This paper presents a computational model for the fluid dynamics in a fractured ductile pipe under high pressure. The pressure profile in front of the crack tip, which is the driving source of crack propagation, is computed using a nonlinear wave equation. The solution is coupled with a one dimensional choked flow analysis behind the crack. The simulation utilizes a high order optimized prefactored compact-finite volume method in space, and low dispersion and dissipation runge-Kutta in time. As the pipe fractures the rapid depressurization take place inside the pipe and the propagation of the crack-induced waves strongly influences the outflow dynamics. Consistent with the experimental observation, the model predicts the expansion wave inside the pipe, and the reflection and outflow of the wave. The model also helps characterize the propagation of the crack dynamics and fluid flows around the tip of the crack.

The transport properties of several alkali fluoride high temperature ionic liquids（LiF, NaF, KF, rbF and CsF） were studied in a range of 980-1400 K and the temperature dependences of the viscosity and density were interpreted, in agreement with the classical equations characterizing the viscous flow（Arrhenius, Batchinski, Eyring and Frenkel）. The experimental results reveal the validity of these equations even at high temperatures, suggesting that no significant structural changes of alkali fluorides occurred in the studied temperature range. Our results clearly demonstrate that the mentioned thermo-physical properties can be used as powerful tools in the further investigations of the ionic interactions governing the alkali fluoride molten salts.

Most whole slide imaging(WSI)systems today rely on the"stop-and-stare"approach,where,at each field of view,the scanning stage is brought to a complete stop before the camera snaps a *** procedure ensures that each image is free of motion blur,which comes at the expense of long acquisition *** order to speed up the acquisition process,especially for large scanning areas,such as pathology slides,we developed an acquisition method in which the data is acquired continuously while the stage is moving at high *** generative adversarial networks(GANs),we demonstrate this ultra-fast imaging approach,referred to as GANscan,which restores sharp images from motion blurred *** allows us to complete image acquisitions at 30x the throughput of stop-and-stare *** method is implemented on a Zeiss Axio Observer Z1 microscope,requires no specialized hardware,and accomplishes successful reconstructions at stage speeds of up to 5000 μm/*** validate the proposed method by imaging H&E stained tissue *** method not only retrieves crisp images from fast,continuous scans,but also adjusts for defocusing that occurs during scanning within+/-5 μ*** a consumer GPU,the inference runs at<20 ms/image.

This study deals with SnO2-based ceramic anodes doped with Sb203 and CuO, aiming at contributing new data regarding their electrochemical behavior in cryolite melts. The performances of the anodes were evaluated by anodic polarization, cyclic voltammetry, and current efficiency and corrosion measurements. The investigation proves that the anodic process of SnO2-based inert anodes occurs at a low overvoltage and the oxygen discharge takes place in one step with an exchange of two electrons. The current efficiency and corrosion were proved to be dependent on the electrolysis parameters and composition of electrolysis bath. For a long term electrolysis, the dissolution of the anode in the cryolite-alumina melt produced small aluminium contamination（ca. 0.2%, mass fraction）.

This work continued our general research program on obtaining metallic cerium by electrodeposition from NaCeF4 dis-solved in different molten fluorides. The structure of NaCeF4 （cubic or hexagonal depending on the way of preparation） was estab-lished by DTA analysis, Ir spectra and X-ray diffraction. The heat capacity （Cp） of NaCeF4 was measured by differential scanning calorimetry in the temperature range of 300-1093 K using the“step-method”. The Cp was fitted by an equation with a satisfactory re-sult. Heat capacity was compared with that calculated from the Neumann-Kopp rule （NKr） and the deviations observed were consis-tent with the stability of the NaCeF4 compound.

A systematic study was conducted on current efficiency （CE）, corrosion and structural changes in SnO2-based inert anodes （made of 96wt%SnO2＋2wt%Sb2O3＋2wt%CuO） on a laboratory Hall-Heroult aluminium cell. The influence of operating parameters and electrolyte composition on the CE and corrosion process were evaluated. The CE was found to be more than 90% and catastrophic corrosion took place at low percent of Al2O3, high percent of LiF, low cryolite ratio and high current densities. From all the structural changes that took place in the SnO2-based inert anodes, we assumed that the most important contribution was due to the migration of CuO towards the outer limits of the constituent grains of SnO2 based ceramic. The complex process occurred during the formation of various phases and their sintering ability both directly depended on Cu/Sb molar ratio.
