The present study deals with the Early Permian floral diversity,palaeoenvironment,palaeoclimate and depositional setting using a multiproxy approach that includes morphotaxonomy,palynology,and organic geochemistry of Karo OCM(Open Cast Mine),East Bokaro Coalfield,Damodar Gondwana Basin,*** Permian sediments of Peninsular India are widely regarded as fluvial,along with some marine *** macroplant fossil assemblage exhibits the presence of Glossopteridales,comprising Glossopteris,Gangamopteris,and Vertebraria,as well as Coniferales,which includes *** palynological assemblage encompasses the dominance of the striate bisaccate pollen Faunipollenites *** the subdominance of the non-striate bisaccate pollen Scheuringipollenites *** glossopterid *** megafloral and palynofloral assemblage confirms the biostratigraphical age to be Late Barakar palynoflora of Kungurian *** studied morphological characteristics,including small to large Glossopteris leaves exhibiting a lanceolate shape,acute apices,and acute cuneate or tapering bases,as well as entire margins with narrower lamina and narrow meshes,suggest the existence of a dense forest with the prevalence of a warm and humid climate during their *** organic geochemical characterization based on functional group and biomarker analyses reveals the diagenetic effects on organic *** symmetric(~2865-2855 cm^(-1))and asymmetric stretching(~2930-2910 cm^(-1))peaks are identifiable in coal samples,whereas they are absent in carbonaceous *** A-factor vs.C-factor plot suggests that the kerogen type is type Ⅲ,which can generate mainly gaseous *** vitrinite reflectance studies(r_(r) av.1.1%)show increased maturity of the samples,which is supported by the n-alkane distribution pattern and the absence of hopane *** Indian floral assemblages in contemporary of southern Gondwana continents reveal a stronger inclination/affinity with th

Background The cryptic nature of pink bollworm Pectinophora gossypiella(Saunders)larvae enables its reduced vul-nerability to insecticidal ***,the development of resistance against Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt)toxins posed a serious threat to transgenic cotton *** necessitated determining the critical timing of spray applications on the control *** study assessed the influence of egg age(freshly laid ***-day-old)and the loca-tion of larvae(directly exposed to the insecticide residues on the boll rind *** inside the bolls)on insecticide control *** The results revealed a significant decrease in the ovicidal activity of tested insecticides with an increase in the age of eggs from one day old to three days old(paired t-test,Prvae directly exposed to the insec-ticide residues on the boll rind were more susceptible(>80%mortality)than the larvae exposed after they had bur-rowed inside the bolls(rtality).The inhibitory effects of tested insecticides on developmental biology were more pronounced in the experiment on pre-larval release insecticide treatment compared with insecticide treatment given post-larval release and entry inside the *** Egg age influences the insecticide susceptibility,as does the larval location,directly exposed vs bur-rowed inside the *** eggs and the larvae that had burrowed inside the green bolls of cotton were relatively less susceptible to the insecticide *** toxic effects of insecticides on egg and larval stages were primar-ily *** findings are significant for devising a comprehensive strategy for pink bollworm management on a sustainable basis.

The current research work proposed a novel optimization-based 2D-SIMM(Two-Dimensional Sine Iterative chaotic map with inﬁnite collapse Mod-ulation Map)model for image *** proposed 2D-SIMM model is derived out of sine map and Iterative Chaotic Map with Inﬁnite Collapse(ICMIC).In this technique,scrambling effect is achieved with the help of Chaotic Shift Transform(CST).Chaotic Shift Transform is used to change the value of pixels in the input image while the substituted value is cyclically shifted according to the chaotic sequence generated by 2D-SIMM *** chaotic sequences,generated using 2D-SIMM model,are sensitive to initial *** the proposed algorithm,these initial conditions are optimized using JAYA optimization *** coefﬁcient and entropy are considered asﬁtness functions in this study to evaluate the best solution for initial *** simulation results clearly shows that the proposed algorithm achieved a better performance over existing *** addition,the VLSI implementation of the proposed algorithm was also carried out using Xilinx system *** optimization,the correlation coefﬁcient was-0.014096 and without optimization,it was 0.002585.

Ballistic parameter plays a major role in determining the re-entry *** ballistic coefficient offers an optimal re-entry,wherein the vehicle decelerates higher up in the atmosphere thereby decreasing the imposed aerothermal *** current computational study proposes an add-on,to the existing Orion-based re-entry vehicle:a duct circumventing the capsule from the shoulder to the base,to improve the aerocapture ability of the re-entry *** design cases are categorised based on a non-dimensional parameter termed the Annular Area ratio(AAr).Dragand ballistic coefficient of the Ducted re-entry Vehicles(DrVs)at various Mach numbers are evaluated and compared with those of the baseline *** results show that the proposed design increases the drag for all the AArs considered in the subsonic *** the supersonic regime,ducted models of higher AAr are more promising with the increase in Mach *** also exhibit lower ballistic coefficients than their baseline counterparts.

