The ductile to brittle transition temperature (DBTT) of the modified 9Cr-1Mo steel and its laser welds was studied. The increase in grain size of the weld structure ascended the DBTT of the steel significantly. The transformation of retained austenite at martensite interlath boundaries into untempered and/or twinned martensite could also contribute to increased DBTTs of the steel and its welds tempered at 540℃.

由于Ag和In都是重要的Sn-Zn基焊料的降熔剂,试验研究了一系列添加不同含量Ag和In的Sn-Zn基焊料。试验分析了焊料合金的熔融行为、润湿现象、热膨胀系数、微观组织演化和Sn-Zn基无铅焊料钎焊Au/Ni-P金属化铜基体的长期可靠性。试验得出如下结论,添加较少的Ag对Sn-Zn基焊料合金的熔融范围几乎没有改变。相反,添加In,Sn-Zn基合金的熔点则会明显下降。但是,液固相线温度差却随着Sn-Zn基焊料中In的增加而增大。在所有的合金中,76Sn-9Zn-15In液相线温度最低,且它可以有效地结合Au/Ni-P金属化铜基体。76Sn-9Zn-15In合金在钎焊温度200℃,焊接时间20分钟后,其微观组织主要由Sn-Inγ相和针状ZnO相组成。虽然钎焊时没有使用焊剂,但即使在低于2×10mbar的真空环境下试验锌氧化物也是不可避免的。而且,钎焊之后76Sn-9Zn-15In和Au/Ni-P金属化铜基体之间没有界面反应层。但钎焊试件经90℃时效168小时后,在76Sn-9Zn-15In和基体之间却存在反应层。其化学成分与含较少Sn、In、Cu和P的富Znγ相似。试件经90℃时效336小时后,在焊料和化学镀Ni-P层间的界面处出现裂缝。富锌γ相界面上的氧化物对削弱76Sn-9Zn-15Zn焊料和Au/Ni-P金属化铜基体间结合的可靠性有重要的影响。

The transmission electron microscopy was employed to investigate the microstructure of infrared brazed high-strength Ti alloy using the Ti-15Cu-15Ni filler metal. Coarse primary Ti 2 Ni and transformed β-Ti are observed in the 300 s brazed specimen. Blocky Ti 2 Ni and eutectoid Ti 2 Cu intermetallics are disappeared from the joint with increasing the brazing time to 1800 s. Both acicular α-Ti and retained β-Ti dominate the entire brazed joint.

BACkGrOUND Candida esophagitis(CE) is among the commonest esophageal infections and is known as an opportunistic fungal infection mostly affecting people living with the human immunodeficiency virus(HIV).However,some medical conditions might predispose HIV-negative individuals to esophageal candidiasis.The epidemiology and associated endoscopic findings of CE among people without HIV have rarely been reported.AIM To investigate the prevalence of CE among HIV-negative persons,and determine risk factors predicting CE.METHODS Between January 2015 and December 2018,all consecutive outpatients who underwent routine esophagogastroduodenoscopy as part of health check-ups at their own expense at the Health Check-up Center of the kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital,Taiwan,were recruited in this study.Those with positive HIV serology results were excluded.Sociodemographic and clinical characteristics including age,gender,economic status,smoking history,alcohol consumption,tea and coffee consumption,underlying diseases,body fat percentage,body mass index,endoscopic findings,and Helicobacter pylori infection status were carefully reviewed.CE was confirmed by endoscopic biopsy and pathological assessment with hematoxylin and eosin and periodic acidSchiff staining.To evaluate independent factors predicting the development of CE,we conducted a univariate analysis of clinical characteristics.The variables found to be significant via univariate analysis were subsequently included in a multivariable analysis of potential risk factors for CE development.rESULTS A total of 11802 participants were included in this study.Forty-seven(0.4%) were confirmed as having CE by pathological examination.Univariate analysis identified older age,the presence of chronic kidney disease,alcohol consumption,and steroid use(P = 0.023,respectively) as significantly associated with CE.Multivariable analysis revealed older age [adjusted odds ratio(Or) = 1.027;95%CI:1.001-1.053;P = 0.045],chronic kidney disease(adjusted Or = 13.470

