Fluidized roasting reduction kinetics of low-grade pyrolusite coupling with pretreatment of stone coal

Based on the fluidized roasting reduction technology of low-grade pyrolusite coupling with pretreatment of stone coal, the manganese reduction efficiency was investigated and technical conditions were optimized. It is found that the optimum manganese reduction efficiency can be up to 98.97% under the conditions that the mass ratio of stone coal to pyrolusite is 3：1, the roasting temperature of stone coal is 1000℃, the roasting temperature of pyrolusite is 800℃, and the roasting time is 2 h. Other low-grade pyrolusite ores in China from Guangxi, Hunan, and Guizhou Provinces were tested and all these minerals responded well, giving -99% manganese reduction efficiency. Meanwhile, the reduction kinetic model has been established. It is confirmed that the reduction process is controlled by the interface chemical reaction. The apparent activation energy is 36.397 kJ/mol.

Cornstalk is usually directly used as a reductant in reduetive leaching manganese. However, low utilization of cornstalk makes low manganese dissolution ratio, In the research, pretreatment for cornstalk was proposed to improve manganese dissolution ratio. Cornstalk was preprocessed by a heated sulfuric acid solution （1.2 M of sulfuric acid concentration） for 10 min at 80℃. Thereafter, both the pretreated solution and the residue were used as a reductant for manganese leaching. This method not only exhibited superior activity for hydrolyzing cornstalk but also enhanced manganese dissolution. These effects were attributed to an increase in the amount of reductive sugars resulting from lignin hydrolysis. Through acid pretreatment for cornstalk, the manganese dissolution ratio was improved from 50.14% to 83.46%. The present work demonstrates for the first time the effective acid pretreatment of cornstalk to provide a cost-effective reductant for manganese leaching.

Oil product pipelines have features such as transporting multiple materials, ever-changing operating conditions, and synchronism between the oil input plan and the oil offloading plan. In this paper, an optimal model was established for a single-source multi-distribution oil pro- duct pipeline, and scheduling plans were made based on supply. In the model, time node constraints, oil offloading plan constraints, and migration of batch constraints were taken into consideration. The minimum deviation between the demanded oil volumes and the actual offloading volumes was chosen as the objective function, and a linear programming model was established on the basis of known time nodes＇ sequence. The ant colony optimization algo- rithm and simplex method were used to solve the model. The model was applied to a real pipeline and it performed well.

Passive microwave remote sensing datasets are widely used to observe surface freeze/thaw(F/T)***,current algorithms are highly affected by snow cover and complex land cover types,compromising their ***,this study proposes an improved algorithm for daytime detection of diurnal F/T states by using Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 *** the daytime F/T discrimination algorithm,a microwave spectral gradient index is applied to divide the surface into snow-covered and snow-free *** the snow-free area,the surface temperature index is optimised to improve the accuracy of the standard deviation method(SDM)in evaluating the accuracy of the F/T *** the nighttime dataset,the microwave standard deviation index difference values between day and night are used to detect the F/T states based on the daytime *** accuracy of the improved algorithm reaches 88.6%and 84.5%in the daytime and at nighttime,*** with the SDM,the accuracy is improved by 10.2%in the daytime and 5.4%at *** results demonstrate that the proposed model is able to effectively distinguish the F/T states of snow-covered *** the surface temperature index can significantly improve the accuracy of the *** results reveal that the proposed surface F/T detection algorithm can be applied to regions with complex land cover types.

Oil depots along products pipelines are important components of the pipeline transportation system and down-stream *** operating costs of oil depots account for a large proportion of the total system’s operating ***,oil depots and pipelines form an entire system,and each operation in a single oil depot may have influence on *** is a tough job to make a scheduling plan when considering the factors of delivering contaminated oil and batches *** far,studies simultaneously considering operating constraints and contaminated oil issues are *** at making a scheduling plan with the lowest operating costs,the paper establishes a mixed-integer linear programming model,considering a sequence of operations,such as delivery, export, blending,fractionating and exchanging operations,and batch property differences of the same oil as well as influence of batch migration on contaminated ***,the paper verifies the linear relationship between oil concentration and blending capability by mathematical ***,the model is successfully applied to one of the product pipelines in China and proved to be practical.

Autophagy and apoptosis have been regarded as important processes in the development of diabetic erectile dysfunction(DMED).Probucol is considered to have anti-apoptotic effects,but its relationship with autophagy has not been *** aim of this study was to investigate the effects and mechanisms of probucol on erectile *** Sprague–Dawley(SD)male rats(12 weeks old)were fasted for 12 *** SD rats were injected with a single intraperitoneal injection of 60 mg kg−1 streptozotocin(STZ).Ten rats were given vehicle only and used as a sham *** 72 h,20 STZ-treated rats with random blood glucose concentrations consistently greater than 16.7 mmol l^−1 were used as successfully established diabetic *** diabetic rats were divided randomly into two groups and treated with a daily gavage of probucol at a dose of 0 or 500 mg kg^−1 for 12 *** treatment,the intracavernous pressure(ICP)was used to measure erectile function upon electrical stimulation of the cavernous *** euthanasia,penile tissue was examined using immunohistochemistry and Western blot to assess the protein levels of B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2),BCL2-associated X(Bax),microtubule-associated protein light chain 3-II(LC3-II),mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR),and sequestosome 1(P62).Caspase-3 activity was measured to determine apoptosis using a caspase-3 assay *** 12 weeks of treatment,the erectile function of the probucol group was significantly better than that of the DM group(P<0.05).Bax and LC3-II protein expression and caspase-3 activity were significantly lower in the probucol group than those in the DM group(all P<0.05),while Bcl-2,mTOR,and P62 protein expression levels were significantly higher than those in the DM group(all P<0.05).We demonstrated that probucol inhibited apoptosis and autophagy in STZ-induced diabetic rats.
