Antibacterial resistance developed by bacteria due to the unlimited use of antibiotics has posed a challenge for human *** kind of problem is not limited to India only,but it is a global ***,many treatments and medicines for bacterial diseases have been ***,they possess some ***,the alternative medicine has been used to target the drug resistant mechanisms and such medicines have less side effects which is becoming *** products have traditionally or historically been of importance for the development of antibacterial agents and are also known to overcome bacterial drug resistance by directly targeting the drug resistance mechanisms in *** recent years,researchers have also focused on new drug discovery from plant-based *** have looked on various phytocompounds as antibacterial *** the current review,we report various classes of secondary metabolites such as phenolic compounds,flavonoids,alkaloids,saponins,terpenes,quinones,and some essential oils that have been used as an antibacterial *** addition,we also discuss several mechanisms behind bacterial multi-drug resistance that are used during bacterial pathogenesis.

This paper reports the ground water quality deterioration due to fluoride in the parts of Chhattisgarh state. Out of selected 60 sites, high contamination of fluoride content up to 7.00 ppm was found in Kolam, Muragaon and Saraitola villages and in the range of 1.0 to 1.2 ppm in Basanpalli, Bhalumuda, Dolesara, Penkapara, Kunjhemura villages. Ten new areas were selected for yearly monitoring and fluoride concentration was found up to 1.44 ppm. The results call for immediate steps for monitoring and treatment of contaminated locations.

Over the past years, wireless sensor systems have picked up a global consideration from both the researchers and the genuine clients. It includes a large number of sensing devices, some computing techniques and communication with limited power supplies and processing abilities which collectively work to fulfill a large sensing task. IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee based Wireless Sensor Networks raise a few issues like Energy Scavenging for the limited power supply. Accordingly good functioning of such system relies upon energies of the wireless motes. This paper presents two analytical models which demonstrate and predict the QoS in terms of throughput, jitter, average end-to-end delay and energy consumption. These two distinct network models based on IEEE 802.15.4 are cluster-based and grid-based, and are simulated using QualNet v 6.1 Simulator.

美国对华反倾销的出口产品种类溢出效应探究

本文基于2000-2006年企业-产品微观数据,使用面板双重差分模型考察美国对华反倾销措施是否导致了企业内部出口产品种类发生变化。结果发现,美国对华反倾销措施显著增加了受影响企业销至美国的非倾销产品出口额和出口量,即存在出口产品种类的溢出效应,这一效应随企业所有制不同以及是否为多行业企业有所不同。进一步的研究发现,美国对华反倾销措施仅增加了非倾销产品至企业原有出口渠道的出口。因此,企业积极应对国外反倾销措施的一个有效途径是扩展新产品种类,将出口更多转移至非倾销产品上,从而稳定出口,减少反倾销措施带来的不利影响。

Cloud computing is currently an embryonic domain in the area of information technology that possesses the power of transforming the way information technology （IT） services are delivered and maintained in the business world. Pay as per the usage kind of cost structure coupled with delivery of computing services through internet makes cloud computing an exciting and potential growth oriented information technology model compared with conventional computing services delivery models. Various additional features like scalability, flexibility and easy deployment process creates a window for the organizations even relatively smaller in size to get benefitted by the highly advanced ＆ modern technologies without incurring substantial cost. In spite of so many benefits of this new delivery model, concerns are beginning to grow about how safe an environment it is. Despite of all the hype surrounding the cloud, enterprise customers are still reluctant to deploy their business in the cloud. Security is one of the major issues which reduces the growth of cloud computing and complications with data privacy and data protection continue to plague the market. Other related concerns associated with the adoption of cloud computing include trust on service providers, loss of control and compliance issues. This paper is an attempt to explore security ＆ trust issues linked with cloud computing adoption in the Small and Medium Enterprises （SME） sector.

Given a protein sequence, how can we identify whether it is a metalloprotein or not? If it is, which main functional class and subclasses it belongs to? This is an important biological question because they are closely related to the biological function of an uncharacterized protein. Particularly, with the avalanche of protein sequences generated in the post genomic era and since conventional techniques are time consuming and expensive, it is highly desirable to develop an automated method by which one can get a fast and accurate answer to these questions. Here, a top-down predictor, called MetalloPred, is developed which consists of 3 level of hierarchical classification using cascade of neural networks from sequence derived features. The 1st layer of the prediction engine is for identifying a query protein as metalloprotein or not;the 2nd layer for the main functional class;and the 3rd layer for the sub-functional class. The overall success rates for all the three layers are higher than 60% that were obtained through rigorous cross-validation tests on the very stringent benchmark datasets in which none of the proteins has 30% sequence identity with any other in the same class or subclass. MetalloPred achieved good prediction accuracies and could nicely complement experimental approaches for identification of metal binding proteins. MetalloPred is freely available to be used in-house as a standalone and is accessible at http://***/assets/Metallopred/.

Performance of Distributed Energy Aware Routing (DEAR) Protocol with Cooperative Caching for Wireless Sensor Networks

Considering Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) in today’s scenario, sending and receiving uninterrupted sensory data remains a challenge to achieve with minimal latency and energy consumption as low as possible. Energy consumption is exponentially growing in computing devices such as computers, embedded systems, portable devices, and wireless sensor networks. Extensive research has been in practice recently to minimize energy consumption without compromising the Quality of Service (QoS) that is to provide data to the requester node with minimum Delay and high Reliability. In this paper, a cooperative caching algorithm is used with the proposed Distributed Energy Aware Routing (DEAR) protocol that attempts to minimize energy consumption by reducing the packet overhead in the network and also providing the data to the requester with minimum delay by retrieving requested datum from the nearby caching node available in the vicinity of the requester or sink node. The simulation results clearly show that the energy consumption is less when the grid-based analytical model is used against the star/cluster based model while keeping the same necessary attributes.

Today the multimedia content delivery chain faces many challenges. There are increasing terminal diversity, network heterogeneity and pressure to satisfy the user preferences. Therefore, the need of customized contents comes in light to provide users the best possible experience. In this paper, we address the problem of multimedia customization. For the customized content, we suggest the team spirit model (TSM) that uses the web edition content description, MPEG-4 standards and the MPEG-21 multimedia framework. It efficiently implements the video customization.

Achieving adequate control of postsurgical pain remains a challenge in patients undergoing Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA). The objective of this study was to assess if liposomal bupivacaine injected into the posterior capsule, in combination with a femoral nerve block and multimodal pain control regimen, would result in better pain control. The two groups were similar with regards to demographics and method of intraoperative anesthesia. Infiltration into the posterior capsule with liposomal bupivacaine had significantly lower resting pain scores compared to the saline group. Patients in the liposomal bupivacaine group also used slightly less breakthrough narcotic (5.75 to 4.31 mg of morphine equivalence). We recommend the use of infiltration of liposomal bupivacaine into the posterior capsule as an adjunct in multimodal analgesia in TKA patients to reduce pain and resultant narcotic use.