Ag-based brazing foils, BAg-8 （72Ag-28Cu in wt%） and Ticusil （68.8Ag-26.7Cu-4.5Ti in wt%） were selected to braze Zr. Interfacial AgCu4Zr, CuZr2 reaction layers and Ag-rich matrix dominate BAg-8 brazed joint, and fractograph after shear test shows ductile dimple fracture with plastic sliding marks. Ticusil joint brazed at 910℃ for 300 s is comprised of CugZr11 and AgZr intermetallics, and fractograph after shear test displays brittle cleavage fracture.

We consider the congruence x1＋ x2 ＋… ＋ xr - c （mod m）, wherem and r are positive integers and c ∈Zm ：= {0, 1, ..., m- 1} （m ≥ 2）. recently,W.-S. thou, T. X. He,and Peter J.-S. shiue considered the enumerationproblems of this congruence, namely, the number of solutions with the restriction x1≤~ x2≤ ... ≤ xr, and got some properties and a neat formula ofthe solutions. Due to the lack of a simple computational method for calculating the number of the solution of the congruence, we provide an algebraic and a recursive algorithms for those numbers. The former one can also give a new and simple approach to derive some properties of solution numbers.

BACkGrOUND No prognostic models specific to hepatocellular carcinoma patients receiving surgical resection have been considered strong and convincing enough for survival prediction thus far,and there are no models including only preoperative predictors.We derived a nomogram to predict disease-free survival in a previous study.AIM To simplify our score and compare research outcomes among other scoring systems.METHODS We retrospectively reviewed data from 1106 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma who underwent liver resection at the Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital between April 2003 and December 2012.Multivariate analyses were conducted to identify the significant survival predictors.Homogeneity,Harrell’s C-index,and Akaike information criterion were compared between our score,AJCC 8^(th)edition,Tokyo score,and Taipei Integrated Scoring System(TTV-CTPAFP model).rESULTS Among the 1106 patients,731(66.1%)had tumor recurrence at a median followup of 83.9 mo.Five risk factors were identified:platelet count,albumin level,indocyanine green retention rate,multiplicity,and radiologic total tumor volume.Patients were divided into three risk groups,and the 5-year survival rates were 61.7%,39%,and 25.7%,respectively.The C-index was 0.617,which was higher than the Tokyo score(0.613)and the Taipei Integrated Scoring System(0.562)and equal to the value of the AJCC 8th edition(0.617).CONCLUSION The modified score provides an easier method to predict survival.Appropriate treatment can be planned preoperatively by dividing patients into risk groups.

Objective: This study evaluated the effectiveness of acupuncture treatment on postoperative pain in patients with degenerative lumbar spine disease, and explored the relationship between the postoperative analgesic effect of acupuncture and the sensation of acupuncture experienced by the patients.Methods: This retrospective study analyzed the medical records of 97 patients who had undergone an operation by the same surgeon due to degenerative lumbar disease. These patients were divided into acupuncture group(n = 32), patient-controlled analgesia(PCA) group(n = 27), and oral analgesia group(n = 38) according to the different postoperative analgesic methods. During their hospitalization, patients completed daily evaluations of their pain using a visual analogue scale(VAS), and injection times of supplemental meperidine were recorded. Also, the Chinese version of the Massachusetts General Hospital Acupuncture Sensation Scale(C-MASS) was used in the acupuncture group.results: Each of the three treatment groups showed significant reductions in postoperative pain, as shown by reduced VAS scores. The acupuncture group, however, had less rebound pain(P r two groups. Both the acupuncture and PCA groups experienced acute analgesic effects that were superior to those in the oral analgesia group. In addition, the higher the C-MASS index on the second day after surgery, the lower the VAS score on the fourth day after surgery. There was also a significant difference in the“dull pain” in the acupuncture sensation.Conclusion: The results demonstrated that acupuncture was beneficial for postoperative pain and discomfort after simple surgery for degenerative spinal disease. It is worth noting that there was a disproportionate relevance between the patient’s acupuncture sensation and the improvement of pain VAS score.
