Most of the present knowledge on submarine landslides relies upon back-analysis of post-failure deposits identified using geophysical *** this paper,the runout of slides on rigid bases is explored using the material point method（MPM）with focus on the geotechnical aspects of the *** MPM,the sliding material and bases are discretised into a number of Lagrangian particles,and a background Eulerian mesh is employed to update the state of the *** morphologies of the slide can be reproduced by tracking the Lagrangian particles in the dynamic processes.A real case history of a submarine slide is back-analyzed with the MPM and also a depth-averaged *** of the slides from steep slopes to moderate bases are *** different combinations of soil and basal parameters are assumed to trigger runout mechanisms of elongation,block sliding and *** runout distances predicted by the MPM match well with those from large deformation finite element analysis for the elongation and block sliding *** and grabens are shaped in a spreading ***,the current MPM simulations for materials with high sensitivities are relatively mesh sensitive.

Glioblastoma(GbM),the deadliest form of brain cancer,presents long-standing problems due to its *** antigen receptor(CAr)T cell immunotherapy has emerged as a powerful strategy to treat ***-13-receptor-α2(IL13rα2),present in over 75%of GbMs,has been recognized as an attractive candidate for antiglioblastoma ***,we propose a novel multidisciplinary approach to target brain tumors using a combination of fluorescent,therapeutic nanoparticles and CAr T cells modified with a targeted-quadruplemutant of IL13(TQM-13)shown to have high binding affinity to IL13rα2-expressing glioblastoma cells with low off-target ***-alkyne cycloaddition conjugation of nanoparticles to the surface of T cells allowed a facile,selective,and high-yielding clicking of the *** clicked onto T cells were retained for at least 8 days showing that the linkage is stable and promising a suitable time window for in vivo delivery.T cells clicked with doxorubicin-loaded nanoparticles showed a higher cytotoxic effect in vitro compared to bare T *** vitro and in vivo T cells expressing TQM-13 served as delivery shuttles for nanoparticles and significantly increased the number of nanoparticles reaching brain tumors compared to nanoparticles *** work represents a new platform to allow the delivery of therapeutic nanoparticles and T cells to solid tumors.

The Cockcroft-Gault(CG) equation has become perhaps the most popular practical approach for estimating renal function among health care professionals. Despite its widespread use, clinicians often overlook not only the limitations of the original serum creatinine(SCr) based equation, but also may not appreciate the validity of the many variations used to compensate for these limitations. For cirrhotic patients in particular, the underlying pathophysiology of the disease contributes to a falsely low SCr, thereby overestimating renal function with use of the CG equation in this population. We reviewed the original CG trial from 1976 along with data surrounding clinician specific alterations to the CG equation that followed through time. These alterations included different formulas for body weight in obese patients and the "rounding up" approach in patients with low SCr. Additionally, we described the pathophysiology and hemodynamic changes that occur in cirrhosis; and reviewed several studies that attempted to estimate renal function in this population. The evidence we reviewed regarding the most accurate manipulation of the original CG equation to estimate creatinine clearance(Cr Cl) was inconclusive. Unfortunately, the homogeneity of the patient population in the original CG trial limited its external validity. Elimination of body weight in the CG equation actually produced the estimate closest to the measure Cr Cl. Furthermore, "rounding up" of SCr values often underestimated Cr Cl. This approach could lead to suboptimal dosing of drug therapies in patients with low SCr. In cirrhotic patients, utilization of SCr based methods overestimated true renal function by about 50% in the literature we reviewed.

AIM: To investigate the proportion of patients with moderate-severe erosive esophagitis (EE) who will have barrett's esophagus (bE) after healing of inflammation. METHODS: Patients with EE of Los Angeles (LA) class b, C and D who underwent follow-up endoscopy documenting complete mucosal healing. rESULTS: A total of 86/169 patients were suspected of having bE (38 before healing and 48 after healing of EE) and, 46/86 eventually had the histological confirmation. At index esophago-gastro-duodenoscopy (EGD), bE was suspected in 38/169 (22%), and ultimately, histologically confirmed in 20 of these. In 11 patients where biopsies were performed in the presence of inflammation, bE was detected in 2 and missed in 5 (including 2 dysplasias). In 131/169 patients (77.5%), bE was not suspected at index EGD. After healing of EE though, 48 patients had suspicion of bE who underwent biopsies, and in 26 of these histology was positive for bE. The length of inflammation had a linear correlation with the length of bE (P = 0.01). Out of multiple variables to predict bE, only the suspicion at index endoscopy was statistically significant (P = 0.01). CONCLUSION: bE was seen in 46/169 (27%) patients with EE of LA class b, C and D. The length of EE can predict the length of underlying bE *** when suspected, bE and associated dysplasia can be missed in the presence of inflammation; therefore, repeat evaluation should be considered after complete healing of esophagitis.

露天煤矿区是人类活动强扰动地区之一。该文以阿巴拉契亚煤田区韦恩县为研究区域,应用遥感时序分析法分析了像元尺度的土地损毁和复垦过程特征。得出结论:1984-2010年间,韦兹县露天开采扰动区域占采矿权范围的45.80%,其中植被恢复区域占开采范围的66.45%,开采时间越早,植被恢复像元比例越高;开采造成的地表无植被覆盖期时长中位数为6 a,均值为7 a;已充分复垦的区域,NDVI值恢复至采前水平的加权平均时长为12 a。基于像元变化轨迹的研究,除揭示土地损毁-复垦过程特征外,能较好地反映空间异质性,可以为土地复垦管理和相关政策决策提供科学依据。

目的探讨复合微量营养素补充剂对健康成人体内营养素水平的影响。方法选择北京市152名推荐食谱问卷得分低于12分的健康成年人作为研究对象，采用随机数字表法分为安慰剂组和补充剂组，每组76名。两组分别服用安慰剂和复合微量营养素补充剂。8周后检测受试者血浆及尿液中营养素浓度的变化情况。并于研究第56天同时给两组受试者服用复合微量营养素补充剂，观察服药前和服药后2 h血浆营养素水平变化。结果安慰剂组有3例失访，失访率为5.7%。服用复合微量营养素补充剂8周后，补充剂组的血浆α-生育酚［（18.23±0.82）比（14.55±0.73）μmol/L］、β-胡萝卜素［（4.28±0.29）比（2.38±0.24）μmol/L］、维生素C［（42.65±2.11）比（27.49±1.76）μmol/L］、b6［（323.51±15.88）比（69.43±10.47）nmol/L］和b12浓度［（1005.27±23.00）比（796.85±35.57）pmol/L］，尿维生素b1［（899.24±70.73）比（174.42±13.38）μg/g·Cr］和b2水平［（3227.68±330.04）比（259.10±33.33）μg/g·Cr］，及红细胞叶酸水平［（720.09±21.33）比（633.17±28.75）nmol/L］均明显高于安慰剂组（P均=0.0000），血浆γ-生育酚浓度明显低于安慰剂组［（2.18±0.13）比（2.87±0.26）μmol/L，P=0.0001］。服用复合微量营养素补充剂2 h后，补充剂组的血浆维生素C水平明显高于安慰剂组［（54.53±2.43）比（23.02±1.77）μmol/L，P=0.0000］。结论服用复合微量营养素补充剂可改变健康成人体内的营养素水平，但其意义有待进一步研究探讨。
