Serial remote sensing images offer a valuable means of tracking the evolutionary changes and growth of a specific geographical area over *** the original images may provide limited insights,they harbor considerable potential for identifying clusters and *** aggregation of these serial remote sensing images(SrSI)becomes increasingly viable as distinct patterns emerge in diverse scenarios,such as suburbanization,the expansion of native flora,and agricultural *** a novel approach,we propose an innovative method for extracting sequential patterns by combining Ant Colony Optimization(ACD)and Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD).This integration of the newly developed EMD and ACO techniques proves remarkably effective in identifying the most significant characteristic features within serial remote sensing images,guided by specific *** findings highlight a substantial improvement in the efficiency of sequential pattern mining through the application of this unique hybrid method,seamlessly integrating EMD and ACO for feature *** study exposes the potential of our innovative methodology,particularly in the realms of urbanization,native vegetation expansion,and agricultural activities.

Smart metering has gained considerable attention as a research focus due to its reliability and energy-efficient nature compared to traditional electromechanical metering systems. Existing methods primarily focus on data management,rather than emphasizing efficiency. Accurate prediction of electricity consumption is crucial for enabling intelligent grid operations,including resource planning and demandsupply balancing. Smart metering solutions offer users the benefits of effectively interpreting their energy utilization and optimizing costs. Motivated by this,this paper presents an Intelligent Energy Utilization Analysis using Smart Metering Data(IUA-SMD)model to determine energy consumption patterns. The proposed IUA-SMD model comprises three major processes:data Pre-processing,feature extraction,and classification,with parameter optimization. We employ the extreme learning machine(ELM)based classification approach within the IUA-SMD model to derive optimal energy utilization labels. Additionally,we apply the shell game optimization(SGO)algorithm to enhance the classification efficiency of the ELM by optimizing its parameters. The effectiveness of the IUA-SMD model is evaluated using an extensive dataset of smart metering data,and the results are analyzed in terms of accuracy and mean square error(MSE). The proposed model demonstrates superior performance,achieving a maximum accuracy of65.917% and a minimum MSE of0.096. These results highlight the potential of the IUA-SMD model for enabling efficient energy utilization through intelligent analysis of smart metering data.

Nowadays,researchers are becoming increasingly concerned about developing a highly efﬁcient emission free transportation and energy generation system for addressing the pressing issue of environmental crisis in the form of pollution and climate *** introduction of Electric Vehicles(EVs)solves the challenge of emission-free transportation while the necessity for decarbonized energy production is fulﬁlled by the installation and expansion of solar-powered Photovoltaic(PV)***,this paper focuses on designing an effective PV based EV charging system that aids in stepping towards the achievement of a pollution free *** overcoming the inherent intermittency associated with PV,a novel DC-DC converter is designed by integrating both Trans Z-source con-verter and Luo converter,which offers remarkable beneﬁts of high conversion range,lesser voltage stress and excellent efﬁciency.A novel robust Lion Grey Wolf Optimized Proportional Integral(LGWO-PI)controller is designed for sig-niﬁcantly strengthening the operation of the integrated converter in terms of peak overshoot,Total Harmonic Distortion(THD)and settling time.A 3’Voltage Source Inverter(VSI)is employed to convert the stable DC output from the PV sys-tem to AC,which is then used for driving the Brushless Direct Current Motor(BLDC)motor of *** speed of the BLDC is regulated using a PI *** BLDC motor gets the power supply from the grid during the unavailability of PV based power *** grid is integrated with the designed EV charging system through a 1’VSI and the process of grid voltage synchronization is carried out with the application of PI *** simulation for evaluating the operation of the presented EV charging system is done using MATLAB and the attained out-comes have validated that this introduced methodology delivers enhanced perfor-mance with optimal efﬁciency of 97.6%and lesser THD of 2.1%.

