The dramatic rise in the number of people living in cities has made many environmental and social problems *** search for a productive method for disposing of solid waste is the most notable of these *** scholars have referred to it as a fuzzy multi-attribute or multi-criteria decision-making problem using various fuzzy set-like approaches because of the inclusion of criteria and anticipated *** goal of the current study is to use an innovative methodology to address the expected uncertainties in the problem of solid waste site *** characteristics(or sub-attributes)that decision-makers select and the degree of approximation they accept for various options can both be indicators of these *** tackle these problems,a novel mathematical structure known as the fuzzy parameterized possibility single valued neutrosophic hypersoft expert set(ρˆ-set),which is initially described,is integrated with a modified version of Sanchez’s *** this,an intelligent algorithm is *** steps of the suggested algorithm are explained with an example that explains *** compatibility of solid waste management sites and systems is discussed,and rankings are established along with detailed justifications for their *** study’s strengths lie in its application of fuzzy parameterization and possibility grading to effectively handle the uncertainties embodied in the parameters’nature and alternative approximations,*** uses specific mathematical formulations to compute the fuzzy parameterized degrees and possibility grades that are missing from the prior *** is simpler for the decisionmakers to look at each option separately because the decision is *** the computed results,it is discovered that they are consistent and dependable because of their preferred properties.

Synergistic impacts of rifampicin and doxorubicin against thioacetamide-induced hepatocellular carcinoma in rats

Background and aims:Combination therapy is a promising new strategy that has been proposed to increase the efficacy of cancer *** aimed to investigate the anti-cancer activity of rifampicin monotherapy and its combination with doxorubicin against hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Materials and methods:The in vitro half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC50)and selectivity index(SI)of the drugs under investigation against HepG2 and human lung fibroblast(WI38)cell lines were *** the in vivo experiment,male Sprague-Dawley albino rats were injected with thioacetamide at 200 mg/kg twice a week for 90 days;HCC development was confirmed *** HCC induction,the rats were treated with intraperitoneal doxorubicin,rifampicin,or their combination for 45 or 90 *** sacrifice,the livers were examined *** levels of aminotransferases,albumin,bilirubin,malondialdehyde,superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),total antioxidant capacity(TAC),and nitric oxide were measured by ***,cancer antigen 19-9,tumor necrosis factor-alpha,interleukin-6,Bcl-2-associated X protein,caspase 3,caspase 8,and p53 were estimated using ***:In vitro,the combination of doxorubicin and rifampicin showed the highest SI of *** vivo,among the measured markers,the levels of TAC,CAT,SOD,and p53 decreased(Prest of the measured marker levels increased(Pring rats;after treatment in all groups,all these changes improved toward normal in a time-dependent *** combination of doxorubicin and rifampicin optimized the effects of the two individual drugs and exerted the best antioxidant ***:In general,compared with rifampicin or doxorubicin alone,combination therapy has favorable *** on our results,the combination of rifampicin and doxorubicin might be applicable for HCC chemotherapy.

The dual-function of bioactive peptides derived from oyster (Crassostrea gigas) proteins hydrolysates

Oysters(Crassostrea gigas)have a wide range of functionality due to their nutritional and bioactive components. However, the bioactive peptides of oyster proteins are rarely reported, particularly their antidiabetes effects and antioxidants. Oyster proteins were extracted from fresh oysters using phosphatebuffered saline and simulated gastrointestinal digestion was performed. The degree of hydrolysis(DH), structural characterization, molecular weight(Mw)distribution, free amino acid, anti-diabetic activity, and antioxidant activity were studied during in vitro simulated gastrointestinal digestion. The results showed that the α-glucosidase inhibitory activity, α-amylase inhibitory activity, DPPH radical scavenging activity, and ABTS radical scavenging activity of the oyster protein gastrointestinal digest were increased(P rom 0 to 33.96%, from 9.17% to 44.22%, from 9.01 μg trolox/mg protein to 18.48 μg trolox/mg protein, and from 21.44 μg trolox/mg protein to 56.21 μg trolox/mg protein, respectively. Additionally, the DH, β-turn structure, fluorescence intensity, free amino acid, and short peptide content(Mw reased in the simulated gastrointestinal digestion. These results indicate that the digestive hydrolysates obtained from oyster proteins could be used as natural anti-diabetic and antioxidant agents.

