In the Dinaric Foreland Basin (northern margin of Neotethys， Croatia)， in the foredeep/basinal area， pelitic hemipelagic/pelagic (H/P) deposits (marls) were deposited during Middle to Late Eocene. Syn-sedimentary tectonic movements， paleogeographic position and exchanges of short-lived hyperthermal episodes affected the sedimentation and related mineral and geochemical record of these deposits. Mineral (clay) assemblage carries signature of prevailing physical weathering with significant illite and chlorite content， but climatic seasonality is suggested by smectite-interlayered phases and sporadical increase of k.olinite content. Illite crystallinity varies significantly， and the lowest crystallinity is recorded for the Lutetian samples. Illite chemistry index is always bellow 0.5 being characteristic for Fe-Mg-rich illite. The geochemical records are the most prominent (CIA up to 76， CIW up to 91) for the Istrian Lutetian (42.3–40.5 Ma)， but also for Priabonian (35.8–34.3 Ma) samples of Hvar Island. The ICV values (the lowest 1.40 and the highest 10.85) of all studied samples fall above PAAS (ICV = 0.85) and point to their chemical immaturity. The Ga/Rb ratios are lower than 0.2 and k.O/Al2O3ratios are also low (0.16–0.22)， implying transition between cold and dry， and warm and humid climate， obviously trending among several warming episodes.

由于移动式机器人所携带的传感器资源有限,能够在时间维度上共享传感器资源,实现多目标跟踪,是智能化机器人重要的研究领域之一.本文提出了一个基于人类行为模型的时序注意控制算法,能够实现使用单个2自由度摄像头实时监控多个自由移动的目标物体.该算法基于以下三个控制原则:①最小化监控目标位置预测的不确定性以及各个目标物预测效果的差异;②最小化多目标跟踪过程中摄像头切换视角所需的能量消耗;③最大化能够呈现在摄像头视觉范围内的目标物体的个数.算法根据当前检测到目标信息,通过卡尔曼滤波,预测目标物的运动规律,选择下一时刻摄像头的最佳注意视角.该算法通过matlab仿真以及在移动式机器人实体上进行了实验验证,结果显示,该算法能够在时间顺序有效的共享单个摄像头资源,检测摄像头视角范围内的目标的位置,并根据上一个时间点的检测信息预测视角范围外的目标,实现跟踪多个目标物体,降低预测及跟踪的误差,并优化跟踪过程中切换摄像头视角的能量损耗.

We experimentally designed dispersion-managed repeaterless transmission systems with a pre-compensation and post-compensation technique using multi-channel-chirped fiber Bragg gratings. The repeaterless transmission link.supports a single channel（1548.51 nm） with a 10 Gbps repeaterless transmission system over 300 k. standard single-mode fiber（SSMF）. In the system design, two distributed Raman amplifiers（dras） were used to improve the signal level propagated along the 300 k. SSMF. The co-propagating dra provided 15 dB on–off gain and the counter-propagating produced 32 dB on–off gain at the signal wavelength. The experiment results show that the post-compensation configuration achieves an optimal performance with a bit error rate at 1 × 10-9.

AIM To estimate prevalence and phenotypic associations of selected inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)-associated genetic variants among Sri Lank.n patients. METHODS A case study of histologically confirmed ulcerative colitis(UC) or Crohn's disease(CD) patients with ≥ 1 year disease duration, who were compared to unrelated, gender-matched, healthy individuals as controls, was conducted at four major centers in Sri Lank.. Phenotypic data of the cases were obtained and all participants were genotyped for 16 selected genetic variants: IL12 B :rs1045431, IL23 R :rs11805303, ARPC2 :rs12612347, IRGM :rs13361189, IL26/IL22 :rs1558744, CDH1 :rs1728785, IL10 :rs3024505, FCGR2 A :rs3737240, PTGER4 :rs4613763, IL17 REL/PIM3 :rs5771069, HNF4 a :rs6017342, STAT3 :rs744166, SMURF1 :rs7809799, LAMB1 :rs886774, HLA-DRB5, DQA1, DRB1, dra :rs9268853, MST1, UBA7, and APEH :rs9822268. The genotypes of all variants were in Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium(P > 10^(-3)). To account for multiple hypothesis testing, P-values k.ns. Significant positive associations were noted between rs886774(LAMB1-gene) and UC(odds ratio(OR) = 1.42, P = 0.001). UC patients with rs886774 had mild disease(OR = 1.66, P < 0.001) and remained in remission(OR = 1.48, P < 0.001). A positive association was noted between rs10045431(IL 12 B gene) and upper gastrointestinal involvement in CD(OR = 4.76, P = 0.002). CONCLUSION This confirms the heterogeneity of allelic mutations in South Asians compared to Caucasians. Most SNPs and disease associations reported here have not been described in South Asians.

IGF-I and IGF-II are ubiquitously expressed growth factors that have profoun d effects on the growth and differentiation of many cell types and tissues, incl uding cells of the CNS. In biologic fluids, most IGFs are bound to one of six IG F binding proteins (IGFBPs 1-6). Increasing evidence strongly supports a role f or IGF-I in CNS development, as it promotes neuronal proliferation and survival . However, little is k.own about IGF-I and its homolog IGF-II and their carrie r proteins, IGFBPs, during the neonatal period in which brain size increases dra matically, myelination tak.s place, and neurons show limited capacity to prolife rate. Herein, we have determined the concentrations of IGF-I, IGF-II, IGFBP-I , and IGFBP-3 in cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) samples that were collected from children who were 1 wk.to 18 y of age. The concentrations of IGF-I, IGFBP-I, and IGFBP-3 in CS F from children k.levels during puberty. Hig her concentrations of IGF-I, IGFBP-I, and IGFBP-3 in the CSF of very young ch ildren suggest that these proteins might participate in the active processes of myelination and synapse formation in the developing nervous system. We propose t hat IGF-I and certain IGFBPs are lik.ly necessary for normal CNS development du ring critical stages of neonatal brain growth and development.
