Dear Editor,Physical exercise has been shown to be associated with reduced cancer incidence and cancer-associated mortality[1,2],but the underlying mechanisms are *** regulation has emerged as one of the most prominent mechanisms explaining the effects of exercise on cancer[1,2].Physical exercise primarily lowers blood cholesterol and triglycerides,and protects against cardiovascular diseases[3].However,whether physical exercise can modulate cholesterol metabolism in tumor cells is currently unknown.

The back-streaming white-neutron beamline (Back-n) of the China Spallation Neutron Source is an essential neutron- research platform built for the study of nuclear data, neutron physics, and neutron applications. Many types of cross-sectional neutron-reaction measurements have been performed at Back-n since early 2018. These measurements have shown that a significant number of gamma rays can be transmitted to the experimental stations of Back-n along with the neutron beam. These gamma rays, commonly referred to as in-beam gamma rays, can induce a non-negligible experimental background in neutron-reaction measurements. Studying the characteristics of in-beam gamma rays is important for understanding the experimental background. However, measuring in-beam gamma rays is challenging because most gamma-ray detectors are sensitive to neutrons; thus, discriminating between neutron-induced signals and those from in-beam gamma rays is difficult. In this study, we propose the use of the black resonance filter method and a CeBr3 scintillation detector to measure the characteristics of the in-beam gamma rays of Back-n. Four types of black resonance filters, Ta-181, Co-59, Ag-nat, and Cd-nat, were used in this measurement. The time-of-flight (TOF) technique was used to select the detector signals remaining in the absorption region of the TOF spectra, which were mainly induced by in-beam gamma rays. The energy distribution and flux of the in-beam gamma rays of Back-n were determined by analyzing the deposited energy spectra of the CeBr3 scintillation detector and using Monte Carlo simulations. Based on the results of this study, the background contributions from in-beam gamma rays in neutron-reaction measurements at Back-n can be reasonably evaluated, which is beneficial for enhancing both the experimental methodology and data analysis.

We study the properties of the Ginzburg-Landau model at the dual point for the superconductors. By making use of the U（1） gauge potential decomposition and the φ-mapping theory, we investigate the topological inner structure of the Bogomol＇nyi equations and deduce a modified decoupled Bogomol＇nyi equation with a nontrivial topological term, which is ignored in conventional model. We find that the nontrivial topological term is closely related to the N-vortex, which arises from the zero points of the complex scalar field, Furthermore, we establish a relationship between Ginzburg Landau free energy and the winding number.

Realtime trigger and localization of bursts are the key functions of GECAM,an all-sky gamma-ray monitor launched on 2020 December *** developed a multifunctional trigger and localization software operating in the CPU of the GECAM Electronic *** onboard software has the following features:high trigger efficiency for real celestial bursts with a suppression of false triggers caused by charged particle bursts and background fluctuation,dedicated localization algorithm optimized for both short and long bursts,and low time latency of the trigger information which is downlinked through the Global Short Message Communication service of the global BeiDou navigation *** paper provides a detailed description of the design and development of the trigger and localization software system for *** covers the general design,workflow,the main functions,and the algorithms used in the *** paper also includes on-ground trigger tests using simulated gamma-ray bursts generated by a dedicated X-ray tube,as well as an overview of the performance for real celestial bursts during its in-orbit operation.

Two kinds of topological soliton （skyrmion and magnetic vortex ring） in ferromagnets are studied. They have the common topological origin, a tensor Hαβ = n→·（δαn→×βδn→）, which describes the non-trivial distribution of local orientation of magnetization n→ at large distances in space. The topological stability of skyrmion is protected by the winding number. Knot-like topological defect as magnetic vortex rings is also studied. On the assumption that magnetic vortex rings are geometric lines, we present their δ-function distribution in ferromagnetic materials. Furthermore, it is briefly shown that Hopf invariant is a proper topological invariant to describe the topology of magnetic vortex rings.

