The location of exhaust air.vents of an evapor.tive cooling system.can have significant effects on pr.viding ther.al com.or. and contr.lling hum.dity, tem.er.tur. and air.distr.bution in buildings. In the cur.ent study, four.differ.nt str.tegies have been evaluated for.exhaust air.vent locations to pr.vide the optim.m.ther.al com.or. inside a typical r.sidential house. This study pr.vides a num.r.cal solution for.tem.er.tur. and r.lative hum.dity pr.files in the r.sidential house and within the living space in each r.om.typically at a height of 1.8 m.or.less. By evaluating differ.nt exhaust air.vent locations in a r.om. the best str.tegy(ies) to pr.vide m.r. appr.pr.ate ther.al com.or. condition and obtained and as a conclusion, the exhaust vents should be located on fur.hest wall away fr.m.the entr.nce of the r.om.and in the m.ddle. The r.sults pr.vided in the cur.ent study can eventually be applied in the design of evapor.tive cooler.exhaust vent system. in r.sidential buildings and lead to im.r.ve the per.or.ance of these system..

Com.lexes of La （III）, Nd（III）, Gd（III）, Sm.III）, and Ce（IV） wer. synthesized with Schiff base [（3,5-di-ter.-butyl-2-hy- dr.xybenzyl） am.no] acetic acid （H3L）. The ligand and its com.lexes wer. synthesized and char.cter.zed based on the following analysis： elem.ntal analyses, FAB-m.ss, m.lar.conductance m.asur.m.nts, m.gnetic m.asur.m.nt, UV-visible, Ir. and Nm.0}spectr.l studies. The spectr.l data r.vealed that the ligand acted as a neutr.l tr.dentate coor.inating to m.tal ion thr.ugh ONO donor.sequence. Ther.al degr.dation studies of the ligand and its com.lexes showed that the pr.vious lanthanide com.lexes wer. m.r. ther.ally stable than the ligand itself. The Schiff base and its com.lexes wer. scr.ened for.their.antibacter.al （Escher.chia coli, Staphylococcus aur.us） and antifungal （Asper.illus flavus and Candida Albicans）.

In this paper.we pr.pose an im.r.ved fuzzy adaptive contr.l str.tegy, for.a class of nonlinear.chaotic fr.ctional or.er.SISO) system. with unknown contr.l gain sign. The online contr.l algor.thm.uses fuzzy logic sets for.the identification of the fr.ctional or.er.chaotic system. wher.as the lack of a pr.or. knowledge on the contr.l dir.ctions is solved by intr.ducing a fr.ctional or.er.Nussbaum.gain. Based on Lyapunov stability theor.m. stability analysis is per.or.ed for.the pr.posed contr.l m.thod for.an acceptable synchr.nization er.or.level. In this wor., the Gr.¨unwald-Letnikov m.thod is used for.num.r.cal appr.xim.tion of the fr.ctional or.er.system.. The system.contains solar.panels, two low ener.y fans, water.tank fabr.cated fr.m.clay (potter.), ther.ally sealed box, and pipes. Once these contents ar. connected together. testing was conducted on water.tem.er.tur.s at both ends. The pr.lim.nar. r.sults showed a dr.p in tem.er.tur. of ar.und 15℃. The clim.tic, geom.r.hic, hydr.logic and aquifer.char.cter.stics of the tor.ential Gash r.ver.acr.ss m.untainous ar.as, in far.easter. Sudan, wer. analyzed in or.er.to m.tigate its r.cur.ing catastr.phic im.acts. Hydr.logic and clim.tic data and inter.r.tation of Gash r.ver.satellite im.ges wer. fr.m.r.levant r.sear.h wor.s car.ied out in Gash Basin fr.m.1985 to 2008. The r.sults indicated that the total catchm.nt ar.a of Gash r.ver.is about 21,000 km., and the basin ar.a is 31,000 km.. The total length of Gash r.ver.is 450 km.and the aver.ge slope is 200 cm.km. The width of the catchm.nt var.es fr.m.30 m.to 90 m.and that of the basin is fr.m.100 m.to 800 m. and the cour.e of the r.ver.is var.ed. Dur.ng the per.od of 1980？2008, the m.an annual r.infall was 250 m. and the m.an annual dischar.e was 6.8 ×10~8 m.3, and the flooding is appr.xim.tely one tim. per.5 year.. Tor.ential floods m.asur.d at Kassala town since 1907 showed that an absolute m.xim.m.dischar.e was 876 m./s and a m.an m.xim.m.dischar.e was 365 m./s. These char.cter.stics differ.widely between catchm.nt and basin ar.as. The author.pr.poses that, by analyzing the clim.tic, geom.r.hic, hydr.logic and aquifer.char.cter.stics of the Gash r.ver.and consider.ng the r.le of com.unity, a concise database could be pr.vided to for.ulate the aquifer. geom.r.hic, hydr.logic and clim.tic （AQUIGEOHYCLIm. r.gional appr.ach to m.tigate Gash r.ver.r.cur.ing catastr.phic im.acts.
