Analysis of the Impact of the Blazhko Effect Both on the Van Hoof Effect and radial Velocity Amplitude in the Star rr Lyr

The Van Hoof effect is a phase shift existing between the radial velocity curves of hydrogen and metallic lines within the atmosphere of pulsating *** this article,we present a study of this phenomenon through the spectra of the brightest pulsating star rr Lyr of rr Lyrae stars recorded for 22 *** based ourselves,on the one hand,on 1268 spectra(41 nights of observation)recorded between the years 1994 and 1997 at the Observatory of Haute Provence(OHP,France)previously observed by Chadid and Gillet,and on the other hand on 1569 spectra(46nights of observation)recorded at our Oukaimeden Observatory(Morocco)between 2015 and *** this study,we have detected information on atmospheric dynamics that had not previously been ***,the Van Hoof effect which results in a clear correlation between the radial velocities of hydrogen and those of the metallic lines has been observed and analyzed at different Blazhko phases.A correlation between the radial velocities of different metallic lines located in the lower atmosphere has been observed as *** the first time,we were able to show that the amplitude of the radial velocity curves deduced from the lines of hydrogen and that of FeⅡ(λ4923.921?)increases toward the minimum of the Blazhko cycle and decreases toward the maximum of the same Blazhko ***,we found that the Van Hoof effect is also modulated by the Blazhko ***,toward the minimum of the Blazhko cycle the Van Hoof effect is more visible and at the maximum of the Blazhko cycle,this effect is *** also observed the temporal evolution of the amplitudes of the radial velocities of the lower and upper *** observed over a long time,we can interpret it as a function of the Blazhko phases.

Advances in discovery of novel investigational agents for functional cure of chronic hepatitis B:A comprehensive review of phases II and III therapeutic agents

Chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection affects over 295 million people globally and an estimated 1.6 million people in the United *** is associated with significant morbidity and mortality due to cirrhosis,liver failure,and liver *** therapy with oral nucleos(t)ide analogues is associated with high rates of virologic suppression,which in turn has been associated with a decreased risk of liver ***,current antiviral regimens are limited by concerns with adverse effects,adherence,resistance,long-term treatment,and ongoing risk for liver *** investigational agents are currently in development and are targeted at achieving functional cure with sustained hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg)loss and suppression of HBV *** we review key evidence from phases II and III trials defining the efficacy and safety profiles for key investigational agents for functional cure of chronic hepatitis B,including core/capsid inhibitors,entry inhibitors,rNA interference(sirNA/ASO),HBsAg inhibitors,Toll-like receptor agonists,checkpoint inhibitors,and therapeutic vaccines.

Due to the dynamic nature and node mobility,assuring the security of Mobile Ad-hoc Networks(MANET)is one of the difficult and challenging tasks *** MANET,the Intrusion Detection System(IDS)is crucial because it aids in the identification and detection of malicious attacks that impair the network’s regular *** machine learning and deep learning methodologies are used for this purpose in the conventional works to ensure increased security of ***,it still has significant flaws,including increased algorithmic complexity,lower system performance,and a higher rate of ***,the goal of this paper is to create an intelligent IDS framework for significantly enhancing MANET security through the use of deep learning ***,the min-max normalization model is applied to preprocess the given cyber-attack datasets for normalizing the attributes or fields,which increases the overall intrusion detection performance of ***,a novel Adaptive Marine Predator Optimization Algorithm(AOMA)is implemented to choose the optimal features for improving the speed and intrusion detection performance of ***,the Deep Supervise Learning Classification(DSLC)mechanism is utilized to predict and categorize the type of intrusion based on proper learning and training *** evaluation,the performance and results of the proposed AOMA-DSLC based IDS methodology is validated and compared using various performance measures and benchmarking datasets.

Urban heritage is a vital resource that connects communities to their local *** developments and rapid urbanisation often harm the authenticity of historic areas,disrupting the cultural fabric and altering their *** study introduces the relative Positive Impact Index(rPll),a novel technique for assessing the socio-cultural impacts of urban *** significance of rPII lies in its ability to quantitatively evaluate the impacts on the cultural fabric and integrity of historic urban areas,which is crucial for sustainable urban *** study's objective is to apply rPII in evaluating qualitative socio-cultural characteristics in historic urban areas,with a focus on four main criteria and 16 sub-criteria,in the case of the kuttichira *** methodology integrates the analysis of published literature,a quantitative survey mapping the stakeholders'perception,and qualitative *** approach facilitates an in-depth understanding of how urban revitalisation affects local socio-cultural dynamics,preserving the authenticity and character of historic *** study reveals that the revitalisation project in kuttichira positively impacts the socio-cultural fabric of the area,maintaining cultural integrity and addressing social *** findings offer valuable insights for sustainable urban development and policymaking in historic *** study recommends the application of rPll in other urban precincts for comparative analysis and further development of urban development practices,contributing to informed urban policy and planning decisions.

