refinement of the Proposed Gamma-ray Burst Time Delay Model

This paper is the second instalment in our study of the observed time delay in the arrival times of radio photons emanating from Gamma ray Bursts (GrBs). The mundane assumption in contemporary physics as to the cause of these pondersome time delays is that they are a result of the photon being endowed with a non-zero mass. While we do not rule out the possibility of a non-zero mass for the photon, our working assumption is that the major cause of these time delays may very well be that these photons are travelling in a rarefied cosmic plasma in which the medium’s electrons interact with the electric component of the Photon, thus generating tiny currents that lead to dispersion, hence, a frequency-dependent speed of Light (FDSL). In the present instalment, we “improve” on the model presented in the first instalment by dropping the assumption that the resultant pairs of these radio photons leave the shock front simultaneously. The new assumption of a non-simultaneous— albeit systematic—emission of these photon pairs allows us to obtain a much more convincing and stronger correlation in the time delay. This new correlation allows us to build a unified model for the four GrBs in our sample using a relative distance correction mechanism. The new unified model allows us to obtain as our most significant result a value for the frequency equivalence of the interstellar medium (ISM)’s conductance ν* ~ 1.500 ± 0.009 Hzand also an independent distance measure to the GrBs where we obtain for our four GrB samples an average distance of: ~69.40 ± 0.10, 40.00 ± 0.00, 58.40 ± 0.40, and 86.00 ± 1.00 Mpc, for GrB 030329, 980425, 000418 and 021004 respectively.

In this paper, we consider a new class CS＊s,b of generalized close-to-starlike functions, which is defined by means of the srivastava-Attiya operator Js,b involving the Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta function φ（z, s, a）. Basic results such as inclusion relations, coefficient inequalities and other interesting properties of this class are investigated. relevant connections of some of the results presented here with those that were obtained in earlier investigations are pointed out briefly.

Synthesis and enhanced photoluminescence properties of red emitting divalent ion(Ca^(2+))doped Eu:Y_(2)O_(3)nanophosphors for optoelectronic applications

This work presents the synthesis of Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+),χCa^(2+)(χ=0 mol%,1 mol%,3 mol%,5 mol%,7 mol%,9 mol%,11 mol%)nanophosphors with enhanced photoluminescence properties through a facile solution combustion method for optoelectronic,display,and lighting *** X-ray diffraction(XrD)patterns of the proposed nanophosphor reveal its structural properties and crystalline *** transmission electron microscope(TEM)results confirm the change in the shape of the particle and aggregation of particles after co-doping with Ca^(2+).Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIr)and raman vibrations also confirm the presence of Y-O vibration and subsequently explain the crystalline nature,structural properties,and purity of the *** the synthesized nanophosphors samples emit intense red emission at 613 nm(~5D_(0)→~7 F_(2))under excitation with 235,394 and 466 nm wavelengths of Eu^(3+)*** photoluminescence(PL)emission spectra excited with 235 nm illustrate the highest emission peak with two other emission peaks excited with 466 and 394 nm that is 1.4 times higher than 466 nm and 1.9 times enhanced by 394 nm wavelength,*** emission intensity of Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+),χCa^(2+)(5 mol%)is increased 8-fold as compared to Eu:Y_(2)O_(3).Doping with Ca^(2+)ions enhances the emission intensity of Eu:Y_(2)O_(3)nanopho sphors due to an increase in energy transfer in Ca^(2+)→Eu^(3+)through asymmetry in the crystal field and by introduction of radiative defect centers through oxygen vacancies in the yttria *** is also observed that the optical band gap and the lifetime of the~5D_(0)level of Eu^(3+)ions in Y_(2)O_(3):Eu^(3+),xCa^(2+)nanophosphor sample gets changed with a doping conce ntration of Ca^(2+)*** also reveals high thermal stability and quantum yield as estimating activation energy of 0.25 eV and 81%,***,CCT,and color purity values(>98%)show an improved red-emitting nanophosphor in the warm region of light,which m

In the present paper, the authors introduce a new integral transform which yields a number of potentially useful （known or new） integral transfoms as its special cases. Many fundamental results about this new integral transform, which are established in this paper, in- clude （for example） existence theorem, Parseval-type relationship and inversion formula. The relationship between the new integral transform with the H-function and the H-transform are characterized by means of some integral identities. The introduced transform is also used to find solution to a certain differential equation. Some illustrative examples are also given.

