the joint European Space Agency and Chinese Academy of Sciences Solar wind magnetosphere Ionosphere link Explorer(SMIlE)mission will explore global dynamics of the magnetosphere under varying solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field conditions,and simultaneously monitor the auroral response of the Northern Hemisphere *** these large-scale responses with medium and fine-scale measurements at a variety of cadences by additional ground-based and space-based instruments will enable a much greater scientific impact beyond the original goals of the SMIlE ***,we describe current community efforts to prepare for SMIlE,and the benefits and context various experiments that have explicitly expressed support for SMIlE can offer.A dedicated group of international scientists representing many different experiment types and geographical locations,the Ground-based and Additional Science Working Group,is facilitating these *** include constructing an online SMIlE Data Fusion Facility,the discussion of particular or special modes for experiments such as coherent and incoherent scatter radar,and the consideration of particular observing strategies and spacecraft *** anticipate growing interest and community engagement with the SMIlE mission,and we welcome novel ideas and insights from the solar-terrestrial community.

Cost-Sensitive Dual-Stream residual Networks for Imbalanced Classification

Imbalanced data classification is the task of classifying datasets where there is a significant disparity in the number of samples between different *** task is prevalent in practical scenarios such as industrial fault diagnosis,network intrusion detection,cancer detection,*** imbalanced classification tasks,the focus is typically on achieving high recognition accuracy for the minority ***,due to the challenges presented by imbalanced multi-class datasets,such as the scarcity of samples in minority classes and complex inter-class relationships with overlapping boundaries,existing methods often do not perform well in multi-class imbalanced data classification tasks,particularly in terms of recognizing minority classes with high ***,this paper proposes a multi-class imbalanced data classification method called CSDSresNet,which is based on a cost-sensitive dualstream residual ***,to address the issue of limited samples in the minority class within imbalanced datasets,a dual-stream residual network backbone structure is designed to enhance the model’s feature extraction ***,considering the complexities arising fromimbalanced inter-class sample quantities and imbalanced inter-class overlapping boundaries in multi-class imbalanced datasets,a unique cost-sensitive loss function is *** loss function places more emphasis on the minority class and the challenging classes with high interclass similarity,thereby improving the model’s classification ***,the effectiveness and generalization of the proposed method,CSDSresNet,are evaluated on two datasets:‘DryBeans’and‘Electric Motor Defects’.the experimental results demonstrate that CSDSresNet achieves the best performance on imbalanced datasets,with macro_F1-score values improving by 2.9%and 1.9%on the two datasets compared to current state-of-the-art classification methods,***,it achieves the highest precision in single-class r

the aim of this work is to investigate anisotropic compact objects within the framework of f(G)modified theory of *** our present work,we utilize Krori-Barua metrics,i.e.,λ(r)=Xr^(2)+Y andβ(r)=zr^(2).We use some matching conditions of spherically symmetric spacetime with Bardeen's model as an exterior ***,we establish some expressions of energy density and pressure components to analyze the stellar configuration of Bardeen compact stars by assuming viable f(G)*** examine the energy conditions for different stellar structures to verify the viability of our considered ***,we also investigate some other physical features,such as equilibrium condition,equation of state parameters,adiabatic index,stability analysis,mass function,surface redshift,and compactness factor,*** is worthwhile to mention here for the current study that our stellar structure in the background of Bardeen's model is more viable and stable.

the dynamic regulation of circularly polarized luminescence(Cpl)holds profound significance in various fields,such as highlevel information storage and *** we developed a chiral amphiphilic molecule,CpSB-GlU-pEG350(CGp),composed of aggregation-induced emission(AIE)chromophores(z)-4-(1-cyano-2-phenylvinyl)benzoic acid(CpSB),a chiral linker Glutamic acid and polyethylene glycol(pEG)thermoresponsive *** the self-assembled supramolecular system formed by CGp,we have achieved in-situ temperature-responsive chiral structures,facilitating the thermal control switch of the Cpl *** dynamics simulations demonstrate the distinct behaviors of AIE and pEG units during the temperature-variable assembly ***,by co-assembling achiral dye molecules with CGp,we have expanded the color range of the temperature-responsive Cpl assembly system in situ and confirmed the occurrence of circularly polarizedF?rster resonance energy transfer(C-FrEt)phenomenon in this process,which successfully enriched the strategies for in-situ Cpl control in aqueous *** addition,the contactless radiative energy transfer of Cpl can also be realized in this system,exhibiting more flexible temperature regulation of the Cpl *** study provides a convenient and universal strategy for the construction of dynamically smart chiroptical materials.

