Indian medicinal plants are referred to as the“nectar of life”owing to their phytochemicals and bioactive complexes that are beneficial in treating *** disease 2019(COVID-19)is a global health issue without any proper *** indigenous plants of India can be exploited to control the precise signs of *** Ministry of AYUSH(Ayurveda,Yoga and Naturopathy,Unani,Siddha,and Homeopathy)has advised routine usage of medicinal plants for *** plants like Zingiber officinalis,Azadirachta indica,Ocimum sanctum,Nigella sativa,Withania somnifera,Curcuma longa,Piper nigrum,Allium sativum,Tinospora cordifolia,*** immunity-boosting,antiviral,antibacterial,antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions that can suppress and treat symptoms of *** vitro,in vivo as well as in silico validation,these phytochemicals can help us to manage and treat COVID-19 *** integration of traditional knowledge in the prophylaxis of corona infection and current skills validating it for the development of precise and powerful therapeutic approaches will more efficiently resolve different clinical aspects of *** review focuses on both traditional and emergent methods to prevent and treat COVID-19 with various Indian medicinal plants along with their phytochemicals.

Success in speed swimming depends on the efficiency of the anaerobic system for the production of cellular energy,especially during muscle power *** the adolescent athletes much is unknown with regards to the relationships between relative power of upper and lower limbs with speed swimming *** aim the present study was to identify differences in relative muscle power of upper and lower limbs in adolescent swimmers and relate these to speed swimming *** adolescents,of both sexes(50%female,50%male,30 swimmers and 30 controls),were *** relative upper limb power(ULP[W/kg])was assessed by a medicine ball test and the relative lower limbs power(LLP[W/kg])by a jump test on a jumping *** mass of the upper and lower limbs was assessed by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA)(g).Sport performance was assessed during national level competition(50-m swimming time[in seconds]).Biological maturation(BM)was indexed by years from attainment of peak height ***(W/kg)was higher than LLP(W/kg)in both groups(pded that ULP(W/kg)is higher than LLP(W/kg)in adolescent *** and lower limb lean mass and BM were both positively associated with increased ULP(W/kg)and LLP(W/kg).

Luminescent polymer electrolytes based on chitosan and containing europium triflate

Solid polymer electrolytes based on chitosan and europium triflate were prepared by solvent casting and characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, atomic force microscopy （AFM）, and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The X-ray diffraction exhibited that the samples were essentially amorphous with organized regions over the whole range of the salt content studied. The AFM analysis demonstrated that the smoother sample had roughness of 4.39 nm. Surface visualization through SEM revealed good homogeneity without any phase separation for more conductive samples and the less conductive showed some im- perfections on the surface. The emission and excitation spectra displayed the characteristic bands of Eu（CF3SO3）3 in addition to broad bands corresponding to the polymer host. The excited state 5D0 lifetime values ranged from 0.29-0.37 ms for the studied samples.

This paper aims to create visible light driven ternary photocatalysts using zinc oxide(ZnO),cerium(IV)oxide(CeO_(2)),and carbon xerogel(CX) as constituent *** use of CeO_(2) is based on the creation of direct-Z-scheme heterojunctions with the ZnO and the consequent diminishing of charge recombination,whereas the carbon xerogel inclusion is predicted to minimize bandgap energy,decrease electro n-hole reco mbination,and boost specific surface *** re,the choice of the black-wattle tannin as a carbonaceous precursor was targeted at the development of an environmentally friendly and affordable *** existence of the hexagonal phase of zinc oxide and cubic structure of the cerium(IV) oxide in the ternary material was confirmed by X-ray diffractometry and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,with the latter also suggesting chemical bonding between the ZnO and the CX due to the creation of zinc oxycarbide *** inclusion of the carbon xerogel provokes a significant modification in the morphology of the ternary material,resulting in an increased surface area and smaller particle *** CX/ZnO-CeO_(2) ternary composite obtains the highest photocatalytic efficiency among all the materials studied,degrading 100% of 4-chlorophenol under simulated sunlight and 68% under visible radiation,after 5 *** increased photocatalytic activity can be attributed to the formation of direct Z-scheme heterojunctions between the semiconductors,higher visible light response,and higher specific surface area,as evidenced by the results obtained by active radical scavenging,chronoamperometry,diffuse reflectance spectroscopy,and N_(2) adsorption-desorption isotherms.

