Aims: To determine clinical correlates and optimal treatment strategy in patients with cardiogenic shock.CS) on admission. Methods and results: In SHould we emergently revascularize Occluded Coronaries in cardiogenic shock.(SHOCk. trial and registry patients with left ventricular(LV) dysfunction(n=1053), CS on admission occurred in 26% of directly admitted patients(n=166/627). Time from myocardial infarction to CS was shorter, initial haemodynamic profile poorer, and aggressive treatment less frequent in CS on admission than in delayed CS patients. CS on admission patients constituted a smaller relative proportion(11% ) of the transferred(n=48/426) when compared with the directly admitted cohort(P< 0.001). Inhospital mortality was higher(75 vs. 56% ; P< 0.001) with more rapid death(24-h mortality 40 vs. 17% ; P< 0.001) in CS on admission than in delayed CS patients. Emergency revascularization reduced in-hospital mortality in CS on admission(60 vs. 82% ; P=0.001) and in delayed CS patients similarly(46 vs.62% ; P< 0.001; interaction P=0.25). After adjustment for clinical differences, CS on admission was an independent predictor of in-hospital mortality(P=0.008). Conclusion: CS on admission patients have a worse outcome but benefit equally from emergency revascularization as delayed CS patients, emphasizing the need for rapid and direct access of CS on admission patients to facilities providing this care.

The hot deformation behavior of as-cast ZE41A magnesium alloy was studied by employing both processing maps and microstructural observations. To obtain processing map, hot compression tests were performed over a range of strain rates (0.001-1.0 s-1) and temperatures (250-450 ℃). Power dissipation efficiency (η) and instability parameter [ξ (ε)] were evaluated and processing maps were developed for the strain of 0.5. The dynamic recrystallization (DRX) and instable zones were identified and validated through micrographs. The processing maps can be used to select optimum strain rates and temperatures for effective hot work.ng of the material.

Branchio-oto-renal syndrome （BOR） is autosomal dominant disorder which generates hearing impairment and k.dney failures in affected individuals. The disease genomic maps were drawn back.in recent years, demonstrating, missense mutations responsible in disease were located in SIX1, EYA1 and EYA2 genes. We try to uncover molecular biology of the syndrome with bioinformatics perspective, tak.ng S1X1 and EYA2 protein interaction at center point. The study initiated with 23 natural mutations of SIX1 gene. They were first analyzed with prediction servers lik. SIFT, PolyPhen2, I Mutant, SNPs＆GO, PHD-SNP and Panther, to identify their impact on their structural stability and function. Subsequently it narrowed down to seven consistent with our quest. They were analyzed on IUPred disorder prediction server. Later SIX1 and its all mutant proteins were dock.d with EYA2 protein using GRAMM-X server. The binding affinity of dock.d structures was analyzed using DFIRE2 algorithm. The results justify the earlier wet laboratory studies and indicate the reason behind them. Finally we summarize that the proven inactivity of all other mutants is due to the structural disorder created by mutations, hence usual molecular interaction is hindered; strangely protein interaction tak.s place at DNA binding site of SIX1 mutants.

Deep wellbores/boreholes are generally drilled into rock. for oil and gas exploration,monitoring of tectonic stresses *** and tunnel in depth are generally in true triaxial stress state,even if the ground is under axisymmetric loading *** of such wellbores is very critical and collapse of wellbore must be ***-Coulomb failure criterion is a better representation of rock.strength under true triaxial *** this paper,an analytical solution is proposed using Mogi-Coulomb failure *** solution is obtained for rock.mass exhibiting elastic-perfectly plastic or elastic-brittle-plastic behaviour considering in-plane isotropic *** proposed solution is then compared with exact analytical solution for incompressible material and experimental results of thick.all *** is shown that the results obtained by the proposed analytical solution are in good agreement with the experimental results and exact analytical solution.A reduction of about 13%e20%in plastic zone from the proposed closed-form solution is observed,as compared to the results from the finite element method(FEM)based Mohr-Coulomb ***,the influences of various parameters such as Poisson’s ratio,internal pressure(mud weight),dilation angle,and out-of-plane stress are studied in terms of stress and deformation responses of *** results of the parametric study reveal that variation in the out-of-plane stress has an inverse relation with the radius of plastic ***’s ratio does not have an appreciable influence on the tangential stress,radial stress and radial *** angle has a direct relation with the *** pressure is found to have an inverse relation with the radial deformation and the radius of plastic zone.