Use of sewage in split doses to enhance water productivity for fish culture

The problem of sewage disposal has received great attention *** raw sewage contains a variety of high inorganic and organic matters that affect natural water *** mitigate such problem,sewage may be recycled through aquaculture *** recycling in aquaculture enhances water productivity through nutrients *** loading of sewage ensures viable aquaculture;otherwise,fish mortality occurs due to poor water *** optimize sewage application,two different experiments were conducted,each with four *** both experiments,three fish species namely rohu(Labeo rohita Hamilton,1822),mrigal(Cirrhinus mrigala Hamilton,1822),and bata(Labeo bata Hamilton,1822)were tested in triplicate in FrP(Fibre-reinforced Plastic)*** sewage concentrations(0,25%,50%and 75%)used in first experiment were prepared by mixing freshwater,showing Biochemical Oxygen Demand(BOD)2.0±0.4 mg/L,10.8±1.4 mg/L,19.6±1.5 mg/L and 41.6±2.58 mg/L,*** 30 days rearing,results showed≥75%fish survival in sewage concentrations up to 50%with BOD level 19.6±1.5 mg/*** than 50%fish survived in 75%sewage concentration,with BOD level as 41.6±2.58 mg/*** second experiment was conducted for 90 days considering 50%sewage concentration as basal dose with BOD level as 19.6 mg/L as an acceptable limit for fish *** doses of sewage were applied in T_(1),T_(2) and T_(3) treatments fortnightly,weekly and semi-weekly intervals,while single dose was used in C(control)*** of split doses resulted better hydro-biological changes,including nutrients recovery,in T_(1),T_(2) and T_(3) than that of single dose in *** growth plotted with net primary productivity(NPP),phytoplankton and zooplankton densities exhibited positive correlations in T_(2)(12 doses)and T_(3)(24 doses),considered as optimal doses to ensure better water productivity for desirable fish production than sewage with single dose or limited doses(6 doses).

The crown form of maxillary central incisor tooth is one of the vital phenomenon for a person’s *** crown form has been compared with other anatomical parameters such as arch form and facial *** different classes of tooth forms which relate to square,tapered,and ovoid forms are *** aim of this study was to morphometrically evaluate the correlation between maxillary dental arch form and the maxillary central incisor crown *** cast models of fifty male and fifty female normal occlusion controls in the age group of 18-23 years were *** mesiodistal(MD)dimensions of the maxillary central incisors were measured at incisal(MD_I)and at gingival(MD_G)*** transverse widths of maxillary casts were measured at the first molar and at the first premolar *** measured data were statistically analyzed using the SPSS *** MD dimensions of maxillary central incisor were significantly greater in males than *** ratio between the two MD dimensions also varied significantly among *** intermolar width(IMW)and interfirst premolar width(IPmW)between males and females were highly significant(Preas the ratio between these two parameters in males and females was not significant(P=0.43).Eighty‑eight percentage of the participants were found to have an ovoid type of maxillary arch,while only 45%of them had the ovoid form of maxillary central *** MD_I and the IMW were found to be in the ratio of 1:5.5 in both *** MD_G and the IPmW were in the ratio of 1:4.7 in males and 1:4.5 in *** was a weak positive correlation between MD_I and IMW(r^(2)=0.146)and between MD_G and IPmW(r^(2)=0.05).No significant concordance between the maxillary central incisor crown form and the maxillary arch form was found in this study.

This work focuses on the efficiency of the LED acting as the heat sink containing Phase Change Material(PCM). Three different heat sink configurations(H-1, H-2, and H-3) are used in this study. Input power and the number of fins are altered to find their effect on junction temperatures, luminous flux, and thermal resistance. The junction temperature of heat sink H-3 with PCM decreased by 3.1 % when compared with heat sink devoid of PCM at 10 W. The thermal resistance of the heat sink H-3 is reduced by 18.2 % when compared to its counterpart devoid of PCM at 10 W. The luminous flux of the PCM filled heat sink H-3 is found to increase by 12.15 % against the PCM not filled heat sink H-1 at 10 W. The H-3 heat sink with PCM showed superior performance because of the enhanced natural convection and conduction in bulk PCM with fins, and with added high latent heat capacity of PCM.

High quality electricity services are the prime objectives in the modern power systems around the world. One of the main players to achieve this is the protection of the system which needs to be fast, reliable and cost effective. The study about the protection of the Low Voltage (LV) CIGrE distribution grid and networks like this has been proposed in this paper. The main objective of this paper is to develop protection against short circuit faults which might appear anywhere in the network. The protection of the power networks that comprises of renewable energy generation units is complicated because of the bidirectional flow of the current and is a challenge for the protection engineers. The selection of the protection devices in this paper is made to protect the network against faults in grid connected and island mode of operation. Ultra-fast fuses are proposed in order to protect the inverters used for Photovoltaic (PV) and battery applications. The disconnection of the PV solar panels when in island mode is made by proposing switch disconnecting devices. ABB is currently using these kinds of disconnection devices for the purpose of protecting solar panels against over voltages in the case of islanding. The over speed protection of the existing Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) in the CIGrE network in case of grid loss is also proposed in this paper.
