Effective technology for wind direction forecasting can be realized using the recent advances in machine ***,the stability and safety of power systems are expected to be significantly ***,the unstable and unpredictable qualities of the wind predict the wind direction a challenging *** paper proposes a practical forecasting approach based on the weighted ensemble of machine learning *** weighted ensemble is optimized using a whale optimization algorithm guided by particle swarm optimization(PSO-Guided WOA).The proposed optimized weighted ensemble predicts the wind direction given a set of input *** conducted experiments employed the wind power forecasting dataset,freely available on Kaggle and developed to predict the regular power generation at seven wind farms over forty-eight *** recorded results of the conducted experiments emphasize the effectiveness of the proposed ensemble in achieving accurate predictions of the wind *** addition,a comparison is established between the proposed optimized ensemble and other competing optimized ensembles to prove its ***,statistical analysis using one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)and Wilcoxon’s rank-sum are provided based on the recorded results to confirm the excellent accuracy achieved by the proposed optimized weighted ensemble.

Human metapneumovirus (hMPV), a newly discovered paramyxovirus, has been associated with acute respiratory tract infections (ArI) ranging from upper ArI to severe bronchiolitis and pneumonia. Important questions remain on the contribution of hMPV to ArI, and it’s impact on public health. During the 2001-2002 season, we conducted a collaborative study with four provincial public health laboratories to study the prevalence of this new virus in the Canadian population. A total of 445 specimens were collected from patients of all age groups suffering from ArI and tested for the presence of hMPV by rT-PEr. Of these, 66(14.8%) tested positive for hMPV Positive(?)

An Antenna Diversity Scheme for Digital Front-End with OFDM Technology

In,this paper, we propose a new antenna diversity scheme for OFDM-based wireless communication and digital broadcasting applications. Compared with existing schemes, such as post-fast Fourier transform （FFT）, pre-FFT, and polyphase-based fitter-bank, the proposed scheme performs optimally and has very low computational complexity. It offers a better compromise between performance, power consumption, and complexity in real-time implementation of the receivers of broadband communication and digital broadcasting systems.
