Our study revealed significantly shorter mean lengths of CAG repeats in patients （mean 18.25 repeats, range 14-26 repeats） in comparison to the controls （mean 22.57 repeats, range 12-39 repeats）（two-tailed P 〈 0.0001）. GGN repeats, however, did not differ significantly between patients （mean 21.48 repeats） and controls （mean 21.21 repeats）（two- tailed P = 0.474）. Among patients＇ groups, the mean number of CAG repeats in partial androgen insensitivity cases （mean 15.83 repeats） was significantly less than in complete androgen insensitivity cases （mean 19.46 repeats）（two- tailed P 〈 0.0001）. Conclusion： The findings suggest that shorter lengths of repeats in the AR gene might act as low penetrance genetic background in varying manifestation of androgen insensitivity.

采用田间试验,研究了7种不同水稻耕作和种植方式[水田翻耕移栽（puddling transplanting,PT）、免耕移栽（no tillage transplanting,NTT）、水田翻耕滚筒湿播（puddling drum wet seeding,PDWS）、免耕滚筒湿播（no tillage drum wet seeding,NTDWS）、传统耕作旱穴播（conventional tillage dry drilling,CTDD）、沟垄灌溉旱穴播（furrow irrigated raised beds system dry drilling,FIRBSDD）和免耕旱穴播（no-tillage dry-drilling,NTDD）对稻田杂草和水稻产量的影响。结果表明,PT处理下水稻产量最高,杂草干物质量最低;与移栽相比,直播（direct seeded rice,DSR）,包括旱直播和湿直播,杂草生长能力最强,且不管有无杂草均降低了水稻产量;直播处理因杂草使水稻减产91.4%~99.0%,而PT和NTT处理分别减产16.0%和42.0%;香附子、龙爪茅、长穗苋、珠子草和假海马齿等杂草种类在DSR处理中大量出现,但在PT处理中未出现。大田示范试验结果表明,普通水稻品种（HKR-47和IR-64）在DSR处理较PT处理减产达15.8%,但优质水稻品种（Sharbati和PB-1）在两处理间无明显差异。当前劳动力紧缺,人工插秧需要大量劳力,因此亟需开发好氧栽培（如免耕直播和机插）模式下的适宜水稻品种及其相关配套农业机械及技术。

Production planning is the foremost task for manufacturing firms to deal with, especially adopting Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) as the manufacturing strategy for production seeking an optimal balance between productivity-flexibility requirements. Production planning in FMS provides a solution to problems regarding part type selection: machine grouping, production ratio, resource allocation and loading problem. These problems need to be solved optimally for maximum utilization of resources. Optimal solution to these problems has been a focus of attention in production and manufacturing, industrial and academic research since a number of decades. Evolution of new optimization techniques, software, technology, machines and computer languages provides the scope of a better optimal solution to the existing problems. Thus there remains a need of research to solve the problem with latest tools and techniques for higher optimal use of available resources. As an objective, the researchers need to reduce the computational time and cost, complexity of the problem, solution approach viz. general or customized, better user friendly communication with machine, higher freedom to select the desired objective(s) type(s) for optimal solution to the problem. As an approach to the solution to the problem, a researcher first needs to go for an exhaustive literature review, where the researcher needs to find the research gaps, compare and analyze the tools and techniques used, number of objectives considered for optimization and need, and scope of research for the research problem. The present study is a review paper analyzing the research gaps, approach and techniques used, scope of new optimization techniques or any other research, objectives considered and validation approaches for loading problems of production planning in FMS.

由核盘菌Sclerotinia sclerotiorum（Lib）De Bary引起的芸薹属物种的菌核病是一种破坏性疾病,在全球范围内各油菜生产国都形成了对芸薹属物种栽培的威胁。本研究在位于29°10’N和75°46’E的印度CCS Haryana农业大学进行,其目的是鉴定耐菌核病的资源/品系。选择来自澳大利亚、中国和印度的91个种质资源（43个芥菜型油菜、48个甘蓝型油菜）,在温室条件下,通过苗期土壤接种和80%植株开花期（90天植株,处于角果发育期）茎秆接种鉴定苗期和角果发育期抗/耐菌核病资源。因为在这两个时期,病原菌通过子囊孢子和子实体萌发菌核,都具有系统的空气传染能力。接种后5-6天出现病症,15天内幼苗倒伏。没有任何一个芸薹属油料作物种质品系/资源对菌核病表现出完全抗性。在幼苗期,来自澳大利亚的芥菜型油菜JO009、JN031和JN033观察到具有耐病性,而来自印度和中国的品系没有。甘蓝型油菜中,来自澳大利亚的AG Outback、Rainbow、RQ011、RQ011-02M2和来自印度的Neelam和GSL1以及来自中国的YU178在幼苗期观察到耐病性。本研究中病害程度的变异可能是选择的病原体类型和植株年龄造成的。在幼苗期观察到耐病性的基因型在角果形成期不一定具有耐病性,反之亦然。但是,基因型RQ011在幼苗期和角果形成期都观察到具有耐病性。耐病性水平在基因型间也有变化。基于耐病性的有效水平,建议利用已鉴定的基因型进一步提高对菌核病的抗/耐性水平,而非作为聚合菌核病抗性的供体亲本。