Over the past 70 years, the semiconductor industry has undergone transformative changes,largely driven by the miniaturization of devices and the integration of innovative structures and materials. Two-dimensional(2D) materials like transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs) and graphene are pivotal in overcoming the limitations of silicon-based technologies, offering innovative approaches in transistor design and functionality, enabling atomic-thin channel transistors and monolithic 3D integration. We review the important progress in the application of 2D materials in future information technology, focusing in particular on microelectronics and optoelectronics. We comprehensively summarize the key advancements across material production, characterization metrology, electronic devices, optoelectronic devices, and heterogeneous integration on silicon. A strategic roadmap and key challenges for the transition of 2D materials from basic research to industrial development are outlined. To facilitate such a transition, key technologies and tools dedicated to 2D materials must be developed to meet industrial standards, and the employment of AI in material growth, characterizations, and circuit design will be essential. It is time for academia to actively engage with industry to drive the next 10 years of 2D material research.

In order to explore the eff ect of a small amount of rare earth addition in ultra-cleaned pipeline steel and the influence of the cooling process on the tensile and impact properties,three API X80 pipeline steels were fabricated by varying RE addition and the cooling process at the same *** microstructures with different features for a low C high Nb microalloyed high-strength pipeline steel and the corresponding mechanical properties were *** results showed that even in the ultra-cleaned steel with O and S contents less than 10 ppm,the addition of RE would still cause an increase in the volume fraction of inclusions consisting of complicated RE oxysulfide and RE *** inclusions formed in the 112 ppm RE steel were harmful to the low temperature toughness,while few inclusions formed in the 47 ppm RE steel had almost no influence on the low temperature *** two RE additions had no effect on strength of the *** the finishing cooling temperature was increased and the cooling rate was decreased within a certain range,the volume fractions of polygonal ferrite and quasi-polygonal ferrite as well as the number density and size of martensite–austenite islands were *** such combined effect,the strength of the steels had almost no *** the finishing cooling temperature was increased from 481 to 584℃and the cooling rate was reduced from 20 to 13℃/s,for the steel with 112 ppm addition of RE,there was an obvious decrease in the low temperature *** reduced value(about 33 J)of the USE of steel consisted of two parts including the influence(about 18 J)of more inclusions formed due to 112 ppm addition of RE and the eff ect(about 15 J)of the lower high-angle grain boundaries.

为研究鄂西地区上二叠统大隆组含气页岩岩相类型和储层特征,本文以鄂西地区恩施市恩地2井钻井岩心为研究对象,利用X-射线衍射全岩矿物分析(XRD)、总有机碳(TOC)质量分数测定、镜质体反射率(R_(o))测定、干酪根镜检、场发射扫描电镜(FE-SEM)观察、CO_(2)和N2吸附实验、页岩含气量测定、微量元素测定等方法开展精细研究。结果显示:鄂西地区二叠系大隆组主要发育的岩相类型包括硅质岩相、黏土质硅质岩相和混合质硅质岩相,其中黏土质硅质岩相是大隆组有机碳质量分数最高的岩相类型;大隆组页岩孔隙类型多样,微孔和介孔贡献了页岩主要的孔隙体积和孔比表面积;高有机碳和高黏土矿物有利于页岩气的聚集和页岩中微小孔隙(孔径<50 nm)系统的建立,微孔和介孔中的吸附气是总含气量的重要组成部分。以含气量和有机碳质量分数为指标建立鄂西二叠系大隆组页岩评价标准,黏土质硅质岩相和混合质硅质岩相为Ⅱ_(1)类优势岩相类型,硅质岩为Ⅱ_(2)类页岩气优势岩相类型,恩地2井1 241.0~1 250.4 m井段为页岩气“甜点段”。页岩微量元素和有机碳质量分数关系表明大隆组高有机质含量是高古生产力和水体还原环境的共同结果,其中高古生产力是有机质富集的主要原因。

采用大孔树脂、硅胶、葡聚糖凝胶、高效液相等色谱手段,对中药血竭的化学成分进行初步研究,分离得到1个反式二氢查耳酮类、4个黄烷类和1个二苯乙烯类化合物。通过现代波谱学、理化性质和文献比对鉴定其化学结构,分别鉴定为4-羟基-2,6-二甲氧基-3-甲基二氢查耳酮(1)、4′-羟基-5,7-二甲氧基-8-甲基黄烷(2)、7-羟基-4′,5-二甲氧基黄烷(3)、(2S)-7-羟基-5-甲氧基-6-甲基黄烷(4)、(2S)-7-羟基-5-甲氧基黄烷(5)、紫檀芪(6),其中化合物1为新化合物,化合物2和6为从棕榈科中首次分离得到。化合物5具有防治糖尿病肾脏疾病的潜力。
