Effect and Safety of CX-DZ-ⅡIntelligent Electroacupuncture Therapeutic Instrument for Neck Pain Caused by Cervical Spondylos:Study Protocol for A Randomized Controlled Trial

Background: Neck pain caused by cervical spondylosis(CS) is a chronic pain condition, with an increasingly high incidence in the general population. Electroacupuncture is a common analgesic modality that has been widely applied in neck pain treatment. However, current electroacupuncture instruments used in the clinic have low intelligence levels and obscure parameter standards. We here designed this study for assessing the effect and safety of a new, intelligent electroacupuncture instrument, the CX-DZ-Ⅱ, in treating neck pain. Methods: The present study is a prospective, two-center, randomized, controlled, open-label, non-inferiority trial for CX-DZ-Ⅱ on treating neck pain caused by CS. Totally 160 eligible patients will be included in this trial and randomly assigned to an experimental group and a control group in a 1:1 ratio. A semi-standard acupoint selection strategy will be employed. In the experimental group, selected acupoints will be stimulated by CX-DZ-Ⅱ. Electroacupuncture treatment will be accomplished by a pre-existing electroacupuncture instrument in the control group. The duration of treatment will be 2 weeks. The primary outcome is the change of Visual Analog Scale(VAS) score after one course of treatment. The secondary outcomes include the VAS scores after each treatment, the responder rate, drug-usage rate of non-steroidal antipyretic analgesics, the rate of adverse events occurrence, and the performance of instrument. Discussion: This study will evaluate the effect and safety of the CX-DZ-Ⅱ intelligent electroacupuncture therapeutic instrument in comparison with a pre-existing non-intelligent instrument in the treatment of neck pain caused by CS. The results will hopefully demonstrate a more optimal electroacupuncture instrument for the treatment of neck pain.(Trial registration No. gov NCT03005301).

Purines Change at Acupoints along the Pericardium Meridian in Healthy and Myocardial Ischemic Rats

Objective: To quantify the purine concentrations of the acupoints along the pericardium and nonpericardium meridians under healthy and myocardial ischemia conditions to investigate the relationship between acupoint purine change and body functional status in ***: A total of 70 rats underwent an operation for myocardial ischemia,while 40 of them *** were randomly assigned to the following 5 subgroups:Neiguan(PC 6),Quze(PC 3),Tianquan(PC 2),Quchi(LI 11),and Jianyu(LI 15).Simultaneously,another40 healthy rats were also randomized into the same 5 subgroups as the control *** tissue ?uids at the acupoints were collected by microdialysis for 30 ***,the concentration of adenosine triphosphate(ATP),adenosine diphosphate(ADP),adenosine monophosphate(AMP),and adenosine(ADO) were quanti?ed using the high-performance liquid chromatography ***: Compared with the healthy group,the ADO at PC 6(P=0.012),PC 3(P=0.038),PC 2(P=0.024),and LI 15(P=0.042) obviously increased in the model group,while no signi?cant difference was observed at LI 11(P=0.201).However,ATP,ADP,and AMP manifested no significant changes in these areas,except for ATP at LI 15(P=0.036).Conclusions: Myocardial ischemia could induce an increase in ADO at acupoints of the upper arm and shoulder area,suggesting that the body functional status could affect the responsiveness of *** status of these acupoints could be pathogenically activated by disease,and distribution following some speci?c courses.

Distribution behavior of collector in the desilication system of bauxite flotation

The distribution behavior of the HZB collector (a kind of long chain fatty acid) in the desilication system of bauxite flotation was studied. The results show that the collector tends towards froth products in the steps of the roughing, the first cleaning and the second cleaning, while towards the tailing product in the step of the scavenging, and in each job except scavenging the collector is mainly on the surface of solids. As for the froth product in the step of the scavenging, it is mainly in solution. To the tailing products of every step, it is mainly in the respective solutions. The collector added to the flotation system is mainly taken out by the last concentrate, by which the taken one occupies 65.2% of the whole, among which, 57.8% is by solid and 7.4% by solution, respectively. And the one by the last tail occupies 34.8% of the whole, among which, 8.8% is by solid and 26.0% by solution, respectively. The sum of the collector in the solution of the last concentrate and tailing is 33.4% of the amount of addition collector, and recycling the solutions will be in favor of decreasing the dosage of collector.