Ce-Co-doped BiFeO_3 multiferroic for optoelectronic and photovoltaic applications

The Ce-Co-doped BiFeO3 multiferroic, Bi（1-x）Ce）xFe（1-x）CoxO3（x = 0.00, 0.01, 0.03, and 0.05）, has been prepared by a sol-gel auto-combustion method and analyzed through raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence, and UV-visible spectroscopy. We have observed an anomalous intensity of the second-order raman mode at - 1260 cm^-1 in pure BFO and suppressed intensity in doped samples, which indicates the presence of spin two-phonon coupling in these *** photoluminescence spectra show reduction in the intensity of emission with the increasing dopant concentration, which indicates the high charge separation efficiency. A sharp absorption with three charge transfer（C-T） and two d-d transitions are shown by UV-visible spectra in the visible region. The band gap of BiFeO3（BFO） is decreasing with increasing dopant concentrations and the materials are suitable for photovoltaic applications.

枫糖尿病(MSUD)也称支链酮酸尿症,它是由于一组支链α酮酸脱氢酶复合体(BCkDC)基因突变而引起BCkD复合体活性缺乏的常染色体隐性遗传的代谢紊乱疾病。MSUD患者中支链氨基酸(BCAA)代谢紊乱,导致血浆、组织和尿液中积累大量的支链氨基酸和支链酮酸(BCkA)。MSUD患者主要临床表现为进行性神经功能恶化,伴有运动迟缓、共济失调、智力障碍和精神症状的病理生理学特征,其主要是由于氨基酸代谢失衡而导致脑中蛋白质和神经递质合成缺失。而高BCAA/BCkA水平大幅度加重神经系统症状,表明BCAA/BCkA具有神经毒性。目前大量来自人类和动物模型实验数据证实,BCAA/BCkA特别是亮氨酸和α-kIC在MSUD脑损伤的发病机制中起到非常重要的作用。这篇综述主要介绍BCAA/BCkA代谢紊乱在MSUD患者神经失调中起到的潜在病理机制。BCAA/BCkA代谢失调不仅影响其他中性氨基酸水平的显著下降从而减少蛋白质和神经递质合成,还导致线粒体中能量代谢失调从而影响脑的正常功能,这些病理机制可能导致MSUD患者的神经系统后遗症。我们希望通过了解MSUD具体的病理机制,为MSUD治疗提供新的治疗策略和药物靶点。

Performance Analysis of Silicon and Blue Phosphorene/MoS2 Hetero-Structure Based SPr Sensor

Surface plasmon resonance (SPr) sensor based on the blue phosphorene/MoS2 hetero-structure is presented to enhance the performance parameters, i.e., sensitivity, detection accuracy, and quality *** blue phosphorene/MoS2 hetero-structure works as an interacting layer with the analyte for the enhancement of the sensitivity of the sensor. It is observed that the sensitivity of blue phosphorene/MoS2 based sensor (i.e., structure-Ⅱ) is improved by 5.75%, from the conventional sensor (i.e., structure-Ⅲ). Further, an additional silicon nanolayer is introduced between the metal layer and blue phosphorene/MoS2 hetero-structure. The sensitivity of the proposed blue phosphorene/MoS2 hetero-structure with a silicon layer SPr sensor, i.e., structure-Ⅰ, is enhanced by 44.76% from structure-Ⅱ and 55.75% from structure-Ⅲ due to an enhancement in the evanescent field near the metal-analyte interface. Finally, it is observed that at the optimum thickness of silicon between the gold layer and blue phosphorene/MoS2, performance parameters of the sensor are enhanced.

Drought-Tolerant Pseudomonas spp. Improve the Growth Performance of Finger Millet(Eleusine coracana(L.) Gaertn.)Under Non-Stressed and Drought-Stressed Conditions

Application of plant growth-promoting bacteria(PGPB)is an environmentally sustainable option to reduce the effects of abiotic and biotic stresses on plant growth and *** 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid(ACC)deaminase-producing drought-tolerant bacteria were isolated from a rain-fed agriculture field in the Central Himalaya of kumaun region,Uttarakhand,India and evaluated for their efficiency in improving finger millet(Eleusine coracana(L.)Gaertn.)plant growth under non-stressed and drought-stressed *** bacteria withstood a substrate metric potential of -1.0 MPa(30% polyethylene glycol 8000)and therefore were considered *** strains were identified as Pseudomonas *** fatty acid methyl ester analysis and 16S rrNA gene *** ACC deaminase activity of these strains was characterized at the biochemical level,and the presence of acd S gene,the structural gene for ACC deaminase,was confirmed by the polymerase chain *** sets of pot trials in glass house were set up,one for normal(non-stressed)and the other for drought-stressed *** 5 weeks,one set of plants was subjected to drought stress for 5 d,while the other set continued to be *** same growth parameters were recorded for both sets of plants after 40 d of plant *** results of pot trials showed that treatments inoculated with ACC deaminase-producing bacterial strains significantly improved the growth performance of finger millet plants and foliar nutrient content as compared to uninoculated treatments under both non-stressed and drought-stressed *** addition,a significant increase in antioxidant activity was observed,wherein bacterial stain inoculation improved plant fitness by protecting it from oxidative damage induced by drought.
