We rep.rt on the magnetohydrodynamic imp.ct on the axisymmetric flow of Al_(2)O_(3)/Cu nanop.rticles susp.nded in H_(2)O p.st a stretched/shrinked *** the use of p.rtial differential equations and the corresp.nding thermop.ysical characteristics of nanop.rticles,the p.ysical flow p.ocess is *** resultant nonlinear system of p.rtial differential equations is converted into a system of ordinary differential equations using the suitable similarity *** transformed differential equations are solved *** of the magnetic p.rameter,solid volume fraction and stretching/shrinking p.rameter on momentum and temp.ra.ure distribution have been analyzed and interp.eted *** skin friction and Nusselt number were also *** addition,existence of dual solution was deduced for the shrinking sheet and unique solution for the stretching ***,Al_(2)O_(3)/H_(2)O nanofluid flow has better thermal conductivity on comp.ring with Cu/H_(2)O ***,it was found that the first solutions of the stream are stable and p.ysically realizable,whereas those of the second ones are unstable.

Background:No studies have documented long-term trends in aboveground biomass(AGB)for mixed-dip.erocarp.forests(mDF),the dominant rain forest typ. in trop.cal wet equatorial *** our study,we sought to document such trends over forty years across three sites rep.esenting lowland to lower montane ***:To do this,we established fifty 100 m×25 m p.ots in 1978 across three sites samp.ed along an elevation gradient,identified as mature old-growth *** measured trees for diameter at breast height that we identified to sp.cies and *** took wood samp.es to calculate sp.cies wood-sp.cific *** re-measured p.ots in 1998 and again in ***:We show standing AGB for all sites combined to be 517.52 mg·ha^(-1)in 1978,but this declined by 17%over 40 years to 430.11 mg·ha^(-1).No differences exist among sites in AGB p.imarily because of considerable within site variation;but interactions of time with site show declines across sites were not uniform,one remained about the *** few sp.cies rep.esented a high p.op.rtion of the AGB with the top.five sp.cies comp.ising between 34%and 65%,dep.nding up.n site and year *** sp.cies,mesua nagassarium,rep.esented a disp.op.rtionately large amount of AGB and decline over time,p.rticularly at the low elevation ***:Our results are directly relevant to estimating AGB and standing carbon sequestered in *** study is the first to demonstrate varying but overall,declining trends in amounts of AGB among forests making p.edictions of biomass and standing carbon in mDF difficult over wide regions.

A reduction in building occup.ncy can lead to stagnant water in p.umbing,and the p.tential consequences for water quality have gained increasing *** investigate this,a study was conducted during the COVID-19 p.ndemic,focusing on water quality in four institutional *** of these buildings were old(>58 years)and large(>19,000 m2),while the other two were new(>13 years)and small(m2).The study revealed significant decreases in water usage in the small buildings,whereas usage remained unchanged in the large *** analysis found that residual chlorine was rarely detectable in cold/drinking water ***,the p.,dissolved oxygen,total organic carbon,and total cell count levels in the first draw of cold water samp.es were similar across all ***,the ranges of heavy metal concentrations in large buildings were greater than observed in small ***(Cu),lead(p.),and manganese(mn)sp.radically exceeded drinking water limits at cold water fixtures,with maximum concentrations of 2.7 mg Cu L^(-1),45.4 mg p. L^(-1),1.9 mg mn L^(-1).Flushing the p.umbing for 5 min resulted in detectable residual at fixtures in three buildings,but even after 125 min of flushing in largest and oldest building,no residual chlorine was detected at the fixture closest to the building's p.int of *** the p.ndemic,the building owner conducted fixture flushing,where one to a few fixtures were op.rated p.r visit in buildings with hundreds of fixtures and multip.e ***,further research is needed to understand the fundamental p.ocesses that control faucet water quality from the service line to the *** the absence of this knowledge,building owners should create and use as-built drawings to develop.flushing p.ans and conduct p.riodic water testing.

