Comparative measurement of CO_(2),CH_(4)and CO at two traffic interjunctions having inflated vehicular flow in Delhi

Vehicular emissions are considered one of the major anthropogenic sources of greenhouse gases and poor air quality in metropolitan *** study aims to see the correlation of CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO through monitoring over a period from December 2020 to October 2021 covering three seasons’winter,summer,and monsoon at two different traffic locations of Delhi having different traffic volumes,road patterns,and traffic *** annual average morning concentration of CO_(2),CH_(4)and CO was found(533±105),(7.3±3.1),(10.7±3.0)ppm at Najafgarh and(480±70),(5.2±1.8),(7.8±2.8)ppm at Rajendra Place,respectively.A relationship between concentration of all three gases and meteorological parameters such as temperature,humidity,wind speed and wind direction has also been investigated using Pearson correlation coefficient and pollution rose diagram.A comparable pattern in concentration was observed for all three gases in spatial(location)and temporal(diurnal)*** concentration trend of CO_(2)in different seasons is winter>summer>monsoon,while in the case of CH_(4)winter=summer>monsoon but not any seasonal trend was noted in CO *** is observed that CO_(2)has a good relation with CO(a tracer for vehicular emission)in terms of diurnal variation,whereas,CH_(4)does not represent a relation with CO and CO_(2)diurnally,suggesting that vehicles are the source of CO_(2)but not much contributing to other greenhouse gases lik. CH_(4).

This paper presents a Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) based Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled Prism block.hain. The recent advancements in the field of IoT motivate the development of a secure infrastructure for storing and sharing vast amounts of data. Block.hain, a distributed and immutable ledger, is best k.own as a potential solution to data security and privacy for the IoT. The scalability of block.hain, which should optimize the throughput and handle the dynamics of the IoT environment, becomes a challenge due to the enormous amount of IoT data. The critical challenge in scaling block.hain is to guarantee decentralization, latency, and security of the system while optimizing the transaction throughput. This paper presents a DRL-based performance optimization for block.hain-enabled IoT. We consider one of the recent promising block.hains, Prism, as the underlying block.hain system because of its good performance guarantees. We integrate the IoT data into Prism block.hain and optimize the performance of the system by leveraging the Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) method. The DRL method helps to optimize the block.hain parameters lik. mining rate and mined block. to adapt to the environment dynamics of the IoT system. Our results show that the proposed method can improve the throughput of Prism block.hain-based IoT systems while preserving Prism performance guarantees. Our scheme can achieve 1.5 times more system rewards than IoT-integrated Prism. In our experimental setup, the proposed scheme could improve the average throughput of the system by about 6,000 transactions per second compared to Prism.

Recently, S. aggarwal [Chin. Phys. B 23 （2014） 093203] reported energy levels, radiative rates, and the lifetimes for the lowest 60 levels belonging to the 2s22p5, 2s2p6, and 2s22p43g configurations of F-lik. tungsten. There is no discrepancy for his calculated energies for the levels and the radiative rates for the limited number of E1 transitions, but the reported results for the lifetimes are highly inaccurate. According to our calculations, errors in his reported lifetimes are up to 6 orders of magnitude for several levels. Here we report the correct lifetimes for future comparisons and applications, and also explain the reason for the discrepancies.

AIM: To study the chemical constituents of the stem part of Ichnocarpus frutescens. METHODS: The ethanolic extract of Ichnocarpus frutescens was used for the isolation of chemical constituents with the help of silica gel G and Sephadex column chromatography and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral data and chemical methods. RESULTS: Five compounds were isolated and identified as n-butyl oleate (1), n-octyl tetracontane (2), tetratriacontadiene (3), n-nonadecanyl benzoate (4), and benzocosanyl arachidate (5). CONCLUSION: Compound 5 is new; and compounds 1-4 are isolated from genus Ichnocarpus frutescens for the first time.

Populus species are important resources for industry and in scientific study on biological and agricul- tural systems. Our objective was to enhance the frequency of plant regeneration in Himalayan poplar （Populus ciliata wall. ex Royle）. The effect of TDZ alone and in combi- nation with adenine and NAA was studied on the regen- eration potential of petiole explants. The explants were excised from Himalayan poplar plants grown in glass- houses. After surface sterilization the explants were cul- tured on shoot induction medium. High percentage shoot regeneration （86 %） was recorded on MS medium sup- plemented with 0.004 mg L-1 TDZ and 79.7 mg L-1 adenine. The regenerated shoots for elongation and multi- plication were transferred to MS ＋ 0.5 mg L-1 BAP ＋ 0.2 mg L-1 IAA ＋ 0.3 mg L-1 GA3. Root re- generation from shoots developed in vitro was observed on MS medium supplemented with 0.10 mg L-1 IBA. Hi- malayan poplar plantlets could be produced within 2 months after acclimatization in a sterile mixture of sand and soil. We developed a high efficiency plant regeneration protocol from petiole explants of P. ciliata.
