Th. study aimed to evaluate th. differences in secretion of NT-proBNP and conventional cardiac markers in patients with.STE-ACS vs NSTE-ACS as a trial to solve th. dilemma of th. early detection of myocardial isch.mia in NSTE-ACS. Sixty two patients with.acute coronary syndrome (ACS) divided into 2 groups according to ECG: group1 with.elevated ST segment in ECG (STE-ACS) and group 2 with.non elevated ST segment (NSTE-ACS).Twenty h.alth. subjects with.match.d age and sex were enrolled as control group in th.s study. In th. sera of all subjects, levels of NT –proBNP, CK-mB and troponin-T were measured by different kits. CK-mB and TnT were both.significantly h.gh.r in STE-ACS patients compared to NSTE-ACS patients. Conversely, NT-proBNP was significantly h.gh.r in NSTE-ACS patients th.n STE-ACS especially with.n 4 h.urs from onset of ch.st pain. Comparison between NT-proBNP, TnT and CK-mB levels by ROC curves revealed area under th. curves = 0.68, 0.31, 0.17 respectively. NT-proBNP at cutoff 415 pg/mL in NSTE-ACS patients h.d h.gh.r sensitivity and specificity (92%, 39%;respectively) th.n oth.r markers th.t will h.lp in earl diagnosis of NSTE-ACS.

Nigella sativa and matricaria ch.momilla are extensively consumed as tea or tonic. Despite th.ir widespread use as a h.me remedy, relatively few trials evaluated th.ir benefits in neph.oprotection. h.nce, th.s study evaluates th. neph.oprotective effects of supportive treatments (N. sativa, m. ch.momilla and vitamin E) in cisplatin neph.otoxicity rat model. Eigh.y rats divided into 10 groups, of 8 animals each. Th. first group (G1) injected with.saline intra-pretoneal (i.p). G2 injected with.5 mg/kg cisplatin i.p on zero day of experiment and repeated 4 times, with.5 days free interval. G3-G10 received daily supportive treatments, started 5 days before th. experiment (–5day). Concomitantly G4, G6, G8 and G10 injected with.5 mg/kg cisplatin i.p like G2. On day sixteen, animal scarified, serum and/or kidney tissue were used to determine kidney function tests (serum urea, creatinine, NAG, β-gal), oxidative stress indices (NO, LPO), antioxidant activities (SOD), sulph.r compounds (GGT, GSh. total th.ols ), apoptotic indices (cath.psin D, DNA fragmentation), two minerals (Ca2+ and zn2+). Cisplatin caused marked elevation in serum GGT th.t reduced signifi-cantly in group received m. ch.momilla with.cisplatin (P h.re is a correlation between GGT and NAG in cisplatin group (r = 0.731 p h.t may suggest one of possible mech.nisms of renal injury by cisplatin. m. ch.momilla followed by N. sativa and vitamin E improved th. bioch.mical and path.logical renal injury, as determined by increasing th. body weigh., normalizing th. kidney functions, decreasing th. oxidative stress markers, improving th. apoptotic markers, minimizing th. path.logical ch.nges. h.nce, N. sativa and m. ch.momilla will be a promising neph.oprotective agents for reducing cisplatin neph.otoxicity, most probably, by antioxidants effects and inh.bition GGT production, respectively.

Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19) h.s affected millions of people worldwide and caused more th.n6.3 million death.(World h.alth.Organization, June 2022). Increased attempts h.ve been made to develop deep learning meth.ds to diagnose COVID-19 based on computed tomograph.(CT) lung images. It is a ch.llenge to reproduce and obtain th. CT lung data, because it is not publicly available. Th.s paper introduces a new generalized framework to segment and classify CT images and determine wh.th.r a patient is tested positive or negative for COVID-19 based on lung CT images. In th.s work, many different strategies are explored for th. classification ***50 and VGG16 models are applied to classify CT lung images into COVID-19 positive or negative. Also,VGG16 and ReNet50 combined with.U-Net, wh.ch.is one of th. most used arch.tectures in deep learning for image segmentation, are employed to segment CT lung images before th. classifying process to increase system performance. moreover, th. image size dependent normalization tech.ique(ISDNT) and Wiener filter are utilized as th. preprocessing tech.iques to enh.nce images and noise suppression. Additionally, transfer learning and data augmentation tech.iques are performed to solve th. problem of COVID-19 CT lung images deficiency, th.refore th. over-fitting of deep models can be avoided. Th. proposed frameworks, wh.ch.comprised of end-to-end, VGG16,ResNet50, and U-Net with.VGG16 or ResNet50, are applied on th. dataset th.t is sourced from COVID-19 lung CT images in Kaggle. Th. classification results sh.w th.t using th. preprocessed CT lung images as th. input for U-Net h.brid with.ResNet50 ach.eves th. best performance. Th. proposed classification model ach.eves th. 98.98%accuracy(ACC), 98.87% area under th. ROC curve(AUC), 98.89% sensitivity(Se), 97.99 % precision(Pr), 97.88%F-score, and 1.8974-seconds computational time.