Asymmetrical Fault Current Calculation Method and Influencing Factors Analysis of Droop-Controlled Inverters

Since the fault dynamic of droop-controlled inverter is different from synchronous generators (SGs), protection devices may become invalid, and the fault overcurrent may damage power electronic devices and threaten the safety of the microgrid. therefore, it is imperative to conduct a comprehensive fault analysis of the inverter to guide the design of protection schemes. However, due to the complexity of droop control strategy, existing literatures have simplified asymmetric fault analysis of droop-controlled inverters to varying degrees. therefore, accurate fault analysis of a droop-controlled inverter is needed. In this paper, by analyzing the control system, an accurate fault model is established. Based on this, a calculation method for instantaneous asymmetrical fault current is proposed. In addition, the current components and current characteristics are analyzed. It was determined that fault currents are affected by control loops, fault types, fault distance and nonlinear limiters. In particular, the influences of limiters on the fault model, fault current calculation and fault current characteristics were analyzed. through detailed analysis, it was found that dynamics of the control loop cannot be ignored, the fault type and fault distance determine fault current level, and part of the limiters will totally change the fault current trend. Finally, calculation and experimental results verify the correctness of the proposed method.

Creep damage constitutive model of rock based on the mechanisms of crack-initiated damage and extended damage

Since the classical element model cannot describe the nonlinear characteristics of rock during the entire compressive creep process,nonlinear elements and creep damage are generally introduced in the model to resolve this ***,several previous studies have reckoned that creep damage in rock only occurs in the accelerated creep stage and is only described by the Weibull ***,the creep damage mechanism of rocks is still not clearly *** this study,a reasonable representation of the damage variables of solid materials is ***,based on the Gurson damage model,the damage state functions reflecting the constant creep stage and accelerated creep stage of rock are ***,the one-dimensional and three-dimensional creep damage constitutive equations of rock are derived by modifying the Nishihara ***,the creep-acoustic emission tests of phyllite under different confining pressures are conducted to examine the creep damage characteristics of *** the proposed constitutive model is verified by analyzing the results of creep tests performed on saturated ***,this study reveals the relationship between the creep characteristics of rocks and the corresponding damage evolution pattern,which bridges the gap between the traditional theory and the quantitative analysis of rock creep and its damage pattern.

Experimental investigation of dynamic characteristics of leaching tubing for solution mining of salt cavern carbon and energy storage

Salt caverns are extensively utilized for storing various substances such as fossil energy, hydrogen,compressed air, nuclear waste, and industrial solid waste. In China, when the salt cavern is leached through single-well water solution mining with oil as a cushion, engineering challenges arise with the leaching tubing, leading to issues like damage and instability. these problems significantly hinder the progress of cavern construction and the control of cavern shape. the primary cause of this is the flowinduced vibration instability of leaching tubing within a confined space, which results in severe bending or damage to the tubing. this study presents a model experimental investigation on the dynamic characteristics of leaching tubing using a self-developed liquid-solid coupling physical model experiment apparatus. the experiment utilizes a silicone-rubber pipe(Srp) and a polycarbonate pipe(pCp) to examine the effects of various factors on the dynamic stability of cantilevered pipes conveying fluid. these factors include external space constraint, flexural rigidity, medium outside the pipe, overhanging length, and end conditions. the experiments reveal four dynamic response phenomena: water hammer, static buckling, chaotic motion, and flutter instability. the study further demonstrates that the length of the external space constraint has a direct impact on the flutter critical flow velocity of the cantilevered pipe conveying fluid. Additionally, the flutter critical flow velocity is influenced by the end conditions and different external media.

Exploring Variability in Sea level at a tide Gauge Station through Control Charts

Monitoring temporal changes in sea level is important in assessing coastal *** level anomalies at a tide gauge station,if kinematically conceived,include systematic variations such as trend,acceleration,periodic oscillations,and random *** them,the non-stationary nature of the random sea level variations of known or unknown origin at coastal regions has been long recognized by the sea level *** study proposes the analyses of subgroups of random residual statistics of a rigorously formulated kinematic model solution of tide gauge variations using X-bar and S control *** approach is demonstrated using Key West,Florida tide gauge *** mean and standard errors of 5-year-long subgroups of the residuals revealed that sea level changes at this location have been progressively intensifying from 1913 to the *** oscillations in sea level at this locality may be attributed partly to the thermal expansion of seawater with increasing temperatures causing larger buoyancy-related sea level fluctuations as well as the intensification of atmospheric events including wind patterns and the impact of changes in inverted barometer effects that will alter coastal risk assessments for the future.

Cr-induced fusion reactions to synthesize superheavy elements

We investigated ^(50,52-54)Cr-induced fusion reactions for the synthesis of the superheavy element in the 104≤z≤122 *** cross sections produced in this investigation using ^(54)Cr projectiles were compared with those obtained in prior *** estimated cross sections from this analysis are consistent with the findings of prior *** the current study,the predicted cross section was found to be 42fb at 236 MeV for ^(53)Cr+^(243)Am,23.2 fb at 236 MeV for ^(54)Cr+^(247)Cm,95.6 fb at 240 MeV for ^(53)Cr+248Bk,and 1.33 fb at 242 MeV for ^(53)Cr+***,these projected cross sections with excitation energy and beam energy will be useful in future Cr-induced fusion reaction investigations.