Synthesis, in vitro antitumor activity and molecular modeling studies of a new series of benzothiazole Schiff bases

A new series of benzothiazole Schiff bases 3–29 was synthesized and screened for antitumor activity against cervical cancer（Hela） and kidney fibroblast cancer（COS-7） cell lines. results indicated that compounds 3, 14, 19, 27 and 28 have promising activity against Hela cell line with IC50 values of 2.41,3.06, 6.46, 2.22 and 6.25 mmol/L, respectively, in comparison to doxorubicin as a reference antitumor agent（IC50 2.05 mmol/L）. In addition, compound 3 displayed excellent activity against COS-7 cell line with IC50 value of 4.31 mmol/L in comparison to doxorubicin（IC50 3.04 mmol/L）. In the present work,structure based pharmacophore mapping, molecular docking, protein-ligand interaction, fingerprints and binding energy calculations were employed in a virtual screening strategy to identify the interaction between the compounds and the active site of the putative target, EGFr tyrosine kinase. Molecular properties, toxicity, drug-likeness, and drug score profiles of compounds 3, 14, 19, 27, 28 and 29 were also assessed.

Maxillofacial Prosthesis for Partial Edentulism with Maxillary Bone Loss

Maxillary bone loss impairs essential functions (chewing, swallowing, speech) and gives patients a very unaesthetic appearance due to the removal of facial support tissues, leading to serious psychological consequences. Treatment is multidisciplinary and requires a resective surgery if the cause is tumor-related, or an additive surgery if the cause is traumatic. This article aims to show the role of making a prosthesis to restore function (chewing, swallowing, speech) and aesthetics following maxillary bone loss. We will eighter present a clinical case involving a right maxillary tumor that was surgically resected followed by radiotherapy, and subsequently rehabilitated with a maxillofacial prosthesis in the consultation and dental treatment center of the university hospital center of Casablanca.

Spinal cord injury remains a major cause of disability in young adults,and beyond acute decompression and rehabilitation,there are no pharmacological treatments to limit the progression of injury and optimize recovery in this *** the thorough investigation of the complement system in triggering and propagating cerebral neuroinflammation,a similar role for complement in spinal neuroinflammation is a focus of ongoing *** this work,we survey the current literature investigating the role of complement in spinal cord injury including the sources of complement proteins,triggers of complement activation,and role of effector functions in the *** study relevant data demonstrating the different triggers of complement activation after spinal cord injury including direct binding to cellular debris,and or activation via antibody binding to damage-associated molecular *** effector functions of complement have been implicated in spinal cord injury,and we critically evaluate recent studies on the dual role of complement anaphylatoxins in spinal cord injury while emphasizing the lack of pathophysiological understanding of the role of opsonins in spinal cord *** this pathophysiological review,we systematically review the different translational approaches used in preclinical models of spinal cord injury and discuss the challenges for future translation into human *** review emphasizes the need for future studies to dissect the roles of different complement pathways in the pathology of spinal cord injury,to evaluate the phases of involvement of opsonins and anaphylatoxins,and to study the role of complement in white matter degeneration and regeneration using translational strategies to supplement genetic models.

Synthesis,antimicrobial, antiquorum-sensing and cytotoxic activities of new series of benzothiazole derivatives

New series of benzothiazole derivatives were designed and synthesized. The newly synthesized compounds were screened for their antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus cereus. Compounds 6j and 6o showed the highest activity against E. coli and S. aureus. The antifungal activity of these compounds was also tested against Candida albicans and Aspergillus fumigatus293. Compounds 4c, 4g and 6j exhibited the highest activity against C. albicans. In addition, compounds4 a and 6j displayed promising activity against A. fumigatus 293. The same compounds were examined for their antiquorum-sensing activity against Chromobacterium violaceum ATCC 12472, whereas compounds4 a, 6j and 6p showed moderate activity. The in vitro cytotoxicity testing of the synthesized compounds was performed against cervical cancer（Hela） and kidney fibroblast cancer（COS-7） cell lines. results indicated that all tested compounds have IC50 values 〉50 mmol/L against both cell lines. Molecular properties, toxicities, drug-likeness, and drug score profiles of compounds 4a–c, 5a, 6g,h, 6j, 6l, 6o and7 c,d were also assessed.

INrA82 extender enhances semen quality in ram under cooled and cryopreserved stages
