The bipartite entanglement in Fermi gas without interaction is investigated when there ace three fermions in the system. The negativity and the yon Neumann entropy are employed to measure the entanglement of the system. The position of the third fermion can affect the entanglement between the first and the second fermions. The entanglement can be enhanced or suppressed when the third fermion changes its position. When the two fermions are at the same position or when their distance is more than 2.0/kF, the third fermion cannot affect them.

Using the adaptive time-dependent density-matrix renormalization group method,the dynamics of entanglement and quantum discord of an one-dimensional spin-1/2 XXZ chain is studied when anisotropic interaction quenches are applied at different *** dynamics of the quantum discord and pairwise entanglement between the nearest qubits shows that the entanglement and quantum discord will first oscillate and then approach to a constant *** quantum discord can be used to predict the quantum phase transition,while the entanglement cannot.

The bipartite and tripartite entanglement in a three-qubit Heisenberg XY model with a nonuniform magnetic field is studied. There are two or four peaks in the concurrence of the bipartite entanglement when the amplitudes of the magnetic fields are. differently distributed between the three qubits. It is very interesting to note that there is no tangle of tripartite entanglement between the three qubits when the amplitudes of the magnetic fieMs are varied. However, the variation of the magnetic field direction can induce the tangle. The tangle is periodic about the angle between the magnetic field and the z axis of the spin.

Heating,ventilation and air conditioning(HVAC)systems are the most energy-consuming building implements for the improvement of indoor environmental quality(IEQ).We have developed the optimal control strategies for HVAC system to respectively achieve the optimal selections of ventilation rate and supplied air temperature with consideration of energy conservation,through the fast prediction methods by using low-dimensional linear ventilation model(LLVM)based artificial neural network(ANN)and low-dimensional linear temperature model(LLTM)based contribution ratio of indoor climate(CRI_((T))).To be continued for integrated control of multi-parameters,we further developed the fast prediction model for indoor humidity by using low-dimensional linear humidity model(LLHM)and contribution ratio of indoor humidity(CRI_((H))),and thermal sensation index(TS)for *** was used to construct the prediction database for CO_(2),temperature and ***-dimensional linear models(LLM),including LLVM,LLTM and LLHM,were adopted to expand database for the sake of data storage ***,coupling with ANN,CRI_((T)) and CRI_((H)), the distributions of indoor CO_(2) concentration,temperature,and humidity were rapidly predicted on the basis of LLVM-based ANN,LLTM-based CRIm and LLHM-based CRM ***,according to the self-defined indices(i.e.,E_(V),E_(T),E_(H)),the optimal balancing between IEQ(indicated by CO_(2) concentration,PMV and TS)and energy consumption(indicated by ventilation rate,supplied air temperature and humidity)were synthetically *** total HVAC energy consumption could be reduced by 35%on the strength of current control *** work can further contribute to development of the intelligent online control for HVAC systems.

Comprehensive Summary In this work,we adopt a“heteroatom side-chains”modification strategy to modify the thiophene units in A-DA'D-A(acceptor-donor-acceptor’-donor-acceptor)type pentacyclic SMAs(small molecule acceptors),that is,introducing branched alkyl chain at theβ-position of thiophene instead of straight alkyl chain,and then introducing oxygen atom at the third-position on the basis of branched *** new pentacyclic SMAs(BZ4F-EH and BZ4F-OEH)were synthesized,and the influence of the heteroatom side-chains on photoelectric properties of A-DA'D-A type pentacyclic SMAs was systematically *** with our previously reported BZ4F(Y26),BZ4F-EH shows slightly blue-shifted absorption,while BZ4F-OEH has obvious red-shifted *** a result,BZ4F-OEH-based binary device achieved a high power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 16.56%with a fill factor(FF)of 79.3%,which is the highest efficiency of pentacyclic SMAs to date.

Oxidative stress is involved in the pathogenesis of vascular dementia. Studies have shown that lycopene can significantly inhibit oxidative stress;therefore, we hypothesized that lycopene can reduce the level of oxidative stress in vascular dementia. A vascular dementia model was established by permanent bilateral ligation of common carotid arteries. The dosage groups were treated with lycopene(50, 100 and 200 mg/kg) every other day for 2 months. Rats without bilateral carotid artery ligation were prepared as a sham group. To test the ability of learning and memory, the Morris water maze was used to detect the average escape latency and the change of search strategy. Hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to observe changes of hippocampal neurons. The levels of oxidative stress factors, superoxide dismutase and malondialdehyde, were measured in the hippocampus by biochemical detection. The levels of reactive oxygen species in the hippocampus were observed by dihydroethidium staining. The distribution and expression of oxidative stress related protein, neuron-restrictive silencer factor, in hippocampal neurons were detected by immunofluorescence histochemistry and western blot assays. After 2 months of drug administration,(1) in the model group, the average escape latency was longer than that of the sham group, and the proportion of straight and tend tactics was lower than that of the sham group, and the hippocampal neurons were irregularly arranged and the cytoplasm was hyperchromatic.(2) The levels of reactive oxygen species and malondialdehyde in the hippocampus of the model group rats were increased, and the activity of superoxide dismutase was decreased.(3) Lycopene(50, 100 and 200 mg/kg) intervention improved the above changes, and the lycopene 100 mg/kg group showed the most significant improvement effect.(4) Neuron-restrictive silencer factor expression in the hippocampus was lower in the sham group and the lycopene 100 mg/kg group than in the model group.(5) Th

With the rapid development of the fifth-generation wireless communication systems, a profound revolution in terms of transmission capacity, energy efficiency, reliability, latency, and connectivity is highly expected to support a new batch of industries and applications. To achieve this goal, wireless networks are becoming extremely dynamic, heterogeneous, and complex. The modeling and optimization for the performance of realworld wireless networks are extremely challenging due to the difficulty to predict the network performance as a function of network parameters, and the prohibitively huge number of parameters to optimize. The conventional network modeling and optimization approaches rely on drive test, trial-and-error, and engineering experience,which are labor intensive, error-prone, and far from optimal. On the other hand, while the research community has spent significant efforts in understanding the fundamental limits of radio channels and developing physical layer techniques to operate close to it, very little is known about the performance limits of wireless networks, where millions of radio channels interact with one another in complex manners. This paper reviews the very recent mathematical and learning based techniques for modeling and optimizing the performance of real-world wireless networks in five aspects, including channel modeling, user demand and traffic modeling, throughput modeling and prediction, network parameter optimization, and IRS empowered performance optimization, and also presents the corresponding notable performance gains.
