Background Photosystem II(PSII)constitutes an intricate assembly of protein pigments,featuring extrinsic and intrinsic polypeptides within the photosynthetic *** low-molecular-weight transmembrane protein PsbX has been identified in PSII,which is associated with the oxygen-evolving *** expression of PsbX gene protein is regulated by ***’s central role involves the regulation of PSII,facilitating the binding of quinone molecules to the Qb(PsbA)site,and it additionally plays a crucial role in optimizing the efficiency of *** these insights,a comprehensive understanding of the PsbX gene’s functions has remained *** In this study,we identified ten PsbX genes in Gossypium hirsutum *** phylogenetic analysis results showed that 40 genes from nine species were classified into one *** resulting sequence logos exhibited substantial conservation across the N and C terminals at multiple sites among all Gossypium ***,the ortholo-gous/paralogous,Ka/Ks ratio revealed that cotton PsbX genes subjected to positive as well as purifying selection pressure might lead to limited divergence,which resulted in the whole genome and segmental *** expression patterns of GhPsbX genes exhibited variations across specific tissues,as indicated by the ***,the expression of GhPsbX genes could potentially be regulated in response to salt,intense light,and drought ***,GhPsbX genes may play a significant role in the modulation of photosynthesis under adverse abiotic *** We examined the structure and function of PsbX gene family very first by using comparative genom-ics and systems biology approaches in *** seems that PsbX gene family plays a vital role during the growth and development of cotton under stress ***,the results of this study provide basic information to unveil the molecular and physiological function of PsbX genes of cotton plan

Correlation analysis of stem hardness traits with fiber and yield-related traits in core collections of Gossypium hirsutum

Background:Stem hardness is one of the major influencing factors for plant architecture in upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.).Evaluating hardness phenotypic traits is very important for the selection of elite lines for resistance to lodging in Gossypium hirsutum *** breeders are interested in using diverse genotypes to enhance fiber quality and *** pieces of research for hardness and its relationship with fiber quality and yield were *** study was designed to find the relationship of stem hardness traits with fiber quality and yield contributing traits of upland ***:Experiments were carried out to measure the bending,acupuncture,and compression properties of the stem from a collection of upland cotton genotypes,comprising 237 *** results showed that the genotypic difference in stem hardness was highly significant among the genotypes,and the stem hardness traits(BL,BU,AL,AU,CL,and CU)have a positive association with fiber quality traits and yield-related *** analyses of the results showed that in descriptive statistics result bending(BL,BU)has a maximum coefficient of variance,but fiber length and fiber strength have less coefficient of variance among the *** component analysis(PCA)trimmed quantitative characters into nine principal *** first nine principal components(PC)with Eigenvalues>1 explained 86%of the variation among 237 accessions of *** 2017 and 2018,PCA results indicated that BL,BU,FL,FE,and LI contributed to their variability in PC1,and BU,AU,CU,FD,LP,and FWPB have shown their variability in ***:We describe here the systematic study of the mechanism involved in the regulation of enhancing fiber quality and yield by stem bending strength,acupuncture,and compression properties of ***.

This study aims to demystify the role of green energy and green technology in establishing the nexus between behavioural intentions of tourists,technologies,and digital payments by using Perceived value(PV),Compatibility(CO),Perceived Enjoyment(PE),and Social Influence(SI)as a predictor variables,Trust(TR)and Satisfaction(SA)as a mediating variables and Behavioural Intentions(BI)as an outcome *** the empirical estimation,we employ smart PLS-SEM,TAM(Technology Acceptance Model)and SPSS and Tested the LCC *** findings suggest that green energy and perceived value have the highest positive impact on tourists’trust towards digital payments followed by compatibility,social influence and perceived ***,tourists’satisfaction and green technology is one of the important determinants of choosing any digital mode of payment,is mostly influence by perceived value,perceived enjoyment,compatibility and social ***,if we choose between trust and satisfaction,trust plays a significant role in exploring the behavioural intentions of tourists about green energy and green technology followed by tourists’*** addition,Tourists’trust and satisfaction are highly correlated and influence each *** study offers novel policy implications in terms of use of green technology and green energy in enhancing trust and satisfaction of tourists in order to deeper understanding of different dimensions of digital payments and M-wallets,and allowing them to explore the long-term value inherent of digital payments and M-wallets.

Identification and classification of DC faults are considered as fundamentals of DC grid protection.A sudden rise of DC fault current must be identified and classified to immediately operate the corresponding interrupting *** this paper,the Boltzmann machine learning(BML)approach is proposed for identification and classification of DC faults using travelling waves generated at fault point in voltage source converter based high-voltage direct current(VSC-HVDC)transmission *** unsupervised way of feature extraction is performed on the frequency spectrum of the travelling *** class logistic regression(BCLR)classifies the HVDC transmission system into faulty and healthy *** proposed technique reduces the time for fault identification and classification because of reduced tagged data with few ***,the faults near or at converter stations are readily identified and *** performance of the proposed technique is assessed via simulations developed in MATLAB/Simulink and tested for pre-fault and post-fault data both at VSC1 and VSC2,***,the proposed technique is supported by analyzing the root mean square error to show practicality and realization with reduced computations.

Recent Growth of Wettability Gradient Surfaces: A Review

This review reports the recent progress and future prospects of wettability gradient surfaces (WGSs), particularly focusing on the governing principles, fabrication methods, classification, characterization, and applications. While transforming the inherent wettability into artificial wettability via bioinspiration, topographic micro/nanostructures are produced with changed surface energy, resulting in new droplet wetting regimes and droplet dynamic regimes. WGSs have been mainly classified in dry and wet surfaces, depending on the apparent surface states. Wettability gradient has long been documented as a surface phenomenon inducing the droplet mobility in the direction of decreasing wettability. However, it is herein critically emphasized that the wettability gradient does not always result in droplet mobility. Indeed, the sticky and slippery dynamic regimes exist in WGSs, prohibiting or allowing the droplet mobility, respectively. Lastly, the stringent bottlenecks encountered by WGSs are highlighted along with solution-oriented recommendations, and furthermore, phase change materials are strongly anticipated as a new class in WGSs. In all, WGSs intend to open up new technological insights for applications, encompassing water harvesting, droplet and bubble manipulation, controllable microfluidic systems, and condensation heat transfer, among others.
