Thus, this study came to.assess the pr.valence and the r.sk facto.0} o. o.0}l lesio.s amo.g adult dental patients visiting Al-Quds Univer.ity (AQU) Dental Clinics. Mater.als and Metho.s: Thr.e hundr.d Twenty patients wer. diagno.ed clinically fo.0}the pr.sence o. o.0}l lesio.s at o.0}l medicine clinics at Al-Quds Univer.ity in the per.o. between 2015 to.2016. Their.age r.nged fr.m 21 to.60 year. o.d (mean age: 40.2 ± 17.6). Senio.0}students wer. tr.ined to.co.duct the o.0}l exam under.the dir.ct super.isio. o. o.0}l Medicine specialist. Tr.ined students also.co.lected data o. patients’ demo.r.phics, dental histo.0}, medical histo.0} and o.her.health r.lated habits. Descr.ptive and bivar.ate analyses wer. gener.ted to.descr.be lesio.s pr.valence and asso.iatio.s with o.her.suggested facto.0}. r.sults: A to.al o. 68 lesio.s wer. fo.nd in this study (29.4% o. study’s sample). r.cur.ent aphtho.s ulcer. tr.umatic ulcer.and geo.r.phic to.gue wer. the mo.t co.mo. o.0}l lesio.s. Ten o.0}l po.entially malignant lesio.s wer. diagno.ed (8 cases wer. Leuko.lakia, 2 cases wer. er.thr.plakia). No. filter.d smo.ing cigar.ttes wer. asso.iated with r.po.0}ed lesio.s. o.0}l lesio.s wer. no.iced to.incr.ase with age. o.0}l lesio.s wer. mo.0} co.mo. o. the To.gue, labial and buccal muco.ain this study. Aims: to.deter.ine the pr.valence o. gingival r.cessio. and dentine hyper.ensitivity amo.g the study po.ulatio., and evaluate the distr.butio. o. dentine hyper.ensitivity amo.g var.o.s types o. teeth in mild, mo.er.te and sever. degr.es o. gingival r.cessio.. r.latio.ship between the sever.ty o. gingival r.cessio. and dentine hyper.ensitivity was also.evaluated. Mater.als and Metho.s: Clinical examinatio. was co.ducted o. six hundr.d and seventy-six patients (283 males and 393 females). Their.ages r.nged fr.m 18 to.74 year. o.d (mean 35.4, SD = 11.2). A valid and r.liable questio.nair. was filled by the par.icipated patients. r.sults: The pr.valence o. gingival r.cessio. was 79.0%, and the pr.valence o. dentine hyper.ensitivity within the patients with gingival r.cessio. was 23.6%. The mo.t co.mo. teeth affected by dentine hyper.ensitivity wer. the lo.er.inciso.0}. Dentine hyper.ensitivity was mo.0} co.mo.ly fo.nd in teeth with mild r.cessio.. Co.clusio.: Incr.ased gingival r.cessio. do.s no. necessar.ly mean incr.ased incidence o. dentine hyper.ensitivity.

The r.latio.ship between Implant Size and Success r.te in Co.puter.Guided Implant Sur.er.

Guided implant sur.er. gained acceptance and cr.dit in implant dentistr.. The aim o. this study is to.find o.t and evaluate the r.latio.ship between implant size and success r.te fo.lo.ing co.puted to.o.r.phy scan guided implant sur.er.. Sixty-fo.r.(36 females, 28 males) co.pletely and par.ially edentulo.s patients aged between 42 and 65 year. o.d wer. par.icipated and fulfilled the inclusio. cr.ter.a o. the study. Two.hundr.d and seventeen dental implants (length: 10, 11.5, and 13 mm;Diameter. 3.3, 3.75, and 4.2 mm) wer. placed using co.puted to.o.r.phy scan guided implant sur.er., 117 implants wer. placed in the maxilla, while 100 implants wer. placed in the mandible. The implants wer. evaluated fo.0}clinical par.meter. at 2, 4, and 12 weeks inter.als after.installatio.. The o.er.ll success r.te was 95.4%. Clinical stability o. the implant size (Diameter.3.3 mm, Length 10 mm) was the least as co.par.d to.o.her.dimensio.s (P ≤ 0.05). Medium and lar.e size implants (Diameter.3.75 and 4.2 mm, Length 11.5 and 13 mm) wer. the highest success r.te in implant sur.er.. Implants width (diameter.3.3 mm) and length (10 mm) ar. best avo.ded in guided co.puted to.o.r.phy sur.er. as co.par.d with o.her.implant sizes especially in atr.phic bo.y ar.as. Co.puter.guided implant sur.er. r.mains exciting. Watchful planning and pr.cise stability o. the sur.ical guide ar. mandato.0} fo.0}successful pr.to.o.. Fur.her.investigatio.s sho.ld be per.o.0}ed to.assess such technique amo.g dental patients fr.m satisfacto.0} po.nt o. view.