The term hepatolithiasis describes the presence of biliary stones within the intrahepatic bile ducts,above the hilar confluence of the hepatic *** disease is more prevalent in Asia,mainly owing to socioeconomic and dietary factors,as well as the prevalence of biliary *** the last century,owing to migration,its global incidence has *** main pathophysiological mechanisms involve cholangitis,bile infection and biliary strictures,creating a self-sustaining cycle that perpetuates the disease,frequently characterised by recurrent episodes of bacterial infection referred to as syndrome of“recurrent pyogenic cholangitis”.Furthermore,long-standing hepatolithiasis is a known risk factor for development of intrahepatic *** classifications have aimed at providing useful insight of clinically relevant aspects and guidance for *** management of symptomatic patients and those with complications can be complex,and relies upon a multidisciplinary team of hepatologists,endoscopists,interventional radiologists and hepatobiliary surgeons,with the main goal being to offer relief from the clinical presentations and prevent the development of more serious *** comprehensive review provides insight on various aspects of hepatolithiasis,with a focus on epidemiology,new evidence on pathophysiology,most important clinical aspects,different classification systems and contemporary management.

Chaotic Aquila Optimization Algorithm for Solving Phase Equilibrium Problems and Parameter Estimation of Semi-empirical Models

This research study aims to enhance the optimization performance of a newly emerged Aquila Optimization algorithm by incorporating chaotic sequences rather than using uniformly generated Gaussian random *** work employs 25 different chaotic maps under the framework of Aquila *** considers the ten best chaotic variants for performance evaluation on multidimensional test functions composed of unimodal and multimodal problems,which have yet to be studied in past literature *** was found that Ikeda chaotic map enhanced Aquila Optimization algorithm yields the best predictions and becomes the leading method in most of the *** test the effectivity of this chaotic variant on real-world optimization problems,it is employed on two constrained engineering design problems,and its effectiveness has been ***,phase equilibrium and semi-empirical parameter estimation problems have been solved by the proposed method,and respective solutions have been compared with those obtained from state-of-art *** is observed that CH01 can successfully cope with the restrictive nonlinearities and nonconvexities of parameter estimation and phase equilibrium problems,showing the capabilities of yielding minimum prediction error values of no more than 0.05 compared to the remaining algorithms utilized in the performance benchmarking process.

CCr5A32 mutation does not influence the susceptibility to HCV infection, severity of liver disease and response to therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis C

AIM： To study whether CCr5△32 mutation was associated with viral infection and severity of liver disease. METHODS： Two hundred and fifty two histologically proven, chronic HCV patients （mean age： 41±14 years; M/F： 164/88） were genotyped. PCr based genotyping of 32 bp deletion at the CCr5 locus was done. Fourhundred and eight matched healthy controls were studied to assess susceptibility to HCV infection. To assess correlation of immune gene polymorphism with severity of HCV related liver disease, patients with chronic HCV infection were divided into those with a fibrosis score of ≤ 2 （mild） or 〉 2 （severe） and histological activity index （HAI） of ≤ 5 or 〉 5. For correlation between CCr5△32 mutations and response to therapy, 129 patients who completed therapy were evaluated. rESULTS： The majority （89.4%） of the patients were infected with genotype 3. The frequency of homozygous CCr5△32 mutants was comparable to HCV patients as compared to the healthy controls （0.7% vs 0%, P = 0.1）. Further more, the frequency of CCr5△32 mutation was comparable in patients with mild or severe liver disease.（P = NS）. There was also no association observed with response to therapy and CCr5△32 mutation. CONCLUSION： CCr5△32 mutation does not have a role in disease susceptibility, severity or response to therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis C infection.

Tuning the optoelectronic properties for small organic compounds as organic solar cell applications

recently, organic solar cells have attracted the attention of many researchers owing to flexibility, low cost, light weight and large-area applications, and significant improvement in the power conversion efficiency（PCE）. In this work, we designed chains from organic compounds as donors and replaced the core unit in each series with a variety of acceptors in order to enhance their optical and electronic characterization and performance for power conversion efficiencies in organic solar cells. We utilized density functional theory（DFT） and time-dependent density functional theory（TD-DFT） to investigate the geometry optimization by using the Gaussian 09 program. Both electronic and optical properties were determined, which involve the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital（LUMO） and the highest occupied molecular orbital（HOMO） levels, the band gap energy, maximum absorption wavelength(λ;max;), open circuit voltage(V;oc;), and light harvesting efficiency（LHE）. Our evaluation denotes that the small compounds suggested are predicted to exhibit the best performance compared to the first series（SC1）, like a lower band gap energy, a lower HOMO energy level, a greater absorption range, and a larger PCE.

On the existence and stability of traversable wormhole solutions with novel shapefunctions in the framework of F(r,L_(m))gravity

In this work,we have explored wormhole(WH)solutions in F(r,L_(m))gravity by assuming the Morris-Thorne WH metric and F(r,Lm)=r/2+(1+γr)L_(m),whereγis the free model *** determined the WH solutions by utilizing two newly developed shape functions(SF)that satisfy all basic conditions for a WH’s physical *** also observe that the null energy condition(NEC)behaves ***,for both models,we use the volume integral quantifier(VIQ)and Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff(TOV)equation to determine how much exotic matter is needed near the WH throat and the stability of the *** extensive detailed discussions of the matter components have been done via graphical *** obtained WH geometries meet the physically acceptable conditions for a stable wormhole.