Recently th.re h.s been a growing trend to encourage learning outside th. classrooms, socalled ＇universities with.ut walls.＇ To th.s end, mech.nisms for learning beyond th. boundaries of classroom settings can provide enh.nced and ch.llenging learning opportunities. Th.s paper introduces Appreciative Inquiry （AI） as a mech.nism th.t integrates various forms of inquiry into learning. AI is operationalized as a Walking Tour assessment project wh.ch.was introduced as part of th. class Cultural end Beh.viourel Fectors in Arch.tecture and Urbanism delivered at th. Department of Arch.tecture, University of Strath.lyde - Glasgow wh.re th.rty-two master of Arch.tecture students were enrolled. Th. Walking Tour assessment involved th. exploration of 6 factors th.t delineate key design ch.racteristics in th.ee retrofitted buildings in Glasgow： Th.atre Royal, Reid Building, and Th. Ligh.h.use. Working in groups, students assessed factors th.t included context, massing, interface, wayfinding, socio-spatial, and comfort. Findings reveal th.t students were able to focus on critical issues th.t go beyond th.se adopted in traditional teach.ng practices wh.le accentuating th. value of introducing AI and utilizing th. built environment as an educational medium. Conclusions are drawn to emph.size th. need for structured learning experiences th.t enable making judgments about building qualities wh.le effectively interrogating various ch.racteristics.

BACKGROUND Assessing liver fibrosis is important for predicting th. efficacy of direct-acting antivirals(DAAs)and patient ***-invasive tech.iques to assess liver fibrosis are becoming ***,serum mac-2 binding protein glycosylation isomer(m2BPGi)was identified as a non-invasive marker of liver *** To investigate th. diagnostic accuracy of m2BPGi in assessing liver fibrosis in patients with.ch.onic h.patitis C(Ch.)treated with.*** From December 2017 to August 2018,80 treatment-naive adult patients with.Ch. wh. were eligible for DAAs th.rapy were consecutively enrolled in th.s observational coh.rt *** 12 weeks,65 patients were treated with.sofosbuvir/daclatasvir,and 15 patients were treated with.sofosbuvir/daclatasvir and a weigh.-based dose of ribavirin at knowledge and tech.ology association for h.patitis C management clinic,Cairo,*** measured serum m2BPGi levels,PAPAS index,fibrosis-4(FIB-4)score and liver stiffness measurements(LSm)at baseline and 12 weeks after th. end of *** m2BPGi levels were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** All patients ach.eved sustained virologic response(SVR12)(100%).Serum m2BPGi levels,LSm,FIB-4 score and PAPAS index decreased significantly at SVR12(Pm m2BPGi levels correlated positively with.LSm at baseline and SVR12(Pmpared with.th. New well-preserved rudist materials come from th. Barremian–Turonian marine formations in th. Yelleg, minsh.rah. maaza, and Ragh.wi sections in North.Sinai, north.rn Egypt. Th.re, 17 discovered rudist species belonging to 13 genera and seven taxonomic families are described in detail as follows: Eoradiolites plicatus(Conrad), Eoradiolites liratus(Conrad), Praeradiolites ponsianus(d'Arch.ac), Arch.eoradiolites sp., Bournonia africana Douvillé, Bournonia fourtaui Douville, Biradiolites lombricalis(d'Orbigny), Biradiolites zumoffeni Douville, Radiolites lewyi lewyi Parnes, Radiolites sauvagesi(d'h.mbres-Firmas), Durania arnaudi(Ch.ffat), Toucasia carinata(math.ron), Toucasia sp., Neocaprina ragh.wiensis Steuber and Bach.ann, Sellaea sp., Ich.h.osarcolites sp. and h.roiopleura sp.. Th. Cenomanian deposits in th. north.rn Eastern desert of Egypt only contain E. liratus. Th. domination of th. Cenomanian rudist species in North.Sinai, h.wever, is attributed to ch.nges in th. platform, wh.ch.passes mainly from carbonate in th. north.to siliciclastics in th. south. Th. presence of h.riopleura sp. in th. late Barremian-early Aptian deposits is documented for th. first time, wh.ch.suggests th. expansion of taxa of th. genus h.riopleura Douville to North.Sinai during th.s interval. Th. age of th. rudist species is documented from th. late Barremian-Turonian formations, with.th.ir geograph.c distribution in th. mediterranean region considered..

Doh., Qatar is continuously positioning itself at th. forefront of international urbanism with.different qualities of expression in terms of economy, culture, and global outlook, and is ch.racterized by fast-tracked urban development process with.large-scale urban interventions in th. old center. Alth.ugh.th. unprecedented urban growth.of th.s city continues to be a subject of discussion, little attention h.s been given to investigate th. new interventions and th. resulting effects th.y h.ve on th. old center. Th.s study aims to examine th.ee important urban interventions, namely, th. museum of Islamic Art, th. reconstruction of th. traditional market called Souq Waqif, and th. msh.ireb urban regeneration project. It examines local and global issues, universal standard practices, and traditional knowledge. Th.s study employs a descriptive analysis of th.se interventions to explore th. impact of ch.nge in th. old center, exemplified by socio-spatial and typo-morph.logical aspects. Reference is made to a number of empirical studies, including beh.vioral mapping, GIS population statistics, and analysis of h.storical maps. Results analytically narrate th. reactions of th.se interventions to th. possibility of simultaneously adopting universal practices with.local knowledge, and wh.th.r prioritizing local influences would represent narrow-mindedness in sh.ping th. city.

Fluctuations in commodity prices sh.uld influence mining operations to continually update and adjust th.ir mine plans in order to capture additional value under new market conditions. One of th. adjustments is th. ch.nge in production sequencing. Th.s paper seeks to present a meth.d for quantifying th. net present value(NPV) th.t may be directly attributed to th. ch.nge in commodity prices. Th. evaluation is conducted across ten copper price scenarios. Discrete event simulation combined with.mixed integer programming was used to attain a viable production strategy and to generate optimal mine plans. Th. analysis indicates th.t an increase in prices results in an increased in th. NPV from$96.57m to $755.65m. In an environment wh.re mining operations must be striving to gain as much.value as possible from th. righ.s to exploit a finite resource, it is not appropriate to keep operating under th. same mine plan if commodity prices alter during th. course of operations.
