Historically,psychiatric diagnoses have been made based on patient’s reported symptoms applying the criteria from diagnostic and statistical manual of mental *** utilization of neuroimaging or biomarkers to make the diagnosis and manage psychiatric disorders remains a distant *** have been several studies that examine brain imaging in psychiatric disorders,but more work is needed to elucidate the complexities of the human *** this editorial,we examine two articles by Xu et al and Stoyanov et al,that show developments in the direction of using neuroimaging to examine the brains of people with schizo-phrenia and *** et al used magnetic resonance imaging to examine the brain structure of patients with schizophrenia,in addition to examining neurotransmitter levels as *** et al used functional magnetic resonance imaging to look at modulation of different neural circuits by diagnostic-specific scales in patients with schizophrenia and *** two studies provide crucial evidence in advancing our understanding of the brain in prevalent psychiatric disorders.

We investigate the Einstein field equations corresponding to the Weyl-Lewis-Papapetrou form for an axisymmetric rotating field by using the classical symmetry method. Using the invafiance group properties of the governing system of partial differential equations （PDEs） and admitting a Lie group of point transformations with commuting infinitesimal generators, we obtain exact solutions to the system of PDEs describing the Einstein field equations. Some appropriate canonical variables are characterized that transform the equations at hand to an equivalent system of ordinary differential equations and some physically important analytic solutions of field equations are constructed. Also, the class of axially symmetric solutions of Einstein field equations including the Papapetrou solution as a particular case has been found.

Of the various strategies adopted by an invasive plant species for expanding its niche breadth,phenotypic differentiation(either due to plasticity and/or adaptive evolution) is proven to be the most ***,we studied the persistence of substantial morpho-functional variations within the individuals of alien invasive plant,Parthenium hysterophorus in Chandigarh,India,through field *** on observed differences,the individuals were categorized into two morphotypes,PAand *** higher leaf area,leaf biomass,and chlorophyll content as compared with ***,PBhad a higher stem circumference,stem specific density,twig dry matter content,profuse branching,bigger canopy,and better reproductive output than *** substantiate the persistence of intraspecific variations in P. hysterophorus and to deduce the possible genesis of these variations,we propagated both the morphotypes under experimental conditions in winter and *** from the key morpho-functional differences observed during the field studies,protein and carbohydrate metabolism were studied in leaves and roots of the propagated *** in plant metabolism were observed only during the early growth period,whereas the morpho-functional traits varied in the mature flowering *** effect of growth season was highly significant on all the studied morpho-functional and biochemical parameters(p ≤0.05).Parent morphotypes(P) and interactions between morphotypes and seasons significantly affected several growth parameters(p ≤0.05).The analyses revealed that the contrasting growth conditions at the time of transplantation and early growth may regulate the phenotype of P. *** pattern of intraspecific variations observed during the study is justified to consider morphotype PAas winter biotype and morphotype PBas summer biotype of P. *** study points towards the role of plasticity or a combination of genetic and environmental(G×E) factors in producing the p

Ultimate fate of halosulfuron methyl and its effects on enzymatic and microbial activities in three differently textured soils

Halosulfuron methyl is a sulfonylurea herbicide used worldwide for weed control in sugarcane, maize, wheat, and rice production. Considering its environmental impact, this study evaluated the effects of soil type, application rate, and temperature on the dynamics of halosulfuron methyl ***, as soil microbes and enzymes are reliable indicators of the impacts of anthropogenic activities on soil health, the effects of halosulfuron methyl on soil enzymatic and microbial activities were also assessed. The half-life(DT50) of halosulfuron methyl varied from 9.38 to 33.77 d. Increase in temperature accelerated the degradation and DT50 varied from 14.39 to 33.77, 11.05 to 28.94, and 9.38 to 25.41 d at 5, 15, and 25?C, respectively. The metabolites of halosulfuron methyl, including halosulfuron, methyl 3-chloro-5-((4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl) amino)-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate,4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinamine, and methyl 3-chloro-1-methyl-5-sulfamoyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate, were detected in the studied soils, and their appearance and disappearance varied with application rate, soil type, and incubation temperature. Halosulfuron methyl had transitory harmful effects on soil enzymatic and microbial activities depending on its application rate. The results suggest that the application rate of halosulfuron methyl, soil physicochemical parameters, and temperature should be considered together to ensure satisfactory weed control with reduced environmental risk.