Before being dispersed in the environment, mature seeds need to be dehydrated. The survival of seeds after dispersal depends on their low hydration in combination with high desiccation tolerance. These characteristics are estab- lished during seed maturation. Some key seed maturation genes have been reported to be regulated by alternative splicing （AS）. However, so far AS was described only for single genes and a comprehensive analysis of AS during seed maturation has been lacking. We investigated gene expression and AS during Arabidopsis thaliana seed development at a global level, before and after desiccation. Bioinformatics tools were developed to identify differentially spliced regions within genes. Our data suggest the importance and shows the peculiar features of AS during seed desiccation. We identified AS in 347o of genes that are expressed at both timepoints before and after desiccation. Most of these AS transcript variants had not been found before in other tissues. Among the AS genes some seed master regulators could be found. Interestingly, 6% of all expressed transcripts were not transcriptionally regulated during desiccation, but only modified by AS. We propose that AS should be more routinely taken into account in the analysis of transcriptomic data to prevent overlooking potentially important regulators.

Across optics and photonics,excess intensity noise is often considered a ***,we show that excess noise in broadband supercontinuum and superluminescent diode light sources encodes each spectral channel with unique intensity fluctuations,which actually serve a useful ***,we report that excess noise correlations can both characterize the spectral resolution of spectrometers and enable cross-calibration of their wavelengths across a broad *** to previous methods that use broadband interferometry and narrow linewidth lasers to characterize and calibrate spectrometers,our approach is simple,comprehensive,and rapid enough to be deployed during spectrometer ***,we employ this approach to aid alignment and reduce the depth-dependent degradation of the sensitivity and axial resolution in a spectrometer-based optical coherence tomography(OCT)system,revealing a new outer retinal ***,we achieve a pixel-to-pixel correspondence between two otherwise disparate spectrometers,enabling a robust comparison of their respective ***,excess intensity noise has useful applications in optics and photonics.

The serine/threonine phosphatase （PP1） isoform PP1γ2, predominantly expressed in the testis, is a key enzyme in spermatozoa. High PP1γ2 catalytic activity holds motility in check in immature spermatozoa. Inhibition of PP1γ2 causes motility initiation in immature spermatozoa and motility stimulation and changes in flagellar beat parameters in mature spermatozoa. The PP1γ2 isoform is present in all mammalian spermatozoa studied： mouse, rat, hamster, bovine, non-human primate and man. We have now identified at least four of its regulatory proteins that regulate distinct pools of PP1γ2 within spermatozoa. Our studies provide new insights into biochemical mechanisms underlying development and regulation of sperm motility. We hypothesize that changes in sperm PP1γ2 activity as a result of phosphorylation and reversible binding of the regulatory proteins to the catalytic subunit are critical in the development and regulation of motility and the ability of sperm to fertilize eggs. Targeted disruption of the Ppplcc gene, which encodes the PP1γ1 or PP1γ2 isoforms, causes male infertility in mice as a result of impaired spermiogenesis. Our observations suggest that, in addition to motility, the protein phosphatase PP1γ2 might play an isoform-specific function in the development of specialized flagellar structures of mammalian spermatozoa. （Asian j Androl 2007 july; 9： 445--452）

Experiments have identified the rayleigh–Taylor(rT)instability as one of the greatest obstacles to achieving inertial confinement ***,mitigation strategies to reduce rT growth and fuel–ablator mixing in the hotspot during the deceleration phase of the implosion are of great *** this work,the effect of seed magnetic fields on deceleration-phase rT growth are studied in planar and cylindrical geometries under conditions relevant to the National Ignition Facility(NIF)and Omega *** magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)and resistive-MHD capabilities of the FLASH code are used to model imploding cylinders and planar blast-wave-driven *** target and laser parameters are presented that suggest the occurrence of morphological differences in late-time rT evolution in the cylindrical NIF case and a measurable difference in spike height of single-mode growth in the planar NIF *** results of this study indicate the need for target designs to utilize an rT-unstable foam–foam interface in order to achieve sufficient magnetic field amplification to alter rT *** FLASH simulations are used to study these magnetic field effects in both resistive and ideal MHD.