Background: Non-imp.antable bone anchored hearing devices (BCHDs) are utilized for p.tients with conductive or mixed hearing loss who are unsuitable for conventional hearing aids or have unresolved middle ear issues. These devices can be surgically imp.anted or attached using adhesive p.ates, dental sticks, elastic headbands, or bone conduction sp.ctacles. Op.imal fitting of bone conduction sp.ctacles requires ap.rop.iate frame selection and contact p.essure in the temp.ral and mastoid areas. The ANSI S3.6 and DIN EN ISO 389-3 standards recommend a contact area of ap.roximately 1.75 cm2 and a maximum force of 5.4 N for effective sound transmission and comfort. methods: This study aimed to evaluate the technical fit and mechanical stability of universal bone conduction hearing sp.ctacles comp.red to established systems. A Sen-p.essure 02 thin-film sensor connected to an Arduino uno R3 board measured contact force in the temp.ral and mastoid areas. Several BCHDs were tested, including the Bruckhoff la belle BC D50/70, radioear B71 headset, radioear B71 elastic headband, Cochlear Baha SoundArc m, and Cochlear Baha elastic headband, on a p.C artificial head, with data analyzed using ANOVA and LSD p.st hoc tests. Results: The la belle BC D50/70 sp.ctacles showed comp.rable contact force to established BCHDs, ensuring adequate sound transmission and comfort. Significant differences were observed between the systems, with the radioear B71 headset exhibiting the highest forces. The la belle BC D50/70 had similar forces to the radioear B71 elastic headband. Conclusion: The la belle BC D50/70 universal bone conduction hearing sp.ctacles are a technically equivalent alternative to established BCHDs, maintaining p.essure below 5.4 N. Future research should exp.ore the imp.ct of different contact forces on p.rformance and comfort, and the integration of force control in modified sp.ctacles. 基于美国页岩油气勘探开发历程的回顾,对主要页岩盆地的地质演化、主要页岩层系的油气地质特征及勘探开发进展进行系统梳理和总结。美国重要页岩盆地的富烃页岩主要发育于6个地质时期:中奥陶世、中—晚泥盆世、早石炭世(中—晚密西西比世)、早二叠世、晚侏罗世和晚白垩世(塞诺曼期—土伦期),构造沉积环境主要包括克拉通内盆地、前陆盆地和被动大陆边缘盆地。古生界富烃页岩主要分布于以下6个盆地:阿巴拉契亚盆地(尤蒂卡页岩和马塞勒斯页岩)、阿纳达科盆地(伍德福德页岩)、威利斯顿盆地(巴肯页岩)、阿卡马盆地(费耶特维尔页岩)、沃思堡盆地(巴内特页岩)和二叠盆地(狼营组和斯帕瑞组/骨泉组页岩)。中生界富烃页岩主要发育在西墨西哥湾盆地(海恩斯维尔组和鹰滩组)和落基山盆地群(以丹佛和粉河盆地的尼尔布拉勒组页岩为主)。通过对各页岩区带的详细分析发现,页岩的岩相和矿物成分存在差异,“页岩储层”并非只是页岩,很多情况下页岩油气还产自粉砂岩和碳酸盐岩等多种岩石类型。美国的页岩油气资源丰富,页岩油地质资源量超过0.246×1012 t,页岩气地质资源量超过290×1012 m3。在开启“页岩革命”的水平井水力压裂技术出现之前,美国经过了长达20年的勘探开发实践和理论技术积累。自2007年至2023年,美国页岩油气产量从约11.2×104t/d油当量增加到超过300.0×104t/d油当量,2017年页岩油气产量超过了常规油气,2023年在油气总产量中的占比增加到60%以上。页岩油气的开发主要得益于钻完井技术的改进,“立体开发”的攻关,以及重复压裂、提高原油采收率和“u”形井等技术的应用。基于美国丰富的页岩资源基础和技术的不断进步,页岩油气的产量将继续为全美的油气生产做出更大贡献。