Synthesis of nanostructured Ru-doped SnO2 was successfully carried out using the reverse microemulsion method. The phase purity and the crystallite size were analyzed by XRD. The surface morphology and the microstructure of synthesized nanoparticles were analyzed by SEM and TEM. The vibration mode of nanoparticles was investigated using FTIR and Raman studies. The electrochemical behavior of the Ru- doped SnO2 electrode was evaluated in a 0.1 mol/L Na2SO4 solution using cyclic voltammetry. The 5% Ru-doped SnO2 electrode exhibited a high specific capacitance of 535.6 Fig at a scan rate 20 mV/s, possessing good conductivity as well as the electro- cycling stability. The Ru-doped SnO2 composite shows excellent electrochemical properties, suggesting that this composite is a promising material for supercapacitors.

In this work. the most detrimental missense mutations of Madl protein that cause various types of cancer were identified computationally and the substrate binding efficiencies of those missense mutations were analyzed. Out of 13 missense mutations, I Mutant 2.0, SIFT and PolyPhen programs identified 3 variants that were less stable, deleterious and damaging respectively. Subsequently, modeling of these 3 variants was performed to understand the change in their conformations with respect to the native Madl by computing their root mean squared deviation （RMSD）. Furthermore, the native protein and the 3 mutants were dock.d with the binding partner Mad2 to explain the substrate binding efficiencies of those detrimental missense mutations. The dock.ng studies identified that all the 3 mutants caused lower binding affinity for Mad2 than the native protein. Finally, normal mode analysis determined that the loss of binding affinity of these 3 mutants was caused by altered flexibility in the amino acids that bind to Mad2 compared with the native protein. Thus, the present study showed that majority of the substrate binding amino acids in those 3 mutants displayed loss of flexibility, which could be the theoretical explanation of decreased binding affinity between the mutant Madl and Mad2.

Present study shows suspended sediment dynamics in the meltwater of Chhota Shigri glacier,Himachal Pradesh,India for different melt seasons during the period *** suspended sediment concentration in the meltwater was found during the month of July 2011,2012 and 2014 constituting to 55.2%,48.3% and 46.9%,*** in 2013,maximum suspended sediment concentration was observed in August accounting for46.1% of the *** the other hand,maximum suspended sediment load was monitored in the month of July 2011,2012 and 2014 constituting 59.5%,63% and 55.7% of the total,*** in2013,maximum suspended sediment load was observed in the month of August accounting for 49.8% of the total suspended sediment *** distribution of suspended sediment concentration(SSC)and suspended sediment load(SSL)in the Chhota Shigri glacier shows higher value of SSC and SSL during the study period 2012 and 2013,which may be due to the presence of high glacial runoff and negative mass balance of the studied area during these time *** diurnal variation has been observed in the SSC of *** correlation was observed between SSC and SSL with *** the other hand,SSC and SSL also showed strong exponential correlation with air temperature of the studied *** yield from the catchment of Chhota Shigri glacier is high during the peak.melt season(July and August)and low during the late melt season(September and October).The average value of erosion rate for Chhota Shigri glacier basin during the study period 2011-2014 was calculated to be 1.1mm/yr,which is lower than the average erosion rate of other Himalayan glaciers such as Rak.ot,Chorabari and Gangotri glaciers,which may be caused by its geological setting containing high erosion resistant rock. such as granite,granite gneiss and porphyritic granite.

Computational and Structural Investigation of Deleterious Functional SNPs in Breast Cancer BRCA2 Gene

In this work. we have analyzed the genetic variation that can alter the expression and the function in BRCA2 gene using computational methods. Out of the total 534 SNPs, 101 were found to be non synonymous (nsSNPs). Among the 7 SNPs in the untranslated region, 3 SNPs were found in 5′ and 4 SNPs were found in 3′ un-translated regions (UTR). Of the nsSNPs 20.7% were found to be damaging by both SIFT and PolyPhen server among the 101 nsSNPs investigated. UTR resource tool suggested that 2 SNPs in the 5′ UTR region and 4 SNPs in the 3′ UTR regions might change the protein expression levels. The mutation from asparagine to isoleucine at the position 3124 of the native protein of BRCA2 gene was most deleterious by both SIFT and PolyPhen servers. A structural analysis of this mutated protein and the native protein was made which had an RMSD value of 0.301 nm. Based on this work. we proposed that this most deleterious nsSNP with an SNPid rs28897759 is an important candidate for the cause of breast cancer by BRCA2 gene.
