In digital soil mapping(dSM),a fundamental assumption is that the spatial variability of the target variable can be explained by the predictors or environmental *** to adequately sample the predictors have been well documented,with the conditioned Latin hypercube sampling(cLHS)algorithm receiving the most attention in the dSM *** advances in sampling design,a critical gap remains in determining the number of samples required for dSM *** propose a simple workflow and function coded in R language to determine the minimum sample size for the cLHS algorithm based on histograms of the predictor variables using the Freedman-diaconis rule for determining optimal bin *** preprocessing was included to correct for multimodal and non-normally distributed data,as these can affect sample size determination from the *** on a user-selected quantile range(QR)for the sample plan,the densities of the histogram bins at the upper and lower bounds of the QR were used as a scaling factor to determine minimum sample *** technique was applied to a field-scale set of environmental covariates for a well-sampled agricultural study site near Guelph,Ontario,Canada,and tested across a range of *** results showed increasing minimum sample size with an increase in the QR *** sample size increased from 44 to 83 when the QR increased from 50% to 95% and then increased exponentially to 194 for the 99%*** technique provides an estimate of minimum sample size that can be used as an input to the cLHS algorithm.

肺孢子菌能够感染多种哺乳动物的肺脏,并在免疫受抑制的个体引起肺孢子菌肺炎.研究表明,肺孢子菌分离株在系统进化树上分为两大枝,二者所含菌株分别来源于灵长类和啮齿类.基于宿主特异性以及dNA序列和形态学差异,每一分枝内的菌株又可分为不同的种.本研究采用地塞米松免疫抑制法,导致沙鼠(28/35)肺组织感染.对18S,5.8SrRNA和rRNA内转录间隔区基因序列,以及线粒体核糖体大亚基基因的部分序列分析表明,本实验沙鼠源肺孢子菌与啮齿类动物来源的同属一枝,但明显区别于其他啮齿类动物来源的菌株,应考虑是一个独立的菌种.

蓝氏贾第鞭毛虫（简称贾第虫）细胞内的磷酸丙糖异构酶（ｔｉｍ）基因编码磷酸丙糖异构酶。对扩增后的ｔｉｍ基因做序列分析，可对来源于不同地理位置和／或不同宿主的贾第虫株进行基因分型，并以此确定它们之间的遗传学关系。为了确定中国虫株的基因型，我们对分离自北京（Ｃ１），四川（Ｃ２）和福建（Ｃ３）３株人源贾第虫ｔｉｍ基因序列进行了分析。结果表明，Ｃ１和Ｃ２具有相同的遗传学特性，可划归为目前公认的分型系统中的第３型（ＧＳ）。Ｃ３含有两种不同的遗传学类型，即第１型（ＷＢ）和第３型（ＧＳ），表明Ｃ３可能为两种不同遗传学类型的混合株。本研究结果进一步表明，用ｔｉｍ基因扩增和序列分析方法，可探寻世界范围内贾第虫株之间的遗传学关系。

Emerging regenerative cell therapies for alveolar bone loss have begun to explore the use of cell laden hydrogels for minimally invasive surgery to treat small and spatially complex maxilla-oral ***,the oral cavity presents a unique and challenging environment for in vivo bone tissue engineering,exhibiting both hard and soft periodontal tissue as well as acting as key biocenosis for many distinct microbial communities that interact with both the external environment and internal body systems,which will impact on cell fate and subsequent treatment ***,we design and bioprint a facile 3d in vitro model of a human dentine interface to probe the effect of the dentine surface on human mesenchymal stem cells(hMSCs)encapsulated in a microporous hydrogel *** demonstrate that the dentine substrate induces osteogenic differentiation of encapsulated hMSCs,and that both dentine andβ-tricalcium phosphate substrates stimulate extracellular matrix production and maturation at the gel-media interface,which is distal to the gel-substrate *** findings demonstrate the potential for long-range effects on stem cells by mineralized surfaces during bone tissue engineering and provide a framework for the rapid development of 3d dentine-bone interface models.

