zhuzhou was one of the most polluted cities in china with the serious acid *** to the implementation of air pollution control measures from {2.6 to {2.8,the acid rain pollution in this city has *** order to understand the recent situation,a comprehensive study on the acid rain was carried out from January {2.1 to December *** pH values during the study period varied from 3.3 to 7.5,with a volume-weighted mean value of *** predominant acidic components of the precipitation were SO_(4)^(2.)and NO_(3)^(-),accounting for 89.3% of the total *** ratio of non-sea-salt SO_(4)^(2.)to NO_(3)^(-)showed a decreasing trend,revealing that the pollution type of acid rain changed from sulfuric acid type to sulfuric acid and nitric acid compound *** correlation analysis(p2.)was positively correlated with NH_(4)^(+),Ca^(2.),and Mg^(2.);hence,it predominated in precipitation as(NH_(4))_(2.SO_(4),NH_(4)HSO_(4),CaSO_(4),and MgSO_(4).Significant positive correlation of Ca^(2.)with Mg^(2.)shows that they may originated mainly from *** positive correlation between SO_(4)^(2.)and F^(-)and Cl^(-)indicate that their source may be related to the non-ferrous metal smelting industry in *** correlation analysis shows that emissions from the non-ferrous metal smelting industry in the area have a large significant on SO_(4)^(2.)and F^(-)in precipitation,while Cl^(-)may still be emitted from other anthropogenic sources.

Endogenous retroviruses (ERVs), the remnants of ancient retrovirus infections, constitute approximately 8% of the human genome and play important roles in human evolution, development,and diseases. Multiple drugs, such as DNA methyltransferase inhibitors and lysine-specific histone demethylase 1inhibitors, reactivate ERVs, induce viral mimicry and trigger innate immune responses to enhance tumor immunogenicity.

Introduction:Bladder cancer(BC)has a high incidence and mortality rate *** anaphasepromoting complex domain containing 2.SAPCDC2.is over-expressed in a variety of ***:This study investigated the effects of SAPCD2.knockdown on BC ***:T2. and UMUC3 cell models and the xenografted BC tumor model with SAPCD2.knockdown were established to observe the malignant phenotype of BC cells by cell counting kit-8 assay,colony formation test,wound healing,and Transwell assay,mRNA and proteins expressions were measured with quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction,western blotting,and tissue *** chloride agonist on the Wnt/β-catenin pathway was used to clarify the molecular mechanism of SAPCD2.***:SAPCD2.expression was significantly higher in BC cell lines than in SVHUC-1 ***2.knockdown inhibited viability and cloning,hindered the G0/G1 phase of the cell cycle in UMUC3 and T2. cells,and decreased the migration and invasiveness of BC ***2.knockdown inhibited expression levels of cyclin D1,cyclin B1,N-cadherin,vimentin,Snail,β-catenin,c-Myc,and cyclin-dependent kinase 4,while the P2. and E-cadherin were raised by SAPCD2.***,lithium chloride reversed the effects of SAPCD2.knockdown on the expression levels of the above proteins in UMUC3 and T2. *** vivo,SAPCD2.knockdown inhibited the volume,weight,and expression of Ki-67 andβ-catenin in tumors and increased the E-cadherin ***:SAPCD2.knockdown inhibits the malignant phenotype of BC via a pathway involvingβ-catenin.

Background There is no appropriate tool to predict recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH)response before therapy initiation in short-stature children in late *** current study aimed to explore the associations between magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)stages of the knee growth plates and rhGH response in short-stature children in late *** In this prospective cohort study,short-stature children in late puberty were treated with rhGH and followed up for 6 *** proposed a novel knee MRI staging system according to the growth plate states of distal femurs or proximal tibias and divided the participants into three groups:unclosed growth plate group,marginally closed growth plate group,and nearly closed growth plate *** primary outcomes were height gain and growth velocity(GV),which were assessed three months *** Fifty participants were enrolled,including 2. boys and 2. *** and height gain after 6 months of rhGH therapy decreased successively in the three groups with an increased degree of growth plate fusion,especially when grouped by proximal tibias(GV_(1-3 mon)from 9.38 to 6.08 to 4.56 cm/year,GV_(4-6 mon)from 6.75 to 4.92.to 3.2. cm/year,and height gain from 4.03 to 2.75 to 1.95 cm,all P1).Moreover,the MRI stages of growth plates independently served as a significant variable for GV and height gain after therapy,especially when grouped by proximal tibias(all P1).Conclusion The MRI staging method is expected to be an effective tool for predicting rhGH response before therapy initiation in short-stature children in late puberty.

Herein,we present a method for the homogeneous hydrogenation of nitroarenes to produce anilines using low catalyst loading(1 mo%)of copper N-heterocyclic carbene complexes as the catalyst and ammonia borane as the source of hydrogen.A wide range of nitroarenes,featuring diverse functional groups,were selectively transformed into their corresponding primary aromatic amines with high *** process can be readily scaled up and exhibits compatibility with various sensitive functional groups,including halogen,trifluoromethyl,aminomethyl,alkenyl,cyano,ester,amide,and ***,this catalytic methodology finds application in the synthesis of essential drug *** investigations suggest that the in-situ-generated Cu-H species may serve as active intermediates,with reduction pathways involving species such as azobenzene,1,2.diphenylhydrazine,nitrosobenzene,and N-phenylhydroxylamine.

The anodic electrooxidation of ethanol to value-added acetate is an excellent example of replacing the oxygen evolution reaction to promote the cathodic hydrogen evolution reaction and save ***,we present a colloidal strategy to produce Ni-Fe bimetallic alloy nanoparticles(NPs)as efficient electrocatalysts for the electrooxidation of ethanol in alkaline ***-Fe alloy NPs deliver a current density of 100 mA·cm^(-2. in a 1.0 M KOH solution containing 1.0 M ethanol merely at 1.5 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE),well above the performance of other electrocatalysts in a similar *** continuous 10 h testing at this external potential,this electrode is able to produce an average of 0.49 mmol·cm^(-2.·h^(-1) of acetate with an ethanol-to-acetate Faradaic efficiency of 80%.A series of spectroscopy techniques are used to probe the electrocatalytic process and analyze the ***,density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that the iron in the alloy NPs significantly enhances the electroconductivity and electron transfer,shifts the rate-limiting step,and lowers the energy barrier during the ethanol-to-acetate reaction pathway.

The imperative to address traditional energy crises and environmental concerns has accelerated the need for energy structure ***,the variable nature of renewable energy poses challenges in meeting complex practical energy *** address this issue,the construction of a multifunctional large-scale stationary energy storage system is considered an effective *** paper critically examines the battery and hydrogen hybrid energy storage *** technologies face limitations hindering them from fully meeting future energy storage needs,such as large storage capacity in limited space,frequent storage with rapid response,and continuous storage without ***,with their rapid response(90%),excel in frequent short-duration energy ***,limitations such as a self-discharge rate(>1%)and capacity loss(~2.%)restrict their use for long-duration energy ***,as a potential energy carrier,is suitable for large-scale,long-duration energy storage due to its high energy density,steady state,and low ***,it is less efficient for frequent energy storage due to its low storage efficiency(~50%).Ongoing research suggests that a battery and hydrogen hybrid energy storage system could combine the strengths of both technologies to meet the growing demand for large-scale,long-duration energy *** assess their applied potentials,this paper provides a detailed analysis of the research status of both energy storage technologies using proposed key performance ***,application-oriented future directions and challenges of the battery and hydrogen hybrid energy storage system are outlined from multiple perspectives,offering guidance for the development of advanced energy storage systems.