白锈病是芸薹属油料作物感病植物种如芥菜型油菜和白菜型油菜的一种毁灭性病害,其病征主要表现在子叶、花瓣和部分花序上长出乳白色的脓疱,花序受侵染后在花梗上形成肿大的“龙头”。生产上所用的芥菜型油菜品种大部分都对白腐病高感,在印度,由于花瓣和部分花序被感染所致产量损失的估计值超过60%。在澳大利亚,选育双低芥菜型油菜品种可扩大降水量少的地区油菜种植,并在2006年选育出第一个双低芥菜型油菜品种推广应用。选育抗性材料是控制病害发生的最经济有效措施,因此,很有必要对印、中、澳三国有用的芥菜型油菜资源做个寄主抗性鉴定。实验采用人工控制环境条件和田间条件,以建立最适合的寄主抗性鉴定方法和发掘来自三个国家的芥菜型抗性资源。在所鉴定的44个芥菜型油菜品种中,22个来自印度,12个来自澳大利亚,其余10个来自中国,均由国际农业研究协作组织澳大利亚中心提供。所有的品种在控制的环境下通过白锈病菌的人工接种进行筛选,同时22个印度品种和12个澳大利亚品种还在天然的田间环境下作同样的鉴定（地点分别在Mt Barker和Wongan Hills）。在人工控制的条件下的筛选都能得到稳定一致的结果,而在田间环境下得到的结果不一致。人工条件下抗病基因型的鉴定在子叶期、苗期和花期都能进行。鉴定结果表明,的抗性鉴定表明,4个中国品种（CBJ-001,CBJ-002,CBJ-003,CBJ-004）和一个澳大利亚品种（JR049）在不同发育时期对所用的澳大利亚白锈病生理小种都表现高抗。比较而言,除了几个最感病的印度品种（RH781,RL1359,RH819）在不同的发育时期都表现极度敏感外,其他感病品种对病害的相对敏感度在不同的发育时期有差别。

Background In the Indo-Gangetic Plain,rice-wheat is the most extensively practiced crop *** escalating issue of crop residue burning,particularly rice straw,and the necessity to lower the exorbitant expenses associated with fertilizer inputs stand out as significant challenges for farmers in the region.A well-suited integrated nutrient management(INM)strategy that focuses on recycling crop residues can serve as a solution to address these *** a strategy not only mitigates air pollution resulting from residue burning but also helps combat water pollution due to nitrate losses from *** experiments were used to evaluate the suitability of eight INM-modules that included various combinations of inorganic fertilizer rates(50%,100%,150%of recommended dose),crop residues(wheat and rice stubble retention at 30 cm standing stubble equivalent to 1/3 the straw yield),rice straw compost(RSC),farmyard manure(FYM),and green manuring(GM),compared to 100%recommended dose of fertilizers(F)and no fertilizer *** There was a considerable improvement in nitrogen mineralization,grain yields,and nitrogen use efficiency under GM+RSC-F50 and GM+*** INM modules would permit a 50%reduction in the use of chemical *** was a little yield penalty with in situ rice residue incorporation at 100%F;however,this could be overcome with 150%F fertilizer *** situ retention of wheat straw with a full application of fertilizer resulted in steadily rising crop yields over *** in the redox potential,soil pH,and soil organic carbon best accounted for the observed trajectories in nitrogen use *** The most promising INM modules for adoption by farmers in the Indo-Gangetic Plain to judiciously use crop residues and curtail chemical fertilizer inputs are green manuring with Sesbania aculeata+rice straw compost at 5 t ha^(−1)+only 50%of recommended dose of fertilizers(GM+RSC-F50),and green manuring with