Influenza A virus(IAV)binds sialic acid receptors on the cell surface to enter the host cells,which is the key step in initiating infection,transmission and *** the factors that contribute to the highly efficient entry of IAV into human cells will help elucidate the mechanism of viral entry and pathogenicity,and provide new targets for *** the present study,we reported a novel membrane protein,C1QTNF5,which binds to the hemagglutinin protein of IAV and promotes IAV infection in vitro and in *** found that the HA1 region of IAV hemagglutinin is critical for the interaction with C1QTNF5 protein,and C1QTNF5 interacts with hemagglutinin mainly through its N-terminus(1–103 aa).In addition,we further demonstrated that overexpression of C1QTNF5 promotes IAV entry,while blocking the interaction between C1QTNF5 and IAV hemagglutinin greatly inhibits viral ***,C1QTNF5 does not function as a receptor to mediate IAV infection in sialic acid-deficient CHO-Lec2 cells,but promotes IAV to attach to these cells,suggesting that C1QTNF5 is an important attachment factor for *** work reveals C1QTNF5 as a novel IAV attachment factor and provides a new perspective for antiviral strategies.

Insight into structural degradation of NCMs under extreme fast charging process

Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)with extreme fast charging(XFC)capability are considered an effective way to alleviate range anxiety for electric vehicle(EV)*** to the high ionic and electronic conductivity of LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_zO_(2)(x+y+z=1,NCM)cathodes,the inevitable Li plating of graphite in NCM|graphite cell is usually identified as a key bottleneck for XFC ***,the capacity decay mechanism of cathode materials under XFC has not been fully *** this work,three typical NCM cathode materials with different Ni fractions were chosen and their electrochemical performances under XFC associated with structural evolution were investigated.A faster capacity decay of NCMs under XFC conditions is observed,especially for Ni-rich ***-situ X-ray diffraction(XRD)reveals that the multiple caxis parameters appear at the high-voltage regions in Nirich NCMs,which is probably triggered by the larger obstruction of Li(de)***,NCMs with moderate Ni fraction also present a similar trend under XFC *** phenomenon is more detrimental to the structural and morphological stability,resulting in a faster capacity decay than that under low current *** work provides new insight into the degradation mechanism of NCMs under XFC conditions,which can promote the development of NCM cathode materials with XFC capability.

A Web-like Three-dimensional Binder for Silicon Anode in Lithium-ion Batteries

Si anode is of paramount importance for advanced energy-dense lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,the large volume change as well as stress generates during its lithiation-delithiation process poses a great challenge to the long-term cycling and hindering its *** this work,a composite binder is prepared with a soft component,guar gum(GG),and a rigid linear polymer,anionic polyacrylamide(APAM).Rich hydroxy,carboxyl,and amide groups on the polymer chains not only enable intermolecular crosslinking to form a web-like binder,A2G1,but also realize strong chemical binding as well as physical encapsulating to Si *** resultant electrode shows limited thickness change of merely 9%on lithiation and almost recovers its original thickness on *** demonstrates high reversible capacity of 2104.3 mAh g^(-1)after 100 cycles at a current density of 1800 mA g^(-1),and in constant capacity(1000 mAh g^(-1))test,it also shows a long life of 392 ***,this soft-hard combining web-like binder illustrates its great potential in the future applications.

Take after the advantages of lithium-ion battery（LIB） and redox flow battery（RFB）, semi-solid flow battery（SSFB） is a promising electrochemical energy storage device in renewable energy utilization. The flowable slurry electrode realizes decouple of energy and power density,while it also brings about new challenge to SSFBs, electron transport between active material and the out circuit. In this consideration, three types of current collectors（CCs） are applied to study the resistance and electrochemical performances of slurry cathodes within pouch cells for the first time. It proves that the electronic resistance（Re） between slurry electrode and the CC plays a decisive role in SSFB operation, and it is so large when Al foil is adopted that the cell cannot even work. Contact angle between Ketjen black（KB） slurry without active material（AM） and the CC is a preliminarily sign for the Re, the smaller the angle, the lower the resistance, and the better electrochemical performance of the cell.
