Ferrite features in the simulated transition zone welded with CaF_(2)-SiO_(2)-MnO fluxes containing various MnO contents have been *** laser scanning microscopy has been applied to simulate the thermal cycling of the transition zone and the phase transformations during cooling have been in-situ *** has been found that the appearance temperature for ferrite side plate decreases with increasing Mn content in the weld metals caused by MnO content ***,growth rates for both ferrite side plate and acicular ferrite are significantly enhanced with a higher Mn content of weld ***,from the statistical fractions of salient microstructures,for all samples,the acicular ferrite,grain bounda.y ferrite,and polygonal ferrite take over more than 90%.It has also been demonstrated that with the increase in Mn content,the ferrite side plate fraction increases slightly from 5%to 10%and the acicular ferrite fraction shows a tendency of first increasing and then decreasing,which experiences the maximum with the flux containing 30 wt.%*** phenomenon is believed to be controlled by the O and Mn contents in weld metals synergistically.

The configuration and quality of reinforcements, as well as the robustness of interfacial bonding,holding a critical significance in determining the concurrence between electrical conductivity and mechanical strength in metal matrix composites. In this study, citric acid was employed as the precursor for synthesizing multiscale carbon nanomaterials(graphene quantum dots and graphene, abbreviated as GQDs and GN). The GQDs@GN/Cu composites were fabricated through a segmented ball milling process in conjunction with subsequent spark plasma sintering(SPS). The intragranular GQDs and intergranular GQDs@GN had synergistically reinforced Cu composites through Orowan strengthening, load transfer strengthening and refinement strengthening. Furthermore,the robust interface bonding between GQDs@GN and Cu effectively mitigated interfacial impeda.ce stemming from electron-bounda.y scattering. The yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the GQDs@GN/Cu composites were recorded as 270 and 314 MPa, respectively, representing an improvement of 92 and 28% over pure Cu, while maintaining electrical conductivity at a level comparable to that of pure Cu. This study advances the understanding of the possibility of realizing a synergistic compatibility between electrical conductivity and mechanical strength in Cu composites.

The exposure patterns of pest control and disinfection workers have changed after the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)outbreak,but the health risks of chemical exposure have not been *** identified these workers’chemical exposure patterns and risks before and after the COVID-19 *** used da.a conducted between 2018(pre-pandemic)and 2021(post-pandemic)from three-year cross-sectional surveys on pest control and disinfection *** and dermal exposure concentrations were estimated using equations based on a biocida. product risk assessment model from the Korean National Institute of Environmental *** non-carcinogenic and carcinogenic risks of chemicals were calculated using the United States Environmental Protection Agency risk assessment *** found that the annual work frequency(50^(th)percentile)of foggers using disinfectants increased the most among all the work types,from 140 uses/year to 176 uses/year after the COVID-19 ***,all chemicals’non-carcinogenic and carcinogenic risks increased regardless of exposure *** the worst scenario(95^(th)percentile),the margin of exposure for citric acid,benzethonium chloride,benzyl-C12-16-alkyldimethyl chlorides,and sodium chlorite of inhalation exposure,and isopropyl alcohol and benzyl-C12-16-alkyldimethyl chlorides of dermal exposure were acceptable(>100)before the COVID-19outbreak but became unacceptable(10^(-6))before and after the COVID-19 outbreak but comparatively high after the COVID-19 ***,significantly more workers experienced health symptoms after the COVID-19outbreak(p<0.05),with the most common being muscle lethargy(31%),skin/face stinging(28.7%),and breath shortness/neck pain(24.1%).

In this work,an alternative alkali-activated cement(AAC)made of ladle slag precursor mixed with sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate has been developed to enhance the bearing capacity of estuarine soils in coastal conditions via deep soil mixing(DSM).The AAC was optimized to use a low reactivity precursor(ladle slag)and to deal with a contaminated high-water content natural sediment cured under *** material performance was analysed by comparison to a mixture made with Portland cement and cured in the same *** and unconfined compressive strength tests as well as seismic waves measurements after 3-,7-,14-and 28-d curing were performed to obtain a relationship between elastic stiffness and strength with curing time for both ***,the AAC mix demonstrated superior strength results,exhibiting almost double flexural and compressive strengths after 28 d compared to the Portland cement *** AAC mix also showed a higher rate of stiffness increase than the Portland cement mix,which has a higher initial stiffness at young ages but lower stiffness *** analysis confirmed that the proposed AAC could effectively immobilise any contaminants from soil or *** effect of curing under stress was analysed in triaxial compression tests and found to be insignificant,indicating that laboratory da.a obtained without stress curing can represent the material's behaviour in a DSM column,which will cure under the weight of the column.

The scenario simulation analysis of water environmental emergencies is very important for risk prevention and control,and emergency *** quickly and accurately simulate the transport and diffusion process of high-intensity pollutants during sudden environmental water pollution events,in this study,a high-precision pollution transport and diffusion model for unstructured grids based on Compute Unified Device Architecture(CUda.is *** finite volume method of a total variation diminishing limiter with the Kong proposed r-factor is used to reduce numerical diffusion and oscillation errors in the simulation of pollutants under sharp concentration conditions,and graphics processing unit acceleration technology is used to improve computational *** advection diffusion process of the model is verified numerically using two benchmark cases,and the efficiency of the model is evaluated using an engineering *** results demonstrate that the model perform well in the simulation of material transport in the presence of sharp ***,it has high computational *** acceleration ratio is 46 times the single-thread acceleration effect of the original *** efficiency of the accelerated model meet the requirements of an engineering application,and the rapid early warning and assessment of water pollution accidents is achieved.
