We analyze the effect of tilting and artificial magnetic flux, on the energy bands structure for the system and the corresponding tunneling dynamics for bosons with various initial configura.ions in the diamond lattice chain, where intriguing and significant phenomena occur, including Landau–Zener tunneling, Bloch oscillations, and localization *** vertical tilting and artificial magnetic flux may alter the structure of energy levels（dispersion structure or flat band）,and enforce the occurrence of Landau–Zener tunneling, which scans the whole of the Bloch bands. We find that, transitions among Landau–Zener tunneling, Bloch oscillations, and localization phenomenon, are not only closely related to the energy bands structure, but also depends on the initial configura.ion of bosons in the diamond lattice chain. As a consequence,Landau–Zener tunneling, Bloch oscillations, and localization phenonmenon of bosons always counteract and are complementary with each other in the diamond lattice chain.

Ginkgo biloba,the last extant representative of a lineage of Mesozoic gymnosperms,is one of the few seed plants with an exceptionally long(~300 Myr)evolutionary history free of genome-wide duplications(polyploidy).Despite this genome conservatism,we have recently found a viable spontaneous tetraploid Ginkgo sapling during routine screening of several plants,demonstra.ing that natural polyploidy is possible in *** we provide a much wider flow cytometry survey of ploidy in some European Ginkgo collections,and own seedlings(>2200 individuals and~200 cultivars).We found a surprisingly high level of ploidy variation in modern-day Ginkgo and documented altogether 13 haploid,3 triploid,and 10 tetraploid Ginkgo plants or cultivars,most of them being morphologically distinct from common *** frequently produced polyploid(dihaploid)buds or *** showed some genome size *** surveyed plants provide a unique resource for future Ginkgo research and breeding,and they might be used to accelerate the modern diversification of this nearly extinct plant lineage.

Partitioning the respiratory components of soil surface CO2 efflux is important in understanding carbon turnover and in identifying the soil carbon sink/source function in response to land-use change. The sensitivities of soil respira.ion components on changing climate patterns are currently not fully understood. We used trench and isotopic methods to separate total soil respira.ion into autotrophic （ra） and heterotrophic components （RH）. This study was undertaken on a Robinia pseudoacacia L. plantation in the southern Taihang Mountains, China. The fractionation of soil ^13CO2 was analyzed by comparing the δ^13C of soil CO2 extracted from buried steel tubes with results from Gas Vapor Probe Kits at a depth of 50 *** the preliminary test （2.03‰）. The results showed that the contribution of autotrophic respira.ion （fra） increased with increasing soil *** contribution of heterotrophic respira.ion （fR/4） declined with increasing soil depth. The contribution of autotrophic respira.ion was similar whether estimated by the trench method （fra, 23.50%） or by the isotopic method in which a difference in value of ^13C between soil and plant prevailed in the natural state （RC, 21.03%）. The experimental error produced by the trench method was insignificant as compared with that produced by the isotopic method, providing a technical basis for further investigations.

The aim of this scientific research was to study the influence of various diets (ketogenic, low carb, mixed) on teeth and saliva structure of healthy individuals. The health condition of teeth and the influence of diet (sweets, water intake) were investigated using the questionnaires which were statistically processed by descriptive and inductive statistics. Saliva was examined using synchronous fluorescent fingerprint (SFF) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The statistical evaluation of answers of respondents using the questionnaires about intake of sweets in their diet showed significant influence of sugars on formation of tooth decay of diet. The intake of water (volume and frequency) did not show significant influence on formation of tooth decay. Endogenous fluorescence and surface structure of saliva differed in healthy subjects with different diet. The most organized surface structure showed low carb diet (without crystals). The least organized surface structure showed ketogenic diet with the big crystals (1 - 2 μm). Untra.itional methods (SFF and AFM) enable the new, sensitive and quick analysis of the mixture of saliva. Saliva of individuals with low carb diet showed the most organized structure. Low content of sugar in diet is important possibility of the prevention before dental carries.

Noble metal is usually used to improve the gas sensing performance of metal oxide semiconductor(MOS)due to its better catalytic *** this work,we reported a synthesis of Pd/ZnO nanocomposite by an in situ reduction with ascorbic acid(AA).it was found that Pd/ZnO sensor has excellent selectivity to CO and the response of the Pd/ZnO sensor towards 100 ppm CO was as high as 15(ra/Rg),obviously higher than that of the pristine ZnO sensor(1.4)when the working temperature is 220℃.Moreover,the pure ZnO sensor almost has no selectivity to CO,but the Pd/ZnO sensor has excellent selectivity to CO,which may be ascribed to the electronic sensitization of *** present results demonstrate that the Pd can significantly improve the gas-sensing performance of metal oxide semiconductor and the obtained sensor has great potential in monitoring coal mine gas.

Background: Understanding the composition of the microbial community and its functional capacity during weaning is important for pig production as bacteria play important roles in the pig’s health and growth performance. However,limited information is available regarding the composition and function of the gut microbiome of piglets in ***, we performed 16 S rRna gene and whole metagenome shotgun sequencing of Dna from fecal samples from healthy piglets during weaning to measure microbiome shifts, and to identify the potential contribution of the early-life microbiota in shaping piglet health with a focus on microbial stress responses, carbohydrate and amino acid ***: The analysis of 16 S rR na genes and whole metagenome shotgun sequencing revealed significant compositional and functional differences between the fecal microbiome in nursing and weaned piglets. The fecal microbiome of the nursing piglets showed higher relative abundance of bacteria in the genus Bacteroides with abundant gene families related to the utilization of lactose and galactose. Prevotel a and Lactobacil us were enriched in weaned piglets with an enrichment for the gene families associated with carbohydrate and amino acid metabolism. in addition, an analysis of the functional capacity of the fecal microbiome showed higher abundances of genes associated with heat shock and oxidative stress in the metagenome of weaned piglets compared to nursing ***: Overal, our data show that microbial shifts and changes in functional capacities of the piglet fecal microbiome resulted in potential reductions in the effects of stress, including dietary changes that occur during *** results provide us with new insights into the piglet gut microbiome that contributes to the growth of the animal.