Charge density wave(CdW)is a phenomenon that occurs in materials,accompanied by changes in their intrinsic electronic *** study of CdW and its modulation in materials holds tremendous significance in materials research,as it provides a unique approach to controlling the electronic properties of ***_(2) is a typical layered material with a CdW phase at low *** V substitution for Ti in TiSe_(2),we tuned the carrier concentration in V_(x)Ti_(1-x)Se_(2) to study how its electronic structures ***-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES)shows that the band-folding effect is sustained with the doping level up to 10%,indicating the persistence of the CdW phase,even though the band structure is strikingly different from that of the parent compound TiSe_(2).Though CdW can induce the band fold effect with a driving force from the perspective of electronic systems,our studies suggest that this behavior could be maintained by lattice distortion of the CdW phase,even if band structures deviate from the electron-driven CdW *** work provides a constraint for understanding the CdW mechanism in TiSe_(2),and highlights the role of lattice distortion in the band-folding effect.

Conventional solid-state nanopore measurements sense all translocating entities,necessitating meticulous analysis to differentiate target *** address this,we have established a selective assay with the platform that has shown utility in quantifying several nucleic acid ***,limited detection efficiency and intrinsic noise have so far limited assay resolution to 10 *** in this value require manipulation of translocation ***,we report the effects of NaCl conditions on assay *** first investigate symmetric conditions,finding sensitivity increases with salt concentration but selectivity is maximized at 1.0 M *** then probe asymmetric conditions,showing a remarkable impact on assay sensitivity and selectivity when measurement buffer NaCl concentration in the reservoir with the translocating molecules is low and the opposite reservoir is *** optimum conditions,we demonstrate detection of target biomolecules down to a concentration of 100 pM which is an improvement of 2 orders of magnitude over past results.

We study embeddings between generalised Triebel-Lizorkin-Morrey spaces εφ,p,qs(Rd) and within the scales of further generalised Morrey smoothness spaces like Nφ,p,qs(Rd),Bp,qs,φ(Rd) and Fp,qs,φ(Rd).The latter have been investigated in a recent paper by the first two authors(2023),while the embeddings of the scale Nφ,p,qs(Rd) were mainly obtained in a paper of the first and last two authors(2022).Now we concentrate on the characterisation of the spaces εφ,p,qs(Rd).Our approach requires a wavelet characterisation of those spaces which we establish for the system of daubechies’ *** we prove necessary and sufficient conditions for the embedding εφ1,p1,q1s1(Rd)→εφ2,p2,q2s2(Rd).We can also provide some almost final answer to the question when εφ,p,qs(Rd) is embedded into C(Rd),complementing our recent findings in case of Nφ,p,qs(Rd).

Improved determinations of the oft-ignored third-degree ocean tides can yield better accuracy for tidal predictions,numerical model solutions,and *** only a small part of tidal range,these components can be larger at certain coastal locations due to shelf resonances and other ***,we discuss observations of the M3lunar terdiurnal tide using 9-year windowed tidal harmonic analyses at 157 tide gauges compares to a global assimilation model(TPXO9v5a),with a focus on the Western Pacific and the European ***9v5a does well in estimating the observed M_(3)amplitudes and phase lags in most regions,though determinations in coastal zones and in morphologically complex areas are coarse and often *** also employ a shallow-water model(MARS)on the European Shelf,which can yield localized improvement over *** five subregions of the European Shelf,regional root-mean-squared-errors(RMSEs)are lower(and thus a better fit)at three locations for TPXO for amplitudes,and three for phase lags,with MARS simulations being a better fit in the other *** also show that some locations have experienced significant long-term increases and/or decreases in the M_(3)amplitude over time,likely related to resonance changes under sea level rise(SLR)which can modulate the oceanic response to astronomical *** hypothesis is explored for Europe using the MARS model by applying various sea level rise scenarios,showing that the directionality(positive or negative)of the long-term changes in M_(3)amplitudes over time match the model results for more than half of our validation stations.

The paper deals with continuous and compact mappings generated by the Fourier transform between distinguished Besov spaces Bps(Rn)=Bp,ps(Rn),1≤p≤∞,and between Sobolev spaces Hps(Rn),1d mainly on embeddings between related weighted spaces,we rely on wavelet expansions,duality and interpolation of corresponding (unweighted) spaces,and(appropriately extended) Hausdorff-Young *** degree of compactness will be measured in terms of entropy numbers and approximation numbers,now using the symbiotic relationship to weighted spaces.
