Oil from seeds of Diospyros lotus was extracted using a conventional method with two different solvents:hexane and petroleum ether. A central composite design with response surface methodology were used to optimize the process. A second-order polynomial equation was employed, and ANOVA was applied to evaluate the impact of various operating parameters including extraction temperature(x_1; 44.9–70.1 °C), extraction time(x_2;5.0–10.0 h) and solvent to solid ratio(x_3;11.6–28.4 mL g^(-1)), on oil yield. Experiments to validate the model showed decent conformity between predicted and actual values. Extraction conditions for optimal oil yield were 61 °C, 8.75 h extraction duration and 19.25 mL g^(-1) solvent to solid ratio. Under these conditions, the oil yield was predicted to be 5.1340%. Oil samples obtained were then analyzed using gas chromatography. The fatty acid composition revealed the major fatty acids to be oleic acid(C18:1) and linoleic acid(C18:2). The analysis of oil also demonstrated a decent ratio between omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. The structure of seeds was imaged using scanning electron microscopy. Oil quality was analyzed thermogravimetrically and by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The assigned nutritional features of the D. lotus oil suggested that it can be used as an edible oil in pharmaceutical and food industry in the future.

In this paper, the stability of a cubic functional equation in the setting of intuitionistic random normed spaces is proved. We first introduce the notation of intuitionistic random normed spaces. Then, by virtue of this notation, we study the stability of a cubic functional equation in the setting of these spaces under arbitrary triangle norms. Furthermore, we present the interdisciplinary relation among the theory of random spaces, the theory of intuitionistic spaces, and the theory of functional equations.

rolling process of symmetrical non-bonded sandwich sheets was investigated by the method of upper bound. A deformation model was proposed and the mathematical relations of the velocity components were developed. The internal, shear and frictional power terms were derived and used in the upper bound model. Through the analysis, the rolling force, mean contact pressure and final thickness of each layer were determined. The validity of the proposed analytical model was discussed by comparing the theoretical predictions with the experimental data found in the literatures. Effects of various rolling conditions such as the flow stress ratio, initial thickness ratio of the raw sheets and total thickness reduction upon the rolling torque were analyzed. The accuracy of the developed analytical model was very high.

In the present study,a new biodegradable Mg-Zn-Cu magnesium alloy was introduced for biological *** microstructural analysis showed the formation of Mg Zn Cu intermetallics for the Mg-2Zn-0.1Cu alloy and also the Mg(Zn,Cu);compounds for the Mg-2 Zn alloys with higher Cu ***,the hot extrusion was applied for the grain refinement and changing the distribution of *** vitro immersion tests,electrochemical and corroded surface analyses represented the enhancement of corrosion resistance with 0.1 wt.%Cu ***,the extruded alloys demonstrated more corrosion resistance behavior than that of the cast *** considering the improved tensile properties of Mg-2Zn-0.1Cu alloy,this alloy was regarded as the potential candidate for use as the biodegradable magnesium implant.

Purpose: Successful application experiences on public-private partnership (PPP) in different countries, suggest that PPP could be an option in road traffic injury (rTI) prevention. The present study aims at investigating the applicability of PPP policy in rTI prevention in Iran based on the experts’ ***: This is a qualitative study with grounded theory approach which has been conducted in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 2018. The participants were 22 experts in the field of rTIs selected using purposive sampling method. Data were collected by semi-structured interviews and analyzed with content-analysis ***: The results were classified under 5 main themes (applicability, scopes and services, challenges, advantages, and strategies) for applying PPP policy and 37 sub-themes. Due to the prevalence of rTIs, the present challenges in public sector, existence of qualified private sector, and successful experiences in other areas, there are opportunities for private sector partnership in prevention of rTIs. Private sector could participate in different scopes and services regarding rTI prevention, including road construction and maintenance, maintenance and provision of vehicles safety and public education. The main challenges including legislation issues, ambiguities in collaboration, political and organizational unsustain-ability, government’s financial hardship and lack of experienced experts in the field of rTI. However, there are significant advantages including high efficiency in program implementation, covering the weaknesses of public sector, effective and efficient management on application of PPP in rTI prevention.