Effect of Ni^(7+) Ion Irradiation on Structure and Ammonia Sensing Properties of Thermally Oxidized Zinc and Indium Films

ZnO and In203 films were prepared by thermal oxidation of vacuum deposited zinc and indium films, respec- tively onto the glass substrate at 30 ℃. The fabricated films have been irradiated with 100-MeV Ni7＋ ions at different fluences ranging from 5×1011 to 5×1013 ions/cm2. The structural and gas sensing properties of pristine and irradiated films have been discussed. X-ray diffraction （XrD） pattern of pristine and irradiated films reveal that the films are polycrystalline in nature and crystallinity increases after irradiation. In this study, highly porous In203 nanorods evolved when being irradiated at a fluence of 5×1013 ions/cm2 while ZnO film shows decrease in number of nanowires. The ammonia sensing performance of the Ni^7＋ irradiated In203 films shows an improvement as compared to its pristine counterpart.

The ubiquitous Internet of Things (IoT) through rFIDs, GPS, NFC and otherwireless devices is capable of sensing the activities being carried around Industrialenvironment so as to automate industrial processes. In almost every industry, employeeperformance appraisal is done manually which may lead to favoritisms. This paperproposes a framework to perform automatic employee performance appraisal based ondata sensed from IoT. The framework classifies raw IoT data into three activities (Positive,Negative, Neutral), co-locates employee and activity in order to calculate employeeimplication and then performs cognitive decision making using fuzzy logic. From theexperiments carried out it is observed that automatic system has improved performance ofemployees. Also, the impact of the proposed system leads to motivation among *** simulation results show how fuzzy approach can be exploited to reward or penalizeemployees based on their performance.

Thin films of CdSe and silver(Ag)-doped CdSe have been prepared on glass substrates by thermal evaporation in argon gas atmosphere. X-ray diffraction pattern indicates the presence of hexagonal structure with preferred orientation along (100) plane. Elemental composition of the thin films has been analyzed using energy dispersive X-ray analysis. Scanning electron microscopy has been used to investigate the morphology of the thin films. Transmission electron microscope reveals spherical nature of nanoparticles. A decrease in the band gap due to the formation of band tails in the band gap with increase in Ag doping in CdSe lattice has been observed. Photoluminescence spectra indicate redshift in band edge emission peak with increase in Ag doping in CdSe. Electrical conductivity measurements are also studied, and two types of conduction mechanisms taking part in the transport phenomena are observed. Hall measurements indicate n-type behavior of undoped and Ag-doped CdSe thin films.

Bispyribac-sodium is a weakly acidic herbicide with high water solubility and is thus a potential source of groundwater *** the risk inherent to the use of this herbicide,this study assessed the impacts of rice straw(rS)and biochar amendments on the adsorption and leaching behavior of bispyribac-sodium in *** were produced from rS at different pyrolysis temperatures and characterized using various spectral *** straw had a surface area of 3.996×10^(4)m^(2)kg^(-1),which increased under pyrolysis;biochars prepared at 350 and 550℃(rS350 and rS550)in a closed furnace with limited oxygen supply had a surface area of 5.763×10^(4)and 6.890×10^(4)m^(2)kg^(-1),respectively,and biochar prepared by purging the pyroformer with N2(rSC)had the highest surface area of 12.173×10^(4)m^(2)kg^(-1).After amendment with rS and biochar,soil Freundlich adsorption capacity(KF ads)increased to varying extents in the order rSC>rS350>rS550,from 2.89×10^(3)to 29.57×10^(3)mg^(1-1)/nkg^(-1)L1/n,compared to1.55×10^(3)mg^(1-1)/nkg^(-1)L1/nin unamended *** variability in KF ads of bispyribac-sodium amongst the rS-and biochar-amended soils was dependent on the surface area of the *** desorption of bispyribac-sodium decreased in the rS-and biochar-amended soils and varied from90.45%to 95.20%in unamended soils and from 60.95%to 89.50%in amended *** adsorption and desorption of bispyribac-sodium varied significantly depending on its concentration and the type and application rate of soil *** leaching risk evaluation indices,viz.,modified leach index(***),leach index(LEACH),groundwater ubiquity score(GUS),Hornsby index(HI),leaching index(LIN),and pesticide leaching potential(PLP)index,were used to assess the susceptibility of groundwater to herbicide *** reduce the repetitive effects of common parameters in each index,a new index was developed by employing principal component analysis(PCA)to condense their infor

The two-body weak decays B→πD/B→ρD and B→πD are examined using isospin analysis to study nonfactorizable *** determining strong interaction phases and obtaining factorizable contributions from spectator-quark diagrams for Nc=3,we determine nonfactorizable isospin amplitudes from the experimental data for these *** results support the universality of the ratio of nonfactorizable isospin reduced amplitudes for these decays within experimental *** demonstrate that these systematics are not coincidental,we also plot our results *** ratio.