近些年,通过碱激发硅铝酸质材料形成聚合物水泥基材料的研究受到了广泛关注。由于在此聚合物胶凝体系中,硅铝质原料存在多样性,包括粉煤灰、矿渣、煅烧高岭石等,因此其原料化学性质在动力学和固相演变过程中起到非常重要的作用,并决定了最终产品的化学和物理性质。分析了原料化学组成对从溶解到最终水化产物性能的碱激发全过程的影响。并使用了包括X射线同步衍射分析在内的一系列分析技术对多种原料的无定形和沸石状结构进行了表征。研究了具有特定无定形SiO_2/Al_2O_3比的钠锅硅酸盐沸石在Al_2O_3-SiO_2-H_2O凝胶中的结晶趋势,并基于可识别的三元相图中的组成结构,研究了钙离子和剩余阳离子种类的主要影响。讨论了不同体系的相组成和化学成分、物相转变、微观结构变化及其长期强度发展和耐化学性的关系。

Microstructural characterization and mechanical behavior analysis of 7075-T6 aluminum subjected to simulated lightning strikes

Aircrafts damages caused by lightning strikes have been known since the early days of ***,the physical effects on the aircraft structure are still being *** work seeks to evaluate the lightning strike effects in the aluminum alloy *** were submitted to lightning strike simulation in laboratory and the damages evaluated through characterization *** and profilometry tests have shown material loss to 0.272 mm depth in the damaged *** addition,it was detected the material accumulation occurrence in the damage vicinity of the *** the damage,it was found a region where metallurgical changes were *** tensile and microhardness tests results have shown reduction in the percentage elongation and hardness increasing in the material affected by *** results are corroborated by the X-ray Diffraction(XRD)and Rietveld Method(red line)that indicated an increasing in dislocation density and micro-deformation in the material *** microscopy results have shown the presence of microcracks on the normal and cross-section surface of the samples *** Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy(EDXS)and Electron Backscattered Diffraction Test(EBSD)found coarse intermetallic phases and precipitates compounds with dimensions greater than 1 lm in *** were responsible for nucleation of the microcracks that propagate along the material grain boundaries.

Formation of TiO_(2) Nanotube Layer by Anodization of Titanium in Ethylene Glycol-H_(2)O Electrolyte

In orthopaedics and orthodontics, the growth of nanotubes of titanium oxide on titanium implants is a promising route for improving the osseointegration. Among the fabrication routes to produce nanotubes, anodization was generally preferred due to its simplicity and low cost. TiO2 nanotubes are formed by the simultaneous anodic reaction and chemical dissolution due to the fluoride species present in the anodization bath. In this work, the formation of TiO2 nanotubes was studied in stirred ethylene glycol-H2O electrolyte (90 - 10 v/v) containing NH4F at room temperature. In order to study the effect of NH4F concentration, voltage and anodization time, and to reduce the number of experiments, a design of experiments (DOE) based on a 2k factorial design with four replicates at the center point was used. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to evaluate the effects of the factors of control and their interactions on the percentage of the titanium surface coated by nanotubes. The dimensions of nanotubes (length and diameter) were also evaluated using field emission gun scanning electron microscopy. The cristallinity and phase composition of the oxide layers was investigated by X-ray diffractometry. The electrochemical behavior of as-received and anodized titanium specimens was studied in Ringer’s solution. The statistical analysis showed that fluoride concentration is the most significant factor. The best condition according to the response surface analysis is the center point (1% NH4F, 20 V, 2 h). The nanotubular oxide layers presented an amorphous structure. Electrochemical tests showed that TiO2 nanotubes coated titanium is less corrosion resistant than as-received titanium.

As forests in neotropical regions,particularly in developing countries,are devastated,interventions to restore biodiversity and its ecological functions are *** producers have thus been encouraged to grow trees for wood production as an economic *** objective of this study was to quantify the increment of wood density of four forest species from different successional classes of a mixed system of restoration in a neotropical forest in *** discs were sampled at breast height and analyzed radially by X-ray densitometry to obtain apparent density and basic *** trees each of a species from the pioneer,early and late secondary successional stages and of the dominant species in the climax *** radial profiles indicated increasing density from the pith to bark of trunks,except for some variations due to wood defects and *** density was 0.576 g cm^(-3),0.655 g cm^(-3),0.706 g cm^(-3)and 0.775 g cm^(-3),respectively,for Peltophorum dubium,Schinus terebinthifolius,Cariniana estrellensis and Hymenaea *** profiles indicated higher amplitudes in the apparent densities for slow-growing species.X-ray densitometry generated parameters such as minimum,average and maximum densities,and radial density *** parameters are important for understanding the ecological functional role of successional classes of the Atlantic Forest from the Neotropical region.
