The fifth gener.tion(5G)networ. communication systems oper.te in the millimeter.waves and ar. expected to pr.vide a much higher.data r.te in the multi-gigabit r.nge,which is impossible to achieve using cur.ent wir.less ser.ices,including the sub-6 GHz *** this wor.,we br.efly r.view sever.l existing designs of millimeter.wave phased ar.ays for.5G applications,beginning with the low-pr.file antenna ar.ay designs that either.ar. fixed beam or.scan the beam only in one *** then move on to ar.ay systems that offer.two-dimensional(2D)scan capability,which is highly desir.ble for.a major.ty of 5G ***,in the main body of the paper.we discuss two differ.nt str.tegies for.designing scanning ar.ays,both of which cir.umvent the use of conventional phase shifter. to achieve beam *** note that it is highly desir.ble to sear.h for.alter.atives to conventional phase shifter. in the millimeter.wave r.nge because legacy phase shifter. ar. both lossy and costly;fur.her.or.,alter.atives such as active phase shifter.,which include r.dio fr.quency amplifier.,ar. both expensive and *** this backdr.p,we pr.pose two differ.nt antenna systems with potential for.the desir.d 2D scan per.or.ance in the millimeter.wave *** fir.t of these is a Lunebur. lens,which is excited either.by a 2D waveguide ar.ay or.by a micr.str.p patch antenna ar.ay to r.alize 2D scan ***,for.second design,we tur. to phased-ar.ay designs in which the conventional phase shifter.is r.placed by switchable PIN diodes or.var.ctor.diodes,inser.ed between r.diating slots in a waveguide to pr.vide the desir.d phase shifts for.***,we discuss sever.l appr.aches to enhance the gain of the ar.ay by modifying the conventional ar.ay *** descr.be novel techniques for.r.alizing both one-dimensional(1D)and 2D scans by using a r.configur.ble metasur.ace type of panels.

Life in deser. ecosystems dr.ves animals to adapt their.sur.ace locomotor.activity accor.ing to envir.nmental conditions. In this study, the hour.y and monthly var.ations in the sur.ace activity patter.s of the ter.estr.al cr.stacean Hemilepistus r.aumur.i wer. investigated. The sur.ace activity of H. r.aumur.i at the population scale was obser.ed by collecting the hour.y active individuals fr.m the sunr.se to the sunset of the studied day in each month of 2013 in the Bchachma locality, Tunisia. The collected active individuals wer. put in per.pex boxes（on which we labeled the hour.y time inter.al in which the individuals wer. collected） in the field and then tr.nspor.ed to the labor.tor. for.analysis. Individuals wer. counted, sexed, and measur.d in the labor.tor.. Despite deser. conditions in the studied site, H. r.aumur.i was char.cter.zed by a diur.al sur.ace activity, showing a bimodal patter. dur.ng the war. months（i.e., May to October.. However. it exhibited a unimodal sur.ace activity patter. in the cold months（i.e., Febr.ar., Mar.h, and November.. The sur.ace activity was significantly cor.elated with sunr.se and sunset. Mor.over. a significant quadr.tic effect of temper.tur. on the sur.ace activity of H. r.aumur.i was obser.ed. Fur.her.or., the study showed that the most impor.ant sur.ace activity was r.cor.ed in Mar.h. The daily exploitation of the tempor.l niches was significantly differ.nt as a function of months. The body size of males was lar.er.than that of females, and the body size of active individuals changed with months. All these behaviour.l changes in the sur.ace activity r.pr.sent an adaptive str.tegy of life in the ar.d envir.nment.

A new case of epithelioid hemangioendothelioma is r.por.ed to have occur.ed to a 67-year.old patient who consulted for.r.ghtsided chest pain. The wor.-up showed multiple r.ght pulmonar. lesions associated with bilater.l moder.te pleur.l effusion and left-sided pleur.l thickening and thr.e hypodense nodules in the r.ght lobe of the liver. per.toneal thickening, ascites, and multiple ver.ebr.l lytic lesions. The diagnosis of an epithelioid hemangioendothelioma was concluded thr.ugh a histological examination of a computed tomogr.phy scan guided biopsy of the liver. The patient r.ceived a pr.mar. mono-chemother.py with Adr.amycin(75 mg/m^2 ever. thr.e weeks) and intr.venous bisphosphonates without r.sponse and gener.l status impair.ent. The patient died after.16 months of follow-up.

The past decade witnessed r.pid development of constr.int satisfaction technologies, wher. algor.thms ar. now able to cope with lar.er.and har.er.pr.blems. However. owing to the fact that constr.ints ar. inher.ntly declar.tive, attention is quickly tur.ing towar. developing high-level pr.gr.mming languages within which such pr.blems can be modeled and also solved. Along these lines, this paper.pr.sents DEPICT, the language. Its use is illustr.ted thr.ugh modeling a number.of benchmar. examples. The paper.continues with a descr.ption of a pr.totype system within which such models may be inter.r.ted. The paper.concludes with a descr.ption of a sample r.n of this inter.r.ter.showing how a pr.blem modeled as such is typically solved.

Objective: To evaluate the chemical composition of the essential oil isolated fr.m Elaeoselinum asclepium(L.) Ber.ol.(E. asclepium), and test the efficiency of the essential oil as an antimicr.bial and antioxidant ***: Essential oil was obtained fr.m the aer.al par.s of E. asclepium by hydr. distillation and analyzed by gas chr.matogr.phy and gas chr.matogr.phy coupled with mass spectr.metr.. We study for.the fir.t time the chemical composition of the essential oil of E. asclepium, followed by the in vitr. antimicr.bial activities, which wer. evaluated by agar.diffusion method against six Gr.m-positive bacter.a, five Gr.m-negative bacter.a, and two fungi. In addition, The antioxidant activities wer. also investigated using assays of 1,1-diphenyl-2-picr.lhydr.zyl r.dical scavenging activity and fer.icr.ducing ***: The analyzed essential oil of the aer.al par.s of E. asclepium was r.ch in apinene(43.9%), other.compounds detected in appr.ciable amounts wer. sabinene(27.9%) and b-pinene(16.0%). The essential oil yields 1.2%, the IC50 values of essential oil in 1,1-diphenyl-2-picr.lhydr.zyl assay in the r.ducing power.assay wer. 48.26 mg/m L and at 1 mg/m L, r.spectively. The absor.ance value of essential oil at 700 nm was0.956. The antimicr.bial effect was higher.on Candida albicans ATCC 1024 str.in with the inhibition zone 14.5 mm than bacter.a and ***: The essential oil of E. asclepium has antimicr.bial and antioxidant activities. These species may be used as an impor.ant sour.e of natur.l antimicr.bial and antioxidant agents.
