Floating potential fluctuations of glow discharge magnetized plasma are found to expose mixed mode oscillations(MMOs)in the existence of plasma *** bubble has been formed by emerging density gradient in the form of a sheath around a cylindrical and spherical grid to a critical value of applied *** Langmuir probes,LP1 and LP2,are retained in the ambient plasma to collect the plasma floating potential fluctuations at two different locations of the plasma *** perceived instability pattern shows regular-irregular-regular MMOs under various imposed ***,various nonlinear techniques such as phase space plot,recurrence plot and Hurst exponent have been executed to understand the underlying dynamical behavior of the ***-frequency(~200–1200 Hz)oscillations are also supposed and are inferred as ion-acoustic waves excited by ionization *** observed results are then validated with the theory of the instability based on a fluid hydrodynamic approach.

Emissive probes are the tools for the direct deter- mination of the plasma potential ~PL and they deliver a more reliable measure of φPL compared to the indi- rect measurements with cold Langmuir probes. The emissive probe works on the principle of compensating the well-known asymmetry of the I-V characteristic of a single cold Langmuir probe by an electron emission current from the probe into the plasma. In an ideal case, the saturated value of floating potential V（А,em） of a highly emissive probe should equal the plasma potential. A conventional emissive probe usu- ally consists of a loop of tungsten wire heated by an electric current passing through it. These conven- tional emissive probes containing an electric current- heated metal wire loop suffer a huge drawback when it comes to their lifetime. The metal wire used in these probes evaporates and subsequently breaks when heated with high current, leading to frequent replacements of these wires. When used in ultra high vacuum （UHV） plasma systems, frequent replacement of these wires requires frequent vacuum breaks in the plasma systems. In many plasma systems espe- cially in magnetized toroidal hot plasmas like toka- maks, where determination of the electric fields leads to a great deal of useful information, frequent breaking of the vacuum is impossible for changing the filament of the emissive probes. Hence, along with the other drawbacks of the conventional emissive probes such as limited emission current, bending in a magnetic field makes their use impractical in these plasma systems. The most suitable alternative is the emissive probes heated by a focused infra-red laser. Due to them having several advantages over the conventional emis- sive probes, laser heated emissive probes （LHEPs） are found to have more and more uses in plasma systems. In the era of digital signal processing,like graphics and computation systems,multiplication-accumulation is one of the prime operations.A MAC unit is a vital component of a digital system,like different Fast Fourier Transform(FFT)algorithms,convolution,image processing algorithms,*** the domain of digital signal processing,the use of normalization architecture is very *** main objective of using normalization is to performcomparison and shift *** this research paper,an evolutionary approach for designing an optimized normalization algorithm is proposed using basic logical blocks such as Multiplexer,Adder *** proposed normalization algorithm is further used in designing an 8×8 bit Signed Floating-Point Multiply-Accumulate(SFMAC)*** the SFMAC can accept an 8-bit significand and a 3-bit exponent,the input to the said architecture can be somewhere between−(7.96872)_(10) to+(7.96872)_(10).The proposed architecture is designed and implemented using the Cadence Virtuoso using 90 and 130 nm technologies(in Generic Process Design Kit(GPDK)and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company(TSMC),respectively).To reduce the power consumption of the proposed normalization architecture,techniques such as“block enabling”and“clock gating”are used *** to the analysis done on Cadence,the proposed architecture uses the least amount of power compared to its current predecessors.

In the state Meghalaya,northeast India,>80%of the forest lands are owned by local communities and managed by traditional *** forests are under severe threats due to a number of human *** present study was conducted to assess the plant diversity and identify the community forests for priority conservation in Khasi Hills of *** explorations carried out in the 87 forests reveals the presence of 1300 plant species of which 400 are either rare,endemic or *** the different forest categories,reserve forests had the highest number of species(1190),followed by sacred forests(987 species)and village forests(786 species).Majority of the forests(56)had high-species richness,irreplaceability level(42 forests)and vulnerability level(54).In terms of area,13.8%(1666.8 ha)fall under low risk while 1855 ha under high risk *** risk zone was mostly represented by village *** area of 7661.56 ha of community forests falls under high priority category and hence calls for immediate conservation *** conservation priority map generated in the present study will help to concentrate the protection strategy to the demarcated and adjoining areas and help conservationists and planners to evolve effective strategies for conservation of the community forests.
