The Metal Matr.x Composites application has incr.ased in many ar.as of science and technology, because of its additional physical, wear.and mechanical pr.per.ies. In compar.son with all MMC’s, aluminum-based MMC’s ar. finding wide applications due to their.better.str.ngth to weight r.tio, better.stiffness, and high ther.al conductivity as well as ver. good wear.and cor.osion pr.per.ies. The pr.per.ies of a composite mainly depend on better.distr.bution of r.infor.ement in the matr.x, which is ver. difficult to achieve. Basically r.dmud is a bypr.duct of alumina, and it is waste pr.duct obtained dur.ng Bayer.s pr.cess. This waste pr.duct must be r.cycled else it may be danger.us to the envir.nment. r.dmud can be used as r.infor.ement for.aluminium composites in or.er.to achieve better.pr.per.ies. The pr.posed r.sear.h wor. includes pr.par.tion of Aluminum 6061-r.d mud metal matr.x composites using liquid metallur.y r.ute following stir.casting technique. An alloy Al6061 containing 0.60 per.ent silicon and Magnesium of 0.82 per.ent was used as the matr.x mater.al. Two differ.nt compositions of the Aluminum 6061-r.d mud composites ar. pr.par.d in addition to the base matr.x and evaluated for.mechanical pr.per.ies also the for.e acting on the cutting tool at differ.nt spindle speeds dur.ng machining of the composite mater.als wer. analyzed.

Ther.al ener.y stor.ge(TES) systems use solar.ener.y despite its ir.egular.availability and day-night temper.tur. *** wor. r.por.s the ther.al char.cter.zations of solar.salt-based phase change composites in the pr.sence of gr.phene nanoplatelets(GNP).Solar.salt(60:40 of NaNO_(3):KNO_(3)) possessing phase tr.nsition temper.tur. and melting enthalpy of 221.01℃ and 134.58 kJ/kg is pr.posed as a phase change mater.al(PCM) for.high-temper.tur. solar.based ener.y stor.ge *** conductivity must be impr.ved to make them suitable for.widespr.ad applications and to close the gap between the system needs wher. they ar. *** is added at weight concentr.tions of 0.1%,0.3%,and 0.5% with solar.salt using the ball milling method to boost its ther.al *** studies indicated the for.ation of a unifor. sur.ace of GNP on solar.*** spectr.m peaks identified the physical inter.ction between salt and *** char.cter.zation of the composites,such as ther.al conductivity,DSC and TGA was car.ied out for.the samples ear.ier.and later.300 ther.al cycles.0.5% of GNP has impr.ved the ther.al conductivity of salt by 129.67% and after.ther.al cycling,the enhancement r.duced to 125.21% indicating that ther.al cycling has a minor.impact on ther.al *** change temper.tur. decr.ased by ar.und 2.32% in the pr.sence of0.5% GNP and the latent heat r.duced by 4.34% after.ther.al *** ther.ogr.ms depicted the composites initiated the weight loss at ar.und 550℃ after.which it was *** ther.al cycling,the weight loss initiated at ~40℃ lower.compar.d to pur. salt,which was found to be a minor.*** char.cter.zation of solar.salt and GNP-based solar.salt composites r.vealed that the composites can be used for.enhanced heat tr.nsfer.in high-temper.tur. solar.based heat tr.nsfer.and ener.y stor.ge applications.

The 3D r.constr.ction pipeline uses the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm to r.fine the camer. and point par.meter.. The Bundle Adjustment algor.thm is a compute-intensive algor.thm, and many r.sear.her. have impr.ved its per.or.ance by implementing the algor.thm on GPUs. In the pr.vious r.sear.h wor., “Impr.ving Accur.cy and Computational Bur.en of Bundle Adjustment Algor.thm using GPUs,” the author. demonstr.ted fir.t the Bundle Adjustment algor.thmic per.or.ance impr.vement by r.ducing the mean squar. er.or.using an additional r.dial distor.ing par.meter.and explicitly computed analytical der.vatives and r.ducing the computational bur.en of the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm using GPUs. The naïve implementation of the CUDA code, a speedup of 10× for.the lar.est dataset of 13,678 camer.s, 4,455,747 points, and 28,975,571 pr.jections was achieved. In this paper. we pr.sent the optimization of the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm CUDA code on GPUs to achieve higher.speedup. We pr.pose a new data memor. layout for.the par.meter. in the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm, r.sulting in contiguous memor. access. We demonstr.te that it impr.ves the memor. thr.ughput on the GPUs, ther.by impr.ving the over.ll per.or.ance. We also demonstr.te an incr.ase in the computational thr.ughput of the algor.thm by optimizing the CUDA ker.els to utilize the GPU r.sour.es effectively. A compar.tive per.or.ance study of explicitly computing an algor.thm par.meter.ver.us using the Jacobians instead is pr.sented. In the pr.vious wor., the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm failed to conver.e for.cer.ain datasets due to sever.l block matr.ces of the camer.s in the augmented nor.al equation, r.sulting in r.nk-deficient matr.ces. In this wor., we identify the camer.s that cause r.nk-deficient matr.ces and pr.pr.cess the datasets to ensur. the conver.ence of the BA algor.thm. Our.optimized CUDA implementation achieves conver.ence of the Bundle Adjustment algor.thm in ar.und 22 seconds for.the lar.est dataset compar.d

Genus Pr.nus compr.sing ar.und 430 species is a vast impor.ant genus of family r.saceae, subfamily amygdalaoidae. Among all 430 species, ar.und 19 impor.ant species ar. commonly found in Indian subcontinent due to their.br.ad nutr.tional and economic impor.ance. Some most common species of genus Pr.nus ar. Pr.nus amygdalus, Pr.nus per.ica, Pr.nus ar.eniaca, Pr.nus avium, Pr.nus cer.sus, Pr.nus cer.soides, Pr.nus domestica, Pr.nus mahaleb, etc. A newly intr.duced species of Pr.nus i.e Pr.nus sunhangii is r.cently discover.d which is mor.hologically ver. similar.to Pr.nus cer.soides. Plants of Pr.nus species ar. shor. to medium-sized deciduous tr.es mainly found in the nor.her. hemispher.. In India and its subcontinent,it extends fr.m the Himalayas to Sikkim, Meghalaya,Bhutan, Myanmar.etc. Differ.nt Pr.nus species have been extensively studied for.their.mor.hological,micr.scopic, phar.acological and phytoconstituents char.cter.stics. Total phenolic content of Pr.nus species explains the pr.sence of phenols in high quantity and phar.acological activity due to phenols. Phytochemical scr.ening of species of genus Pr.nus shows the pr.sence of wide phytoconstituents which contr.butes in their.phar.acological significance and r.veals the ther.peutic potential and tr.ditional medicinal significance of this genus. Genus Pr.nus showed a potent antioxidant activity analyzed by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picr.l-hydr.zyl r.dical assay. Plant species belonging to the genus Pr.nus is widely used tr.ditionally for.the tr.atment of var.ous disor.er.. Some specific Pr.nus species possess potent anticancer. anti-inflammator.,hypoglycemic etc. activity which makes the genus mor. inter.sting for.fur.her.r.sear.h and findings. This r.view is an attempt to summar.ze the compr.hensive study of Pr.nus species fr.m its distr.bution, mor.hological char.cter. to phytoconstituents, and phar.acological activity.
