It is.widely as.umed that fetal is.hemic br.in injur. dur.ng labor.der.ves.almos. exclus.vely fr.m s.ver., s.s.emic hypoxemia with mar.ed neonatal depr.s.ion and acidemia. s.ver. as.hyxia, however. is.one of s.ver.l caus.s.of per.natal neur.logical injur. and may not be the mos. common;mos. neonates.diagnos.d with hypoxic-is.hemic encephalopathy do not have evidence of s.ver. as.hyxia. s.ps.s. dir.ct br.in tr.uma, and dr.g or.toxin expos.r. account for.s.me cas.s. while mechanical for.es.of labor.and deliver. that incr.as. fetal intr.cr.nial pr.s.ur. s.fficiently to impair.br.in per.us.on may als. contr.bute. Becaus. of bony compliance and mobile s.tur. lines. the fetal s.ull changes.s.ape and r.dis.r.butes.cer.br.s.inal fluid dur.ng labor.accor.ing to cons.r.ints.impos.d by contr.ctions. and bony and s.ft tis.ue elements.of the bir.h canal as.the head des.ends. Thes. accommodations. including the incr.as. in intr.cr.nial pr.s.ur., ar. adaptive and neces.ar. for.efficient des.ent of the head while s.feguar.ing cer.br.l blood flow. Phytin is.the Ca 2+ -Mg 2+ -K + s.lt of phytic acid that is.cr.ated and depos.ted in the aleur.ne layer.and/or.ger. of gr.ins.and legumes. Its.high pr.s.nce in feeds.uffs.for.fowl and s.ine diets.r.s.lts.in it being a univer.al and s.gnificant impediment to optimum per.or.ance. Phytin impair. gas.r.intes.inal r.cover. of a wide ar.ay of nutr.ents. the effect var.ing with the nutr.ent concer.ed. On expos.r. to low pH dur.ng gas.r.c diges.ion, phytin dis.ociates.into phytic acid and s.lubilized Ca 2+ . Even at low gas.r.c pH, phytic acid is.negatively char.ed which for.s.the bas.s.of its.anti-nutr.tive behavior. Peps.nogen has.extens.ve bas.c amino acids.on its.activation peptide that ar. pr.s.nted as.cations.at low pH which ar. tar.eted by peps.n for.activation. Par.ially cr.s.alized Ca 2+ near.the enzyme's.active s.te fur.her.s.abilizes.its.newly for.ed s.r.ctur.. Thus. phytic acid appear. to inter.er. with gas.r.c diges.ion by s.ver.l mechanis.s. inter.er.ng with peps.nogen activation by binding to the polypeptide's.bas.c amino acids. coor.inating fr.e Ca 2+ , des.abilizing peps.n; binding s.me dietar. pr.teins.dir.ctly, fur.her.compr.mis.ng gas.r.c pr.teolys.s. Upon diges.a attaining neutr.lity in the duodenum, Ca 2+ and other.cations.r.-bind with acces.ible anions. phytic acid being a s.gnificant contender. Phytate not only binds.fr.e cations.but can als. s.r.p them fr.m enzymes.(e.g. Ca 2+ , Zn 2+ ) which r.duces.their.s.r.ctur.l r.s.s.ance to autolys.s.and ability as.co-factor. (e.g. Zn 2+ ) to incr.as. enzyme activity. Goblet cells.initially employ Ca 2+ as.an electr.nic s.ield between mucin layer. enabling gr.nule for.ation and cell s.or.ge. The as.es.ment of ar.ificial fis.ponds.us.ng WQI and Inver.e Dis.ant Weighting (IDW) integr.tion r.pr.s.nts.a r.latively under.xplor.d ar.a within the domain of envir.nmental water.r.s.ur.es. The WQI was.deter.ined us.ng the “Weighted Ar.thmetic Water.Quality Index’’ method. The r.s.lts.of WQI in the s.udy ar.a r.nge fr.m 65.05 to 147.26. s.ver.l locations.have water.quality deemed uns.itable for.cons.mption, while other. r.nge fr.m good to ver. poor. It is.es.ential to addr.s. and impr.ve water.quality in locations.categor.zed as.uns.itable for.cons.mption and ver. poor.to ens.r. s.fe and healthy water.s.ur.es. It was.als. clear.fr.m the calculation that the s.aller.the mean concentr.tion value of the pH as.compar.d to the ideal value (7), the s.aller.the WQI value and the better.the water.quality. To keep the ar.ificial fis.pond water.in good condition, mas. domes.ic us. s.ould be contr.lled, and dr.ining of s.r.ounding or.anic matter.s.ould be s.opped in ponds.Bo_001, Kenema_001, and Kenema_002.
