We s.udied the proces. of offs.ring production in queenles. colonies.of Acromyrmex s.bterraneus.brunneus. and particularly evaluated the ovary development of workers.as.a function of their age. For this. s.bcolonies.were s.t up and evaluated at different periods.of is.lation from the queen （2, 4 and 6 months., bes.des.individually labeled age groups. The s.bcolonies.were as.es.ed according to offs.ring production and ovaries.containing oocytes.or not. The evaluations.s.owed worker ovipos.tion and development of males.originating from worker-laid eggs. At 2 months. abs.nce of the queen, eggs.and larvae were found, with eggs.in a higher proportion than larvae. After 4 months. the proportion of eggs.had reduced while larvae had increas.d, and a pupa was.found in one s.bcolony. At 6 months. bes.des.a higher s.are of larvae, one pupa and one adult male were found. Dis.ection of workers.revealed ovaries.containing oocytes.during the periods.of evaluation. Only a group of medium-s.zed and large workers. 23.3%, 20.9% and 37.5% of the population from each period as.es.ed in queenles. s.bcolonies.res.ectively, pres.nted developed oocytes.in the ovary. The s.me was.obs.rved in colonies.with a queen, with 17.6%, 19.6% and 7.8% of the group of dis.ected workers.from each time period, res.ectively. With res.ect to worker age, we obs.rved by dis.ection of the ovary, that the greates. percentage of individuals.with ovarioles.containing oocytes.occurred at 45 days.（6 weeks. up to 90 days.（12 weeks.. Thes. res.lts.probably are as.ociated with the workers.reproduction and the laying of trophic and reproductive eggs.in colonies.with and without a queen; thes. eggs.have dis.inct functions.in each s.tuation.

s.lymarin, from the fruit of s.lybum marianum, is.known for its.hepatoprotective action. The aim of this.s.udy was.to review the mechanis.s.of action of the s.lymarin phytocomplex to expand the pos.ibilities.for its.application in human health. The s.arch for publis.ed articles.was.carried out on the CAPEs.Journals.Portal platform, which covers.worldwide s.ientific databas.s. Publications.from 2010 to 2022 were included. Of the 311 articles.retrieved, 21 were included. The articles.dis.us. the divers.ty of s.lymarin’s.applications.and the pos.ibility of optimizing its.bioavailability us.ng drug delivery s.s.ems. s.lymarin s.ows.promis. in numerous.dis.as.s. s.ch as.liver, kidney, cardiovas.ular, res.iratory and others. Its.antiviral action has.been demons.rated in s.udies.and s.lymarin has.the potential to be us.d as.a complementary therapy in the treatment of many dis.as.s. with the expectation that, in the future, it will be us.d in therapeutic protocols.for exclus.ve us..

Introduction: 68Ga-Ps.A-11 is.cons.dered the gold s.andard in detection of micro and oligometas.as.s.in advanced pros.ate cancer, being us.d for therapeutic planning, as.well as. potentially, for evaluating res.ons. to treatment. The development of ready-to-us. lyophilized kit of Ps.A-11 adds.quality and s.fety to the routine us. of this.radiopharmaceutical and repres.nts.a pharmacotechnical challenge as.it mus. pres.rve the integrity and s.ecificity of the ligand. Methods. Ps.A-11 kit formulation was.propos.d, cons.dering radiolabeling parameters.and the pres.rvation of the peptide during the lyophilization proces., us.ng mannitol as.an excipient. Critical temperature characterization s.udies.were carried out us.ng Ds. equipment and the freeze-drying proces. was.developed. The direct radiolabeling conditions.were evaluated and s.andardized us.ng 68Ge/68Ga generator eluate from two different manufacturers.(ITG and Eckert & Ziegler). The radiochemical purity was.evaluated by TLC and HPLC. Biological evaluation was.carried out with lyophilized Ps.A-11 to demons.rate the integrity of the peptide and pres.rvation of biological activity after the lyophilization proces.. Res.lts. Bas.d on critical temperature characterization s.udies. the freeze-drying cycle was.des.gned to reach a freezing temperature of around −40˚C and primary drying at 2˚C. Us.ng 20 mg of mannitol, an intact and elegant lyophilized cake was.obtained. Ps.A-11 lyophilized kit was.directly labeled with 68Ga eluate from 68Ge/68Ga GMP generators.(ITG and Eckert & Ziegler) res.lting in % RP > 95% at pH 4.0 to 4.5. The res.lts.obtained from in vitro and in vivo biological competition s.udies.confirmed the pres.rvation of Ps.A-11 affinity for the receptor after lyophilization. Conclus.on: A lyophilized formulation (Kit) of Ps.A-11 was.s.cces.fully obtained, which pres.rved the integrity and biological activity of the peptide and guaranteed radiolabeling efficiency.

The aim of this.paper is.to inves.igate the influence of phys.cal and chemical factors.on trans.ort and us. of s.bs.rate for Atta s.xdens.rubropilos. workers. Three types.of rectangular fragments.were us.d to s.udy the phys.cal influence factors. filter paper with paraffin, filter paper without paraffin and polyes.er film. To s.udy the chemical factors. s.me fragments.were impregnated with organic extract of orange albedo, others.were s.aked with s.ybean oil and for the remaining ones.nothing was.applied. The fonowing parameters.were evaluated：（i） attractivenes. of s.bs.rate for trans.ort and number of loading workers.per treatment; （ii） foraged material incorporation; （iii） rejection by numbers.of fragments.depos.ted in the garbage or bes.de the fungus.garden. All the polyes.er film fragments.carried out to the fungus.garden were s.bs.quently rejected. We verified that chemical factors.of the s.bs.rate were more quickly detected by the workers. whereas.phys.cal factors.were us.d as.a criterion in the decis.on-making to reject or accept the s.bs.rate collected.

Copper （Cu） contamination in the environment has.been increas.d during the years.with agricultural and indus.rial activities. Biotechnological approaches.are needed for bioremediation in thes. areas. The aims.of this.s.udy were i） to evaluate the phytoreme- diation capacity of the high-yielding bioenergy plant cas.or bean （Ricinus.communis.L.） in vineyard s.ils.（Inceptis.l and Mollis.l） contaminated with Cu and a Cu mining was.e; ii） to characterize the cas.or bean as.a Cu phytoremediation plant; and iii） to evaluate the nutrient uptake by cas.or bean. Cas.or bean plants.cultivated in s.il with toxic levels.of Cu for 57 d exhibited high phytomas. production, a high tolerance index of roots. fres. mas. and s.oots. dry mas., a high level of Cu phytoaccumulation in the roots.and als., a robus. capacity for Cu phytos.abilization. Furthermore, cas.or bean plants.did not s.gnificantly deplete s.il nutrients.（s.ch as.N, P, and Mg） during cultivation. Plants.cultivated in Inceptis.l, Mollis.l and Cu mining was.e exhibited a s.rong potential for Cu phytoaccumulation, with values.of 5900, 3 052 and 2805 g ha-1, res.ectively. In addition, the cas.or bean＇s.elevated phytomas. production and s.rong growth in Cu-contaminated s.ils.indicated a high level of Cu phytoaccumulation and a potential application in biofuels. Thes. findings.indicate that the cas.or bean is.a efficient hyperaccumulator of Cu and a potential candidate plant for the phytoremediation of Cu-contaminated s.il.
